If you're craving fresh Mediterranean food in Brea, D'Vine is always a great choice. We've been to D'Vine Mediterranean Experience several times and it's always a great experience. The atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, and the colorful mosaic tables and Mediterranean decor make it feel like a little Mediterranean escape right in the middle of Brea. This visit we started with the hummus and pita, which is always a must for us. The hummus is incredibly smooth and creamy with a drizzle of olive oil, and the warm pita bread makes it the perfect starter. For the main dish we ordered the chicken plate with rice and vegetables, which was full of flavor. The chicken was grilled perfectly -- juicy, well seasoned, and paired really well with the rice and fresh sautéed vegetables. We also tried the Almaza Pilsner, a Lebanese beer that went great with the meal and was a nice change from the usual options. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The service is always friendly and timely, and the overall experience is consistently great. If you're looking for fresh Mediterranean food with great flavors and a welcoming atmosphere in Brea, D'Vine should definitely be on your list

Beef Kebab with grape leaves

Very clean and friendly restaurant with quick service. We ordered the cauliflower as the appetizer and it was delicious. It wasn't greasy or heavy. I ordered the beef kebab and it was tender. My friend ordered the lamb plate. Omg. It was sooooo good! I don't like lamb but this restaurant changed my mind. It was not gamy at all. I highly recommend the lamb. I must come back for the lamb!!!!!

Just tried D'Vine out and am in love! I'm really not a big lamb fan but this place made me one. The lamb chops and lamb kabobs are both juicy and have a light char flavor from the grill. My usual favorite, steak kabob, they also make very juicy and tender. Rice is addicting, and I love the baba ganoush, it's legit so airy and creamy from being whipped and the light smokiness is so refreshing and not overbearing. Really appreciate how many side dish options there are though and look forward to trying others. Lastly, have to call out the chicken shwerma pita pocket; that juicy flavorful meat is so satisfying and they give a great portion and the pickles balance it out and brightens up the overall dish. Servers are also fast and super attentive so great if you want either a quick dining experience or stay longer and enjoy.

Double Shawarma

Food was delicious. We got the double wrap that the server said that serves one person but it definitely is a 2 person meal. And the chicken shawarma was great with the garlic sauce on the side, and the tabbouleh was amazing. With the heaviness, a little bit of acidity goes a long way. If I had to reorder the double shawarma, I would maybe sub the fries with the tabbouleh because of how heavy and rich the wrap was. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of how hot the restaurant was. They opened all the doors but no AC. It almost was unpleasant to eat because of how hot it was. Hopefully that changed but otherwise food was great if you can ignore the heat.

Kefta plate with cucumber yogurt, rice, and pita bread

Came on a weeknight so there wasn't a wait. There were indoor and outdoor seating but it was a cold night so I opted for indoor and sat at the bar. Ordered their falafel for appetizer which was nice and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Their kefta plate was delicious, and came with a hefty pile of rice, cucumber yogurt, and a perfectly toasted pita bread. The chicken shawarma was also good, but I'm used to it being sliced vs cubed like here. Service was friendly.

Sea bass with spicy hummus

Came here on a Sunday and it wasn't busy. We came when they opened. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the sea bass with spicy hummus, lamb chop with beet salad, and beef kebob with cucumber yogurt salad. The foods came out shortly and the serving was in a good size. The entrees came with a big portion of rice and the garlic sauce (really good). The foods were tasty and warm. Pricing was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Gosh, I really love some good Mediterranean food! Dvine Mediterranean Experience in Brea met all of my expectations. The food is delicious! You can tell it is all very fresh, made to order. The hummus had a nice flavor and wasn't too overpowering. It complimented the fried falafels nicely. I did add extra protein to my falafel plate. The shrimp that I added, was cooked very well. It had a good flavor and added more protein to the meal. I enjoyed the flavor of their rice too. Addicting really! Even my husband said the rice was so good haha Service was good for a to-go order. We got condiments, napkins and everything we needed. The order was packaged up well too. I'd say this was a huge win for mediterranean food. I will order for this place again!

Chicken shawarma with rice, baba ghanoush, pita bread, and garlic sauce

My husband and I had a lovely time here on a Monday evening. We've frequented this plaza multiple times, but just now stepped into Dvine. Right away, we were greeted with a friendly smile and given the option to sit where we wanted. I ordered the chicken shawarma with baba ghanoush while my husband ordered the kefta entrée. The food came out in a timely manner and we were impressed by the first bite! My chicken was so juicy and tender, full of flavor! The seasoning in the rice complimented the chicken well and I absolutely loved the garlic sauce. I could order a whole plate of that haha. My husband enjoyed his kefta, which is ground beef and lamb. He shared that he could taste the freshness and quality of all the ingredients that were used. We had such a wonderful first time experience and are already talking about the next time we're able to dine in again. I'll also let my sister know and take her here soon because she enjoys Mediterranean food. We ended the night trying their baklava and loved the texture. It was flaky, a good amount to share, and slightly sweet. We highly recommend Dvine and are excited to eat here again soon!

Great food and service! Clean restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the pita bread with hummus for an appetizer. Their hummus is homemade. The texture was so silky and smooth, it was the perfect appetizer. For my entree, I ordered the chicken shawarma plate that comes with rice, pita bread, and your choice of 1 side. I chose the cucumber yogurt for my side. The plate also came with garlic sauce that complemented the chicken shawarma so well. The food was fresh and healthy. I will be returning again and I highly recommend!

