I made an order for delivery three days ago. I'm in Brea. The meat (filet mignon) I ordered was excellent with the exception being green olives and other random veggies which I do not eat, that were on top of three pieces of meat. Gross. The rice tasted horrible and looks like it was dumped from a grocery store microwave container which I'm sure it was. The hummus which was not hummus, was just a small portion of I don't know what? The pita bread was as dry as a grocery store pita, which I'm sure thats where its coming from. For $50.00, I got $5.00 per bite of meat. The rest went into the trash. Yucky food. I have been eating Persian and Arab food all of my life with never a disappointment. Avoid this place. It's Le pew. read more

I had an enjoyable dinner here this week. They have a small selection of beer and wine so I grabbed a local beer while reading the menu. I asked for the cold combo appetizer, but rather than the Mediterranean salad which has lettuce and cucumbers, etc. could I have the tabouli. They were very happy to accommodate and so I ordered this, with two pieces of pita. The baba ghanouj had fantastic flavor, and hummus was very light, and super smooth, the texture is so much better than what you see in the grocery store. The tabouli was good, but could use more lemon. I intended to have leftovers for the following day and certainly did - this appetizer would be plenty for three people to share. I rarely get kibbeh where I live, so wanted to order here. These were very well executed, perfectly crisp, big and filling - 2 came home with me. I ordered a side of tuom (garlic sauce) to eat with them. For those not familiar, this is a raw garlic emulsion so it is super strong but so wonderful if you're a garlic lover. Service was excellent. I was one of only two dining tables while I was there, but a steady stream of people came through picking up food. I will come back to try the lentil soup, which the waitress said was wonderful, and take advantage of some of the less expensive pita sandwiches that are offered only for lunch. read more

Say what you'd like, maybe you prefer another place, but this is my favorite for a lot of reasons than just the food. The food is great, you can't go wrong with anything you order here. Staff is amazing, the chef's get it right. It's a place that feels cozy to be in and they never will make a mistake. Never regret coming to Dvine! The food is what always keeps me coming back. They really have the main staples and it always tastes fresh, quality, and authentic. Their service is solid and it comes out on time. Some highlights I love is the outdoor seating and the ambiance, they really do a good job making it a pleasant experience. My only knock would maybe be the pricing, it does teeter my satisfaction when it comes to portions and pushes the wallet a little. Homg this place is never packed and it makes no sense! Food is great and I would say the service is even better. You always get a very warm welcome upon entering and so many seating options. Came here for lunch today.I ordered the Pita plate. Came with lamb, pita, rice, , and a side of yogurt. I thought the price was fair for what I got. On a positive note it was very filling. I was stuffed when I left. The service was also very good. On a negative note the lamb was just so-so. I have had much better at other restaurants. The rest of the meal was good. Would I come back. Probably not as I think there are other restaurants where the lamb is much more flavorful. read more

Do I think Dvine is better than those restaurants down in Little Arabia? Probably not, but the food is good, the service is good, and the ambiance is nice and relaxing as well! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate with Mediterranean salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, and cabbage tossed in a lemony dressing). The chicken was cooked well, and the portion size of the salad was very generous as well. It comes with a nice portion of rice and some pita bread. Overall not much more you can ask for. The falafels were crispy, a little earthy, and served with some delicious toum. Definitely worth trying as an appetizer. Restaurant: There are many restaurants in the area, as well as a large Target so parking does get full here. But after a few laps around the parking lot usually something opens up. Inside the restaurant is a nice and relaxing ambiance that even includes a side patio. Our new go to Mediterranean spot! I got the chicken kebab plate with hummus and my fiance got the chicken shawarma plate with spicy hummus. Everything was so good, we were impressed. The rice was some of the best rice we've had and hummus was so fresh and tasted homemade. I preferred the chicken shawarma (seasoning was so good) over the chicken kebab (nicely grilled but chicken breast just tends to be a bit more dry and less flavorful, although paired well with the garlic sauce). I also preferred the spicy hummus to the regular hummus - more flavor and not really spicy. I think next time I'd get a salad side over the hummus since I was lacking that freshness in the meal. But overall we loved the food and service. We will definitely be back! read more

Divine, you seriously need to help the wait staff ! One server for the entire lunch crowd (plus a lady trying to help him) - we felt for him . I took my chicken pita to go, and sadly ended tossing it at home because the chicken chunks were so completely dry and overcooked. Went for a bday reservations for 9, set up for 8 and had water spilled all over trying to accommodate us The yellow soup was delicious, as were the "fries"- really delicious.
