Wow. this staff needs to go back to customer service training. I was having a business meeting. Long story short at 5 PM, We were told that we need to leave now as the lobby was closing. In most restaurants, they will understandably give a few minutes of grace while we wrap up. I looked to my left and a worker is staring at us. My business partner said please give us two minutes. The woman literally said no we are closed now you need to leave. I looked at the manager and she said we repeated many times that the Lobby is closing. we never heard them because we were talking. They kick us out. honestly rudely. I looked down at my phone and it is 5:03 PM all this because we were 2-3 minutes late? They should be ashamed of themselves and educated on customer service. I go to this Starbucks out of convenience, but after a year of frequenting this establishment, I can say with confidence that this is my favorite one. First day and everyone was absolutely all smiles and very friendly! They had slices of cake in cups for their grand opening (we have yet to try). Ordered banana nut bread for the kid (he loves it!) and a cake pop (for later), because well, it's summer and who doesn't like a sweet treat?! Also got a green tea latte that's always good. There were three people dining in, making it fairly quiet. Most of the noise came from the baristas working the drive-thru or hanging out. It was a friendly environment for sure. Very unpleasant experience here. I went through the drive thru and ordered a nitro. Person at the window took my card then reached out with her card reader and said "it's going to ask you a question." She was asking for a tip for a drive thru order. She handed me my order and I tasted it. It tasted burnt like it's been brewed in high temps. So I went in with my order and told them it didn't taste right like a nitro does at the other Starbucks. So she comes up and takes my order looking annoyed. She tells one of the baristas we need a remake then leaves. Customer service was 3.5/5 stars. The strawberry creme Frappuccino tasted odd. Gave me the worst poop ever. I wanted to chill and do hw there. Then almost instantly after finishing a quarter of the smallest drink. I needed to poop. A weird crowd of two came in and occupied the bathroom. They looked homeless and carried a food processor/blender to bathroom. I waited a while til I couldn't anymore. Got in my car and drove as fast as I could to get home to poop. Pretty inconsistent! Made my wife's drink good. Grande caramel macchiato with an extra shot iced. I ordered a venti made the same way. Came home and my drink tasted like caramel milk. My wife called in and asked to have it fixed. They agreed and asked for us to refer to Karri. I came back to the store and returned the drink. Wanting something different I asked for a black and white mocha venti with an extra shot and raspberry. The barista asked if I wanted whip. I told her no. My order was made and right on top was whip cream. Smh. I let my barista know I wanted no whip and she said "ok". This was the same barista that I had told "no whip". She took my drink and scraped the whip cream out with the lid making the drink messy for me to clean up. Overall not satisfied at all with this time of going to Starbucks at this specific location. Maybe this doesn't happen often, I'm not sure. But definitely had to review about this as I barely come to this Starbucks location. LOCATION i do like this location because its right by the freeway entrance. i also like how it is in the shopping mall with quiznos right next to it. I also like how it is walkable distance to the theater. When i want a frappe before the movie i would come here. Or if i want a frappe after a movie i would stop here. They also have a parking lot with lots of space so parking isn't an issue most of the time. VIBE The vibe in here i find it chill. i see some people bring their books and read because its quiet enough to read. they do have some comfy chairs to sit in. they also have a long table for you do your work as well. there is also some outdoor seating but it isn't big but there are a few tables, in other words outdoor seating is limited. SERVICE The service here is nice. The workers are friendly and helped my friends decide or describe whats all in their drinks. also the wait for the drinks is usually fast. The line goes fast as well so thats a plus. Overall i like coming here because i can get in and get out quick for my thirst quench. Love the location and parking too. Visited this location for the first time expecting decent service since this location was opened so recently, needless to say I was very disappointed. I've been working at Starbucks for roughly a year now, at a different location in the area, so I'm aware of the expectations in terms of customer service, and those were not upheld here whatsoever , I was denied my discount multiple times with attitude from the workers for no reason, this confused me since I was being respectful during the entire interaction. After being denied I asked to speak to the manager on shift and was met by a lady named "kizzy" I doubt this is her real name but it's what she has on her name tag. After explaining the situation to her, (a manger that presumably should be able to take care of situations such as this own) she showed me nothing but rude demeanor, and attitude. She also did not let me pay for my order with cash. She said that Starbucks as a franchise didn't accept 50$ bills, or 100$,s, I knew this wasn't true because I work at one lol, and we absolutely accept all cash payments. Even after giving her a card, (my third form of payment I had to get because of her rude customer service) she still made me feel uncomfortable and upset, I will not be returning to this location anymore, and would reccomend anybody to drive the extra 5 minutes to the Diablo location instead ". read more

Went in around 5:30 AM to pick up my mobile order. Wanted to put the sugars in myself. The barista gave me the sugars and the stir stick I asked for; she used a paper towel to pick up the stir stick. Very impressed with her. So why the one star rating? The manager came out to me as I put the sugars in my coffee and told me I couldn't do that in the store. She also said I could ask for them to put the sugars in when I placed my order. I explained the app doesn't let me request to have the sugars put in last, which is the way I like to do it. She even acknowledged they put them in first. She specifically told me I couldn't do it in the store, use the table and that's why the sign said I couldn't use the table. Very condescending tone and attitude when she spoke to me, and I hadn't said anything, didn't argue, make a scene, was wearing my mask over my nose and mouth, etc. The only thing I said was, "I'm only putting the sugars in my coffee." Followed by my explanation why I don't order it with sugars via their app. The signs on the tables say they are closed, which I've always understood to mean you can't sit at them, not that you can't set anything on them. Would she have come out if I set something on the table (my backpack or something like that) if I hadn't used the app, ordered in the store, and was waiting for my drink to be made? Maybe all the other Starbucks stores (and other companies, too) are doing it wrong, but I've never been told to not spend maybe a minute, if that, stopping to put sugars in my coffee inside a business. Oh, I also used the paper towel the barista gave me to set everything on as I added the sugars. The only thing touching their table was the paper towel they gave me. This is not for the man at the cash register who was obviously brand new and doing the best he could (despite the intensely annoying customer before me who not only didn't know what she wanted after standing in line for 5 min with the menu directly in front of her but then proceeded to change her order during our transaction) - that man was very nice and infinitely patient. This is for the disorganized people making the orders. Hollering out the drinks with no names (so we would all have to look at each other; "You?No? Maybe it's mine then." "But I was here first" sigh.. I had a multiple order and she called out one of my drinks and all of us waiting played our little game to be sure it was my drink. So I took my drink and then because I didn't run away fast enough she said loudly at me, "Byeeee! Have a nice day!" No, I am not just hanging out at the Starbuck' s drink pick-up counter for the ambience, or because I enjoy being elbowed in the ribs by old women. I'm not enjoying the free show starring Fumble and Bumble: Loud, Disorganized Baristas. I am here (obviously) because you have not finished my order. This location pretty much is what most people have come to expect from a Starbucks. Clean and organized store/restaurant. Friendly staff. Yummy Starbucks' goodness! My BFF and I usually go here to start off a day of 'venturing. Little caffeine and maybe a light breakfast before heading out. I have never had a truly bad experience but have noticed when they are super busy, the morale seems to go down and the staff seem to lose their rhythm so sometimes (not always) service might not be on par with what you expect. Thankfully this is not the norm, so we will continue using this as our meet up spot when venturing in the northern part of the Valley or beyond! read more

Again, this Starbucks across street from a movie theater! I was able get me a hot chocolate, I got me a medium Adult size instead Pediatric size! I had full display, no one in movie theater say anything! Wow! That nice them! I suggest any local person come to this Starbucks before or after your movie!
