I grabbed an iced latte and rocked out to the music that was blasting in the background. Def wake up moment! They open at 5a (I wasn't there that early, ha), and run until 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on Friday/Saturdays. I've been to a Dutch Bros before, but only the drive-thru, so I enjoyed the outdoor sit-down experience and biz model. Outside of my drink, I was intrigued by their seasonal offerings, shakes, chai latte, smoothies, sparkling sodas, and more. Food-wise, I love the idea of hand-held bites. You can grab a warmed chocolate chip muffin top, brekky slider, maple waffle, or coffee crumb cake to name a few. Service was awesome, and everything was quick and turn-key. This was my first time at this location and what I thought would be a quick drive through experience was almost immediately proven otherwise. I chose this location because it was the closest to me at the time. Drinks: 3/5 our blended drinks were very liquid where the ice was melted very fast. Ordering: 5/5 drive thru person was super friendly and nice. She is funny too, loved her. Took away points due to the initial experience driving in and confusion. Also for lack of signage and promotion of seasonal or temporary menu items. We didnt see the actual menu since the person taking the order was walking up to the cars to place orders. I noticed 2 signs as I drove in behind 2 other cars, and one employee came out to the vehicle to notify me that I drove in the exit. I was confused since I hadnt seen signage for entry/exit, the sign closest to the drive way said to not block traffic or to not stop in that red zone. As I sat in the drive through line, I then noticed the employee trying to direct new traffic away. They were telling folks to walk-up but that street is very busy and cars are zooming to where it was dangerous to have cars try to stop on the street for direction. Most cars did not listen and drove in anyway or drove off. Been going to Dutch Bros since they opened in Oakley like 10 years ago and am glad they opened one in Martinez and it's doing well. The service is always good, they have a positive attitude like In-N-Out and Chick-Fil-A. They always have enough employees taking orders if there are long lines, at least in my experience. As far as the ambience goes, it's nicely decorated like all Dutch Bros. It's takeout only, so nothing much to see other than a couple benches out front. I always get an iced coffee. Twas my first time at Dutch Bros and I am glad I gave it a go. I opted for the window instead of the drive though, but both lines were surprisingly short. Guess that's the benefit for early morning Java, because any other time it is jam packed. Ordered all three muffin tops and a hazelnut latte, the coffee was hot, delicious and not too sweet with just enough whip on the top. Dutch Bros is far for us, so when we know we're going to be in the vicinity of one we make time to visit one. We were heading to WC for the day so we went to the Martinez location, it's a little less out of the way than the Concord location. This one has a walk up window and that probably would have been a better option for us as the drive thru was pretty backed up. Anyhow 2 broristas finally came out to take orders. I ordered a golden eagle chai at the recommendation of D2. Kinda sweet for my liking, now I know. I'm not sure if I'm even a fan of Dutch Bros, but I do it for my kids. I was working in the area and during my meal break, I decided to give Dutch Bros a try. It's been a while since I been to one, and with the only location being in deep concord for me. I ordered on the App, but the time I went was pretty busy and I was in the line for about 10 minutes. I know it's not the worker's fault, but the drivers here are a but inconsiderate of each other. There are two lanes and the worker told me I would be behind "X car". But the neighboring car decided to pull ahead and mess up the line order and I can tell at the window the workers were a bit confused since they also follow the same Queue inputted by the ordering workers. But this is review should focus on the drinks now. Secret Menu (Blended Scarecrow): I heard golden eagle is a popular one, but I saw on the App of the secret menu. Scarecrow consists of Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut and Caramel. I added holiday sprinkles for texture. Overall, the drink was really good. Not too sweet but definitely can taste the sugar for those that are sensitive. The flavors all blended well together and the drink was blended to icy perfection for me. There wasn't any clumps of ice or anything of the sort. Lemon Poppyseed Muffintop: This was a good snack I had. It tasted exactly as described. Though it was a bit on the sweet side for me. Drove up to a drive thru line of 1 car to pick up my online order. I ended up getting trapped in line and waited for 9 minutes while the barista talked to the driver, who was clearly a friend. At one point, the friend made a comment about the line and the barista said loudly "I don't care," and laughed and looked at the line before asking if she could go on her 10 minute break. Out of all the locations I've ever been to, this one was a huge disaster. The drive through line is extremely long which clogs the entry and exit. I didn't even know how to get in the tiny lot for window pick up so I parked across the street. I was wondering why both the drive through line and the window line was so long and also not moving...turns out, they weren't getting anyone's mobile orders but didn't tell us! My app told me it would be ready in 10~ min. I walked over and stood there for about 45 minutes!! No update on the app, no communication from the