Awesome place to dine when craving for Mediterranean food. Top notch food and service that will immediately bring out the joy of dining. Love their soft "mouth-watering" chicken shawarma and delightful lamb kebab, and my son digs their crunchy falafel and delicious hummus. Would highly recommend to my friends and fellow Yelpers!

Decided to grab dinner after work out and passed by this little place. We were able to grab a table before large crowds. Love the music they played and then the dishes were amazing: chicken was moist and tasty; lamb kabobs medium was juicy! Overall, I enjoyed their foods and service.

New Mediterranean food spot unlocked ! My boyfriend and I had Dvine Mediterranean in Brea and I'm so glad we decided to chose this for our lunch. We got two plates: - Chicken Shawarma Plate - Beef Shawarma Plate. Parking was super easy to find -- this establishment is located in a large plaza with lots of parking. We ordered takeout and got our food in 10 minutes. The food was packed with flavor and both proteins were delicious. My fav is their rice -- SUPER smooth and buttery. The portion size were very big -- literally ate this for lunch and dinner this day LOL I will be back soon :-)

The last time I reviewed this place was in 2021, when outdoor only covid restrictions were still in place. Since then, we have still been coming here regularly and enjoying both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is always wonderful. The food is spectacular. We love the sumac onions and cheese fatayer. The chicken and beef shawarma are both so flavorful. We also love the kefta. I love lamb and enjoy the tenderloin pieces and the chop. My favorite drink is still the shot of arak with soda water and a lime. My husband loves the Mediterranean cooler. We will always be loyal to this spot.

Here my go to is usually the lamb Jairo or the lamb chops but lately I've been trying to try different things. I am happy I chose to do this as I have found items that I have loved that I just hadn't tried. I had this year tuna one day and it was really good. It was perfectly cooked and it had a good sauce but the one item that I was honestly surprised was the half roasted chicken. I tend not to order chicken at restaurants because I am worried that the chicken will be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was really good and I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to switch dishes, but I absolutely did not allow him to. The chicken was just very juicy and tender. For the sides, I used to always get hummus, but I didn't know that they had an eggplant dip similar to baba ghanoush. Now that I have tried it, it is my go to. You can really taste a roasted eggplant in there and the texture is similar to hummus. My other go to side are the artichoke hearts because they are so big they are roasted and it's a good portion. Overall this remains to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I will be back.

But the Olive Pit isn't going to wow you as much as some of the best Greek restaurants in SoCal.

My friend and I had lunch on the patio and waited a solid 30 minutes just to get water. The service was painfully slow and careless; tables around us were left uncleaned, and when our food arrived, we had no utensils. After asking the food runner and waiting around while our meals got cold, my friend finally had to get up and track down silverware herself. When the waiter finally acknowledged us, he literally threw the utensils onto the table. Then, when we asked for extra napkins, he actually put his hand up to block us and just walked away. I was so shocked by the blatant rudeness that I called for the manager. While the manager apologized and gave us a free dessert, a sweet treat doesn't fix a total lack of professionalism. If employees hate being there that much, they shouldn't be working in hospitality! Management is also to blame by keeping them employed. When reading some of the other reviews, seems like service is really lacking here and the waiters have major attitude problems. The food is always great, but this type of behavior and level of disrespect makes me never want to come back. I will take my money elsewhere.

The flavors on the food are nothing to scoff at either. The hummus, tabbouleh, and beef skewer are absolute hits. Flavorful bites with the perfect amount of balance between the acidity of the tabbouleh, the light and rich hummus, and the meatiness of the beef. The shrimp skewer is tasty as well but not something I think I'd get again. The rice pairs well with everything, and as I've mentioned before, the humongous pita they give you is delicious as well. Buffet Lovers May Enjoy This One, But It Wasn't Quite Our Flavor…read more Hubby and I were on the hunt for a new spot to try and stumbled upon this Mediterranean buffet while browsing Yelp. First things first -- plenty of parking in the plaza, so no need to circle around hunting for a spot. We arrived around 3:30 PM, and since weekday lunch pricing is $21.99 per person from 11 AM-4 PM, we were pleasantly surprised when the hostess kindly allowed us to stay through the transition until 4:30 PM before dinner pricing kicked in. That was definitely appreciated! The ambience is what you'd expect from a buffet: open, spacious, and filled with plenty of tables for larger groups and families. Now onto the food... One thing I really enjoyed was the impressive selection of appetizers and dips. There were several varieties of hummus including spicy hummus, avocado hummus, baba ghanoush, along with a sauce station featuring tahini, tzatziki, and garlic sauce. If you're a dip-and-spread person, you'll probably be pretty happy here. They also had multiple rice options and a variety of proteins. Most of the selections consisted of different styles of chicken, along with fried fish and grilled fish. I believe the lamb shank is only offered during dinner service or on weekends, so unfortunately we missed out on that. As for the food itself, this is where the experience became a little mixed for us. While there were certainly a lot of choices, many of the dishes felt surprisingly similar, and overall the food lacked the bold Mediterranean flavors we were hoping for. Most items were fairly mild and a bit bland for our taste. Nothing tasted bad, but very little stood out enough to make us want to go back for seconds. For dessert, they offered baklava, pistachio rice pudding, and a few other sweet treats, which was a nice way to end the meal. Service, however, was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, so I'd easily give the service 5/5 stars. Overall, I landed at 3 out of 5 stars. I appreciate the buffet concept, the variety, and the wonderful service, but for hubby and me, flavor is king. Unfortunately, the food just didn't have enough seasoning or wow factor to make us want to return for a second visit. If you're looking for a Mediterranean buffet with lots of options, it may be worth trying once and deciding for yourself. Happy eats!
