You kind of have to know what you want before going because they don't have a menu with everything you can order and the staff come to your car to take your order before you can see a menu. Aside from the fact it was poorly designed to start with, the drive thru went so long that it BLOCKED the neighboring business's parking lot. And while I know that is not Dutch Bro's fault (it's the stupid drivers), they should still have some type of traffic control in place so that this doesn't happen. I've always loved Dutch Bros, it was my go to coffee spot during my high school years in Carson City. This would be my first time at this location. I stopped by here before heading to work on a Saturday morning for some pick me ups for myself and coworkers. I thought it'd slow down around 10am, but the drive through line was all the way out to the street. It was packed and I did wait for a while. However, there were a couple girls going through each car for their orders, to keep the line moving. Even with the small area, they made it work. Staff were so nice and accommodating. The wait wasn't so bad either. I got 4 large drinks: birthday cake mocha, golden eagle latte, iced cocomo, and blended vanilla latte. They were delicious! But... Can I start off saying that I completely understand why their line is always at least 10 cars? The workers have always been cheerful and fast workers thoigh and that line may look long but you rarely notice the wait as you choose your drink from their countless selection of yummy drinks. Plud the wait is so short for so many cars. Yesterday was my favorite visit though and i can't help but write a review. My nana briefly mentioned to the young lady taking our order that it was my birthday and she was so sweet! She excitedly told us i got a free birthday drink, and told me hapoy birthday. I ordered my medium drink hand blended. When I got it, it wasn't hand blended so I asked if It could be remade. I usually never complain at drink or food places but I just wanted my drink how I ordered it. The person at the window said whoever took my order "didn't hear" me saying hand blended so If I wanted a new drink I had to buy it. The people at the window were also rude. Dutch brothers has opened a second location in Reno! I have always been a fan of Dutch Bros. Coffee, so I was delighted to see that there is finally one in our area. Today we ordered an eclipse black iced tea, a horchata latte, and two cafe americanos; one with sugar free vanilla flavoring. The total came to just over $10 for all, and each of us were delighted with our drink. Not only is their awesome coffee reasonably priced, but their customer service is great as well. So today I was up and at the gym by 5:30am (pause for ultra-virtuous pat on the back, thanks). The parking lot was oddly dark - I double-checked gym hours and discovered that doors open at 8:00am on weekends. THANKS, GYM. Dutch Bros Coffee I'd driven by Dutch Bros a few times in the late afternoon, and sort of gave it a miss after judging that it reminded me of a latter-day Mel's diner (like the one in American Graffiti, not the franchise). Obviously in the pre-dawn hours beggars can't be choosers, and I pushed aside my assumptions and pulled into the drive-thru for a coffee. To my surprise and delight, the experience was delightful! The kids on duty were friendly and quick with a double-shot, welcomes me as aSan Francisco transplant, and gave me a tip on where to see good shows in Reno (the Holland Project, tbd). There was plenty of stuff on the menu, but I stuck with my espresso, leaving a broader experience for a later date. The espresso, btw, was on point. Rich and dynamic with a perfectly sweet cream. Yum yum yum. I'm so happy I gave Dutch Bros a shot! (A tiny pun - all apologies). I'm always happy to support small businesses, especially when they hold up the ideal of small or family owned businesses (this one is both) giving you an extra-awesome experience. Worst DB I've seen/been to. Visited Aug 24, 2022 at 10:20. Employees standing in the drive through lane not paying attention to cars trying to pull in, and then getting drink order wrong. Cars were waiting past the window because drinks were taking too long, and as we pulled into the window were surprised to see a ton of employees inside, maybe half of which were working, the other half watching or dancing or whatever it was they were doing. I understand DB fosters a fun and youthful culture, but this looked like a group of kids just hanging out while making the occasional drink. If I could give this zero stars I would. First of all the "no waiting" doesn't even make sense. We should be reimbursed for the gas we spent circling the block. With all the cars circling around DB it looked like the circus came to town. To top it off the prepubescent "security" was less helpful than a chip on the sidewalk. If ordering sugar free flavors ask them to triple or quadruple the syrup. Has a sugar free drink today and it tasted like coffee with a little creamer and no flavor or sweetness at all. Gonna make an exception to my own rule of trying to not review chains, since I was so thrilled when Dutch Bros finally opened in Reno. I have to say, they are probably my favorite coffee chain, and it has been too long in coming waiting for them to arrive in our city. Like pretty much all their other locations, this is definitely more of a coffee-stand than a coffee-shop, with their focus being on fast and friendly service. You either walk up to the window or use the drive through, and lightning quick, they get your drink out so you can get on with your day. Let's also be clear here; their coffee is pretty much solely espresso-based. You get all your variation of drinks therein, but don't expect to just get a regular cup-o-joe from the drip maker. So if you aren't a fan of those, you might be a bit let down here. However, their prices are definitely cheaper than those of the 'Green-Giant' of coffee chains, and their sizes are more impressive, too. I brought to Dutch Bros my "large" reusable mug I had gotten from said previous chain, and it turned out that here it was only a "medium" sized iced drink. So great value all around for what is pretty good coffee. In addition to coffee, the drink menu also includes teas, hot chocolates, and other drinks as you would expect for a cafe. There are a couple food selections here, mostly just snacks and whatnot like muffin tops, granola bars, and other bagged items. Perhaps the only big downside to this place has to do with the parking and drive through lane. Now, I get it, this is a small lot, and they had to build it as best they could to try and accommodate traffic patterns. But just giving you all a word of warning that the lot is small, and if the drive through is full-up (as it is likely to be) it can stretch out into the side street, and make it difficult both to turn out of the lot, as well as into it. But this is really the only big downside I have with this location. I will close out with perhaps the biggest perk of not only this location, but all of the Dutch Bros; the service. Wow, I am not sure if they have found a way to condense cheerfulness so their staff can drink it, but the company does an amazing job trying to encourage their staff to have fun at work, to be upbeat and helpful, and to ensure the customers share in the positive experience. Really top marks on this, guys! The service and the quality of their drinks really ensure that I will keep coming by for my morning perk-up. Cheers, guys! read more

I will admit I used to be a fiend for Starbucks. Than Dutch Brothers entered my life (built one right next to my office). Now I will earn you everyone they hire seems to be overly happy to be there at all times. This can make your Monday morning on the way to work stop a little rough. But the coffee and chai is delicious. I prefer the white coffee drinks out of all of the drinks for my morning pick me up. In the afternoon I like to grab one of their rebel drinks iced.
