How can I give this place 6 stars? Everything I consumed was fabulous!…read more The kolache with the mild sausage was heated wonderfully--the bread was soft and sweet, the meat and cheese tasty. The brown sugar coffee milk (or tea milk?) with coffee boba was a real treat. Loved it! I took home a cronut--DELICIOUS!!! Serious home run. I also took home a chocolate covered red velvet cake donut which is tasty. My friend got an apple fritter and she kept raving about how great it was. She loved the crispy texture and wonderful flavor. This little local donut shop IS DOING IT RIGHT!

I think Raytown has a sweet tooth. There's so many local bakeries and donut shops concentrated in…read morethis area. But I'm here for all of them which includes the newest addition - Le Donuts. Just a door or two down from Hy vee on 350, this donut shop is clean, and bright and a case full of delicious donuts. The staff are friendly. They have long johns, pinecone, twists along with donut holes and donuts with holes. No gluten free but they also serve breakfast Sammy and biscuits and gravy. On the beverage side, they have a case full of juice and milk. But you can also order coffee, lattes, bubble tea, milk teas and more. No milk alternative options. The pine one donut was buttery and delicious. The chocolate long John was light as air. Some have compared them to Lamar's. If you are in Raytown, you should give it a try.

I've eaten here multiple times, and I have to push back on the "cafeteria burger" claim. These…read morepatties are clearly fresh, hand-formed, and cooked to order nothing like the frozen, pre formed disks from a school lunch line. If yours tasted bland, maybe you missed that this place leans into fresh ingredients over drowning everything in sauces. Not every burger needs mayo or mustard; some let the beef and toppings speak for themselves. As for the soggy bottom bun yes, fresh veggies release moisture. That happens in seconds anywhere if you don't eat quickly. But calling the whole experience "meh" while admitting you're going back for breakfast? That tells me the place clearly has redeeming qualities. You even said burger preferences are subjective, yet your review reads like an objective takedown. Bottom line: If you want a greasy, sauce slathered chain burger, go to Five Guys. If you want a solid, no-frills non chain burger with good service and plenty of seating (as you noted), this place delivers. And clearly, you agree it's worth a second visit.

We were on the hunt for a really good, non-chain burger. After looking at reviews, we decided to…read moregive this place a try. Service was good. It is not a big place, but plenty of seating. When it came to the food, it was meh at best. We got the jalapeno burger and the avocado burger. The patties are reminiscent of cafeteria burgers in school. There was no mayo or mustard or any type of sauce on them. The bottom bun was soggy shortly after being served, likely due to the veggies. Needless to say, we did not get our burger fix. So we won't come here again for that. Burger preferences are subjective, so just because it wasn't for us doesn't mean you can't try for yourself. We do plan to go back to try the breakfast items though.