workers. first things first; JORDAN DESERVES A RAISE!!! Overdue review but this was my favorite dutch bros I've been too so far. Dutch bros always get that reputation of workers being talkative, interactive and just overall good costumer service. However this location specifically made me want to write a review to shine light on their amazing costumer service, fast, yet still really good and actually clean cups, (other locations often speeds and the cups have whatever drink you ordered dripping on the cup or spilling out - making you ask for napkins) This location had our drinks READY and CLEAN as soon as we pulled up to the window. Jordan, the one who took our order that day, was really patient with me and my boyfriend looking through the menu and answering questions we had about their new seasonal drinks. He was even really sweet about me asking for a sticker! I usually always ask if dutch bros has stickers (they usually release stickers on Wednesday mornings) and I either get a crazy look or told that they open early so they wouldn't have any during the evenings. (which is definitely understandable!!) I just really appreciated how Jordan actually took the time to follow up with the front for me to see if they had any left over. We didn't know about Dutch Bros coffee until we did a Yelp for coffee around Hercules. It's only a few miles from Hercules and we took HWY 4. It's very easy to find using our maps app. Driving to the store, we noticed a drive-thru and opted for that service. There was quite a line and the Service was very slow. We noticed an attendant taking orders with her iPad and approaching cars that were in the queue. However, she didn't approach us and we ended up at the window and the clerk took our order. We had to wait in our car until the order was completed. The only negative I can say is the drive-thru line. I had the ANNIHILATOR which is an Espresso & Chocolate Macadamia Nut. It's good and I can taste the chocolate and the macadamia. I enjoyed this hot coffee and I loved the flavor. I will come again and try their other beverages. read more

It's been two month since I found this location and reviewed last, still my favorite coffee place to go to. My once a week adventure to Martinez to get some Dutch Bros. Although the small parking lot and long drive thru lines at times( they have staff to try to make the drive thru efficient and safe when it is backed up)the staff are friendly from the order takers that take your order thru the window and drive thru, the broristas, and the staff at the drive thru window ( you are amazing at what you do). The ambiance is more of a drive up and go, there is a limit to sit outside, but overall it's order and go enjoy your drinks. They also have muffin tops that are huge and delicious. Dutch Bros is one of my favorite coffee places when I want to treat myself to a sweet coffee drink. The only problem is this is what we find ourselves saying every time we think about going there "I want Dutch Bros, but don't have 45 min". And it's not an exaggeration. I have timed this. The average wait is 30 min - 45 min. At first, I thought it was because they were new, but even having been there a couple years already, it still takes forever to order and get your drink. Service is always friendly and the drinks are always delicious, but we skip it because we just don't have the time to wait that long for coffee. read more

Today marks the end of one many drink goals of mine here at Dutch Bros: trying every single Frost, now known as Shakes, as possible. If you're a shakes person, this one is for you. I've been coming here since before the grand opening. All the Broista's (this is how Dutch Bros refers to their employees) here are very friendly and welcoming. I've gotten to know a few of them over the years, and they recognize and remember me whenever they see me stop by, especially since I always wear my Dutch Bros merch. An old classmate of mine even works here. I always make sure to order from the walk-up window, which is one of the best ways to get to know the Broista's. The drive-through is obviously a much faster pace, trying to get cars in and out as quickly as possible so it doesn't back out onto the street (which is never fun for anyone). The growth of Dutch Bros has been amazing to see, both as a business and stock-wise. This is coming not just from a regular customer, but an investor in the company. Do note that this is not financial advice, and I am not a financial advisor. It's extremely rare to ever be let down during a visit here. The only time that happens is when they run out of stickers, or whatever is being handed out, which again, is extremely rare and has probably only happened to me once or twice in the years I've been coming here. I always make sure to go early to secure my stickers, etc. and beat the large lines. Fun fact, this is one of, if not the busiest, stand in the company. And now.. for my favorite frosts (shakes).. in no particular order. Love it: Strawberry, Cotton Candy, Red White & Blue, Tuxedo, Trifecta, Pumpkin Pie (seasonal), Ba-Nay-Nay, Dinosaur Egg, Dutch Canyon, Jelly Donut, Chocolate, Lucky Mint Good: Bubblegum, Midnight, Fire Lizard, Coral Reef, Banana Split, Freedom, Banana Cream Pie, Marmalade, Grasshopper, Starry Night, Majestic Forest (tastes similar to Starry Night), Snickerdoodle, White Zombie, Stop Light, Astronaut, Trixie, Pink Flamingo, Ray of Sunshine, Birthday Cake, Unicorn Blood, Palm Tree, Vanilla Bean You can't go wrong with any of these. While these favorites are my own personal opinion, you are bound to find one you'll like, especially any of the drinks I've listed as ones that I love. On to the next set of drinks.
