I love Dyezz. John treats me like a friend. They are competitive and do great work. Even up graded my system for free. Im now on a cell system instead or relying on internet connection. Just so you know I am a real person - the only complaint I've eve had is that the tech's ladder left marks on the wood floors that required a little elbow grease to get out. It's going on two months now, and I don't know how much longer I can handle this. We initially contracted them to install security cameras around our house and to put in an alarm system. We also opted for some upgraded equipment like the thermostat, door locks, and garage door opener we could control with our phones. I'll start with the cameras. Despite having very clear pictures of where the cameras were supposed to be installed, they were put up wrong, and I'm talking like on the other side of the garage wrong, not just a few feet to the left of where I wanted. They fixed this, but then I was left with holes drilled in the eaves of my house that they promised they would fix. "Oh, we've got a guy that works on million dollar homes. Don't worry. We'll get you taken care of," is what I was told. Nothing has been done. Nothing has been scheduled. I've called multiple times only to be passed off to a different person each time because whoever was handling it before "is no longer in that position." Then there is the garage door sensor. We were told we could get the integrated system just like we have with the thermostats. After multiple service calls, we were finally told that our garage door opener isn't compatible, that the original guy to tell us that should have known that and not told us it was an option. This is, of course, after we have already paid for it. They told us they'd make it right, give us a discount on our monthly bill. We still haven't seen that. I should have known after my original experience with them... After originally sending a salesman out that told us we could easily install a camera in our young childrens' room, they sent another out who said that was incorrect. He told me that it would have been obvious had he gone into the attic and then took one look at me (and my cane), and said, "and obviously you can't go up there." I'm sorry, but who are you to know what I can and can't do with my disability? It has been two months with no resolution. I was waiting to review, holding out hope that they would make this right, perhaps fix the holes that are all over my eaves that they just slapped tacky plates over like they promised. Maybe they would reduce my bill the promised amount since I am paying for a garage door sensor I do not currently have. After calling (again) two weeks ago and last week again, I'm afraid I'm about to give up. ***Update***About two weeks after I wrote this and after multiple calls (Dyezz: "Oh, our guy hasn't contacted you?), I finally got the holes in my eaves fixed. For a man that "works on million dollar homes," his work leaves something to be desired, as do his business practices. He does not return calls, show up when he says he will, etc. He expected me to have the paint for the exterior of the house and looked very put out when I explained I didn't have any. In the end, the holes were fixed, but it's a shoddy job at best. I'm just done. I can't handle the stress of dealing with it all anymore--the multiple calls and appointments. They've finally worn me down. Oh, but they did reduce my monthly bill by $8 once I brought it to their attention since I never received the garage door openers, so there is that. read more

I recently went with Dyezz Surveillance to install 3 camera around my house. Everyone I dealt with at Dyezz is extremely professional and courteous! The installer came out to install the cameras a couple of days after I decided to go with Dyezz. He was very knowledgeable and made sure the wires were all hidden away. One my camera's was messed up and the next day Dyezz call me up to reschedule and fix the camera. When the installer came out the fix the camera I had him hook it all up to my router (which allows you to watch via smart phone or computer). I love being able to see my house and check on everything even when I'm not home. My parents also enjoy it because they watch us playing with our son in the backyard which makes them feel like they are here with us. I would definitely highly recommend Dyezz to anyone that is looking to install security to their home!! read more

I have used this company for a while, I have never complained about it. Their monthly payment is very affordable but their service call is expensive. Their customer service is not so great either. I have asked for the quote for the glass sensor but I have never heard from them. I had a new security guy came by and checked out my system. He noticed that the window sensors in my master bathroom weren't active!? Really?! Oh, one more thing. A Dyezz guy tried to come by to fix my system after I cancelled the service. Weird! I found Dyezz online as I was searching for monitoring companies in the Austin Area for our business. I received quotes for 4 other places and Dyezz was next to the lowest but after reading the reviews I decided to go with them. I've had their service for almost 2 years and since I've added 1 additional camera to my system. They have outstanding customer service as I've had a few times where I did not know how to operate my system to retrieve information and this last time my DVR system was acting weird so I emailed them late that night, after 7pm and I received updated emails that same evening and they were here first thing the next morning and resolved the problem quickly. I recently used Dyezz for a home surveillance and security system. The installation and sales people from Dyezz were professional and courteous, which is actually rare these days in most industries. I only give them 4 stars (instead of five) because of punctuality and because it took them three visits to get everything up and running correctly, and this was frustrating. I can understand one extra visit, but two was annoying. As another reviewer noted, there was also confusion on their scheduling in which the scheduler told up they'd arrive between 8-10 and the installer said he was told a much later time. He eventually showed up a bit after noon. Their office did follow up via phone after the visits to check on my satisfaction, which was another nice and professional touch. The installation required a previously undiscussed and expensive upgrade to the system due to constraints on the premises, but we were able to work out a mutually acceptable solution with no hassle. I recognize that sometimes things don't go as planned. The company's scheduling department needs to interface better with their installers who are out in the field facing uncertainties and potential delays (which can sometimes be unavoidable). Schedule updates and changes should be communicated promptly to customers. Improvements in this area would make Dyezz a five-star worthy company. read more

Very dissatisfied with the salesperson at Dyezz. I purchased a home recently that included an alarm and security system from Dyezz. The salesman came out and told me that a person would come out to set up my cameras and security system. I paid the salesman $79 for that plus the first month of monitoring. A person came out and set up the alarm and told me someone else had to set up the cameras. When the camera guy came out he charged me an additional $89! Had I known that there was going to be an additional costs, I probably would not have had the system hooked up at all. read more

We recently switched to Dyezz from Protection One. We had been with Protection One for many, many years and the monthly price kept going up and up. We received several bids from local company's and decided on Dyezz as the best company. Dyezz had installed our security cameras several years ago, so we had experience with them already. They are local and when you call or email, they answer. The price is half of what we were paying, plumes we upgraded all of our equipment at lower cost. So we have all new hi tech equipment with touch screen key pads. Great local company!!!! read more

*********Updated this after they came back out.****** Please see update at the end. We had a rough start but it was made right! I had Dyezz install a home security system. They were supposed to arrive between 9-11. At 12:30, I called them and they told me that they would be there in 15 to 45 minutes. That time came and went without a call...just around 2:30 they showed up. When installer looked at the area that the sales person wanted to install the system, he said that wireless would be better (which means faster to install) and he would call and see how much that would cost me. I told him don't bother as I already set this up through another sales guy. Just want it installed. Sorry you are running late but I don't want to pay extra for it. Install was completed in a couple of hours. As he was leaving he asked me to pay even though I paid in full for the equipment and install 5 days before. That was straightened out and I noticed that he did not install the motion detector. The tech stated that we discussed it and he didn't install it because my dog stays inside. I then explained that I was planning to use it only when the dog wasn't running around the house and that I had already paid for it so.....seems like he was in a hurry. After looking over the install, I noticed a hole left in the wall where the transformer wiring was. There was no disclosure of this damage and no offer to repair.
