Service is really good; staffed by really nice and competent kids. Prices are pretty crazy though and the seasonal drinks aren't all that. I heard somewhere with Dutch bros you are paying for the experience but it just feels like a more expensive Starbucks with no food and nicer staff. read more

The two times I have walked over to order a drink I was ignored and all the cars that kept coming were getting helped before me, I was forced to walk up to a window and tell them I had been waiting both times and one time I had ordered ahead so they grabbed my drink and gave it to me after I finally told them I had been standing waiting and the second time I walked up to the window and they told me to go stand in the spot to wait if you are not in a vehicle and nobody came while they continued to take orders from people in vehicles only, as a medical proffesional that is very busy at work, I only came because I work near by but I will not be retuning, if I could give zero stars I would. read more

from coming from the Bay Area to Citrus Heights Dutch Bros, my experience was not the greatest. I ordered a small chai and it took them near nearly 10 minutes to make, especially when I walked up. The drive-through was packed, but that does not give them no excuse to take care of the walk-ins faster. The workers are very young and polite but the same time it shouldn't take 10 minutes to wait for a chai latte especially Dutch Bros. I expected better customer service better and faster service but apparently I'm wrong because of this review I might not come back to Dutch Bros. read more

Really sad they discontinued my drink, I used to love coming to Dutch to get a London fog tea. But Dutch Bros discontinued their teas?? It's a coffee shop idk why you would discontinue tea but it would be really nice if they would have the earl grey tea again. It looks like they have them on the menu ? But they do not actually have them in store anymore... Other than that I have no complaints I absolutely love everyone who works at all the locations I've been at but now I don't go to any of them since the tea is the only thing I would get on the menu. read more

Really good for what it is. They don't do anything spectacular but I'm not going to a drive through coffee shop expecting anything crazy.

Second time at this location and it will be my go-to spot for sure. Went to the Roseville location and the drink that's as made was pretty bad. On our way to another errand we pass this location and decide to buy another drink to replace the bad one - well they surpassed our expectations because they remade it for free. Don't get me wrong Dutch bros is good, but a little too sugary for my liking. I used to get the rebels but I recently stopped drinking all caffeinated drinks except for matcha and chai so I'm a little biased the service not going to lie was better in the 20teens (2016-2019) it was a place where I'd go to hangout late nights with friends and the workers were more personable but that was just my experience! Came in the other night to get a few drinks. We waited in line over 20 minutes with only three cars ahead of us. That would have been fine but when we got our drinks there was a sand like substance at the bottom of our two coffees. We got a mouth full of whatever it was the first drink. And I tried it once more to see if I could identify what it was. I do not know what it was but it was disgusting. We ended up pouring our drinks out. I did not feel safe drinking it. 20 bucks down the drain. I wrote Dutch bros customer service and they basically said to bad. They did not care about the mystery substance in the coffee. I don't know why Dutch bros quality and service has been horrible lately. Maybe because they have opened more locations recently and they have a big head. Idk but the quality of the drinks does not reflect the prices. And I'm a regular at Dutch bros but after customer service didn't care one bit or try to do anything I don't know if I feel like wasting money on watered down version of coffee. This is my favorite location!! My drinks are always on point! Traffic on this corner can be hectic, but I think that is a perfect location for a Dutch Bros! They have 2 windows on this location and traffic goes in the opposite direction of each other. Staff here is like going to your happy place! Everyone is talkative and enjoys hearing about your day! Great customer service and menu items. Love going to Dutch Brothers. The lines are worth the results

Today Dutch Bros lost my business for life. Just like my experience at Loehman's Jamba Juice, I was treated in a way I don't find respectful. This was the second time I was told to "stand by the light post" in the middle of the asphalt lot to order and wait for my beverage. It's 97°F and I just ran 3 miles before arriving here. I'm not standing in the middle of asphalt in the direct sun when I'm overheating from running. Their excuse is covid. Have these people paid attention to their business practices? The customers in their cars are only 5' away from the person at the window. So they're essentially telling me, "hey you, skinny healthy chick. Yeah you. The one who ran to get her coffee. Go stand over there because I'm afraid I'll get Corona from you." While all these lazy asses in their cars, most not wearing masks, pull right up to their employees and often gab for a couple of minutes. Common sense is not common. The icing on the cake is that they would not accept looking at my driver's license to give me a free birthday drink today. They were requiring me to download their app. Nope. Very few businesses get the privilege of having their app on my phone. Dutch Bros is not one of them. So today Dutch Bros lost my business for life. I'll make my own. Just like I do when I want a smoothie. Cheaper, healthier, faster, better. I'm building my financial house, not paying some CEO's jet fuel or whatever their upper level management spends their money on. read more

I was visiting Sacremento and I heard about the hype so I had to try it! I love iced coffee so I tried the ANNIHILATOR, it was outstanding! I got it oat milk and it was creamy rich. The only downside of my experience was the long lines but its makes sense, they drinks are delicious. Despite the long lines they are super organized and not to mention, the staff is beyond friendly! The young staff always sets a person up for a good day- not just by literally delivering the goodness of caffeine to the drive through patrons but with their friendly approach. Had to ask for a manager because she was being so blatantly rude & I was absolutely confused about what was even happening. The very last time I will ever go to this coffee shop. My daughter is young and loves the products, so I decided to get her a $50 gift card. So I wait in line through four cars, but what the heck, it a gift. The girl taking orders hears my request, lets me know I have to go to the window since I was paying with cash. After half a hour, I get to the window, make my request for a gift card, she disappears for 5 minutes and finally come back, I hand her the money and then she refuses the bill. "We only accept bills up to $20." I tell her I only have a fifty or a hundred? Totally ignoring me , she says we only take twenty's. I repeat myself, and she makes no effort to resolve the problem. She doesn't ask her supervisor or make any effort to fix the issue. I end up having to drive away. Never again will I frequent this business. read more

As our first time at a Dutch Bros, I feel a little conflicted! Service was STELLAR, but my drink was just ok. This particular Dutch Bros is nestled next to a Mickey D's, and has two drive-thru windows and one walk-up window. When the SO and I pulled up around noon Monday, there were already a huge line of cars on either side. We ordered: Large Iced Grasshopper Mocha Hot Coffee Our cashier girl with the super cute periwinkle nails rung us up, and upon hearing it was our first time, hooked us up with how the stamp system worked! I also enjoyed that she was talkative to us as we waited for our drinks. We did have to hand back one of the drinks cause they thought we wanted a iced black coffee but the SO is old and lame and wanted a regular old hot coffee. Our total came to a little over $8. Yeesh. Verdict on the drinks? I enjoyed mine, but I didn't finish it. Not enough mint, and would have enjoyed more. The SO said their coffee is not as good as Jack In the Box's coffee.. and that the reason people who rave over Dutch Bros is because they can't taste the actual coffee when there's tons of syrup pumped into their drinks. As I've tried everything on both the official and secret menus and worked my way around the area to almost having tried every location in the region, I can tell you that this location in particular is the one that consistently gets it right in every aspect of the Dutch Brothers model. This line also moves the quickest and now they almost always have enough staff to have someone walking the line outside taking orders. Even in the rain! And for you nay-sayers that complain it's too sweet... don't be afraid to tell these friendly people what you want or to make your drink over if you're not fully satisfied.
