This is a good old fashioned burger served on a delicious bun. Despite being close to campus, there are a variety of people who frequent this restaurant. I appreciate that there is parking behind the building and that the service is always great. Having TVs is also a plus if you're looking for a place to watch a game. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Also, get a cookie! You won't regret it.

Burgers hit the spot after the TCU game! The burgers were juicy, full of flavor, large and the toppings and buns were delicious! Fries were great too. We also had 2 chocolate chip cookies and the family loved them! This could easily become a regular stop after games!

This place impressed me on my first visit, and I definitely plan to return. Parking was a bit tricky; the lot in the back was full, but I managed to find a spot out front. The interior has a unique and welcoming vibe, with plenty of seating options, including high-top and low tables. To the left, there's a bar area and plenty of TVs, perfect for catching sports--I'll definitely come back to soak in that atmosphere while enjoying more great food. The customer service was good as well no complaints very friendly and welcoming. I tried the nachos, which were delicious, and the burgers were a standout. I had the bacon Swiss mushroom burger with added avocado. My only critique is that the buns were a bit on the sweet side, but overall, it was still a tasty meal. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu on my next visit. It was well worth the drive!

Dutch burgers are fire! Ordered the bacon swiss mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. I'm not one to pay $18+ for a burger and fries. Plus, there's no drink included unless you get the small meal deal. I'm sure you can upgrade a meal, but I didn't ask. The burger reminded me of the burger joint that was across from runaway mountain at Six Flags Over Texas. I wish I ordered another burger and passed on the trio platter. The onion rings were hard. The fried mushrooms made me nauseated for some reason. The fried pickles were ok. They have a tray full of chocolate chip cookies next to the checkout counter. The cookie was delicious! Customer service was professional and there's a college football vibe. Next visit I'll try their ice cream, melt, and salad.

Stick with the burgers. That being said the buns are dense and sweet, but the beef and toppings are done very well and flavorful. The crispy chicken salad was unappealing when presented. The chicken was dry and over cooked, the plate was messy with greasy finger prints on it and other drips, hard boiled eggs cut side down, and the candied pecans were dredged in powdered sugar. Appetizers were good. The nailed the chedder peppers and jalapeno and onion straws they had a good heat and flavor. If you are coming for beer and appetizers you wont be disappointed.

Amazing burgers. Big, juicy burger patty seasoned and cooked to perfection. They use a bun that's very similar to Hawaiian rolls, so it adds a unique sweetness to the sandwich. There is a nice variety of burgers to choose from. Over the years I think I've tried each of them at least once, and I haven't had a bad meal here. The fries are also done well with a slightly crispy exterior and a soft, starchy center. Tuesdays are half price burgers. It's a killer deal and feels unreal when you look at your meal and you look at what you paid for it. They also have a bar, salads, and a few dessert options. The interior is decorated well with TCU theme because it's right across the street from TCU. Floors do seem like they are always sticky, flies are sometimes inevitable, and parking is the worst, but these things are not egregious enough for me to knock down a star.

We went after the TCU football game at the recommendation of my husband's coworker. You order at the counter in the back of the restaurant. There's also a bar in the middle and a burrito place on the other side (my daughter opted for a burrito). We sat & waited for our order. One your name is called, you pick it up from where you ordered. Everything was good. No complaints.. everyone at all their food... even the two kiddos. I'd definitely eat here again when in the area.

Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The next time, I will definitely look to try the Radio Goat - every purchase supports KERA, the local NPR station!

It's a seat-yourself restaurant, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. There are lots of burger options to choose from, so there's something for just about everyone. One suggestion would be to add a dedicated toppings section to the menu. When building your own burger, it's difficult to know all of the available topping choices. The only downside to our visit was that there was a very large dog dining inside the restaurant. The staff allowed the dog's water bowl to be placed on the table, and while the dog remained on a leash, several employees stopped to pet it before returning to refill drinks, deliver food, or check on guests. That wasn't something I was comfortable with and took away from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Apparently they are a former food truck that now runs the kitchen inside of Crystal Springs Hideaway. I ended up sitting at the bar with the Lindas (there were three of them). It was early in the day so I did not join them for a drink, I was just getting out to try something new and support the North Texas Food Bank. The special for burger week was the Zaddy which came with pickled red onion, lettuce, goat cheese, fresh jalapenos and raspberry jam on a potato bun. Their burgers are 1/4 and unfortunately the meat got completely lost under so much going on. Goat cheese and raspberry are powerful flavors and the jalapeno slices were thicker than the patty. I didn't even taste the pickled red onions. The very last bite was more meat than topping and I could actually taste the beef. It is a shame because it was really good. The quality of the meat and the sear on the burger were well done. Their regular priced burgers range from $10.50 to $14, and sides are extra. It is pretty steep for a 1/4 lb burger, and I would suggest something with a bit less flair.
