I will not name names. , who falsely advertised a dirt bike, I picked up a Kayo 250 2 stroke 2021, he told me that other companies parts are in this bike and that it was basically like a white Kawasaki, he told me it would compete with the big three name brand leading dirt bike companies on there 250 2 stroke line up, This Kayo makes maybe 20hp if we are being generous not what it advertised at, it being modeled after those big companies and supposedly having Kawasaki parts in the bike was a huge selling point for me, this bike is a dud. I text the salesmen and let him know I felt like I was lied to and screwed about this bike. He didn't respond so I call the building and set up a buy back with them. I got the bike for $2500 4 weeks ago and put 5 hours on it, they tell me I can bring it in and they will write me a check for $1,900, already loosing a good bit of money I agree and load my bike up and bring it in, I even called to confirm the day prior about $1900 for the kayo and they told me it's all set for me to bring it in. When I bring this bike in they take 2 hours to check it over, mind you this bike is just as it was if not better then when it was in there showroom a few weeks prior. They Tell me here's how it's gonna go. We will give you $1500 for the bike and no more. Then when I am not ok with that deception as well the sales manager smiles and just walked away and said have a good day. Like all the others all I can say is don't buy here! Run and don't look back. Sunday they told me they didn't have the bike we wanted in stock, but could "get it in 2-3 days," then sold me another bike like new only 2 hours (2 hours based on an aftermarket hour meter the out on it. Tuesday (2 days later) that bike wouldn't start, the exact reason I didn't want another carb bike. They didn't return my calls so I took it back, they took it around back and an hour later claimed the plug was bad. I told them when I arrived to work up a quote for the other bike I was going to buy Sunday. Since I bought it and it ran for only one day, I told them again - I'd pay up the difference and buy the other bike. Suddenly their sales guy was like, "we can't get that other bike, the guy Sunday was just telling you that. Other stores were closed, he didn't even know," and "We'd have to buy yours back at $1k less than you paid for it 2 days ago anyway." Then I started calling their bluff and they said, "We can try to get it but it'll be $1,000 more than we said we could sell it 2 days ago." Oh, and what estimate? We lost that paperwork from that quote. They also said,"we only put in our orders once a year, so we don't know if we can get any of those." Then they said, "We don't know what we'll get them or what we will get it." All these these BS tactics to avoid accountability and responsibility. They just suck, like all dealerships these days. Typical bait and switch dirt bag sale tactics and, once you're off the lot they don't know who you are, and wish they'd never met you. Sudden sales amnesia syndrome . I set up an online appointment with the year make and model because I could not get through to service to ask some questions, probably should've been my first indication to not bring my waverunner here. When I did finally get through to parts they said they would have service call me to answer my questions. I was concerned about the model and make and wanted to insure they could work on it. I also wanted to inquire regarding their labor rate and turnaround time. They promised they would call me back with the info, they did not, this should've been my second indication to not bring my WaveRunner for service at this location. They also said that the service department is very short staffed.... should've been my 3rd indication. I brought my waverunner early in the morning, confirmed the VIN year make and model. I was then informed of the labor rate, $212 for and hour, while there is a big sign saying $95 1/2 hour labor rate for waverunners next to the counter? I then asked the turnaround time they said it would be a minute. I asked them could they please define a minute to me they said a week or a week and a half OK no worries. I then received a call an hour later from Lisa apologizing for the inconvenience and informing me that they do not work on waverunners more than 10 years old. As you can imagine I was slightly frustrated at the process for your information Ride Now on beaches services waverunners more than 10 years old I would say be sure to check. They tried to make everything right and was close. After driving 2.5 hours I really didn't want to leave empty handed. They got closer but not where I was originally told I would be. Finally agreed. Now less than 24 hrs later I have jet ski with a dead battery and apparently a hull that is leaking because it became half full of water in less than 5 mins of riding. And yes the plugs were in. Gave this place a second shot and they fail again. Dropped my bike in for service and was told I'd receive a call from the service advisor. Never received a call, I called to get an update and was told it had been completed and was ready for pickup and that I needed to pickup before 5 even though they close at 6 quite rudely I might add. No one thought to call and notify the customer? I arrived and wasn't greeted at all, never saw or spoke to any service advisor. I was never given a run down on what services were performed or any kind of information about my bike whatsoever. I paid the bill and was given a receipt never had a walk around of my bike was never told thank you for the business, NOTHING. Just ushered outside to my bike that had been left out in the rain for a couple days and expected to hop on and soak my pants in the process. Requested the seat be at least wiped down. I took the bike and loaded in the parking lot, employees walked by and once I was finished loading and strapping it down an employee came back and asked if I needed any help while letting me know he had to get a red bull before he asked if I needed any help. The entire story is we had an issue and the wiring harness was never secure and the technician that checked the bike over during purchase OK'd it. Needless to say, a few months later we have issues with the lights and guages and they are telling us they will not honor the warranty. Well to start this off, I came in on a Sunday looking at a used bike ended up liking one of them but had to think it over first. I decided I wanted it Monday, so I contact the salesman I was referred to when I was there Sunday, Marcus. To keep this short and simple I had to go back and forth with multiple people including Marcus, and Simon who is somehow a manager. I received a call from Simon on Wednesday and was told the bike would be $7,300 OTD when it was listed at $4,999 because of some bs servicing fee that was $1,100 and taxes, registration, etc. Not to mention Simon refused to send me anything in text or email to show me the paperwork itemized to see the fees and whatnot. Got Simon to offer 7k otd with $100 store credit. Fast forward to Thursday and Marcus reaches out to me to see how the deal is going and offers to lower it another $200, I told him I would buy it if he credits the $100 towards the bike making it $6,700 OTD and he said quote "Sounds good man we'll get this number worked out so when you come Sunday, it's a done deal." and "if I can have them lock you in for that price, will you for sure come in on Sunday? I reply "At 6700 OTD?" Marcus replies "yes". So from there he asks for my dad's drivers license since it would be in his name and I give it. I also receive a call from the dealership to make an appointment Sunday. He replies a whole 5 hours later "I've been going back and forth with them and they won't budge. They're asking a firm 7k OTD" end the day on Thursday with "They're saying $6800, $50 store credit for gear, this is after hours back-and-forth Brother. I hope this is something we can do and if not, I totally understand. Let me know. I think it over and decide it's close enough to what I want and I like the bike enough so I'll purchase it. I text Marcus the minute I have time before school 7:33 AM "If management can send me something that states that so I don't show up and they give me a separate OTD price then I should be able to convince my dad" Marcus replied "yeah I'm here today and I'm going to get them to send that this morning" I reply "sounds good" I texted him messages at 1:38PM, 2:52PM, and 5:45PM, and Marcus replies at 7:26PM with "Hey man, sorry I haven't been able to get back to you, you are still one of my priorities, yes I will. Have you locked in at that price on Sunday if not better. See you then. Now we're in present day, Saturday. I get the cash $6,800 and want to confirm the bike will be held so I don't waste my time and I find out it was sold even though I had an appointment, and a verbal deal to buy it Sunday. I am told they cannot hold it without a deposit which was never asked of me otherwise I would've put one down. Simon tells me unless he has an credit app or full payment he cant hold the bike. Someone should explain to him that a credit app is for financing and not a cash purchase, 2 I was told it was going to be an in person sale with cash. Decided first time ever I would have a actual company mount my motorcycle tire (usually do it myself) .Dropped it off on a Thursday at 3:20 asked would I be able to pick it up on lunch the following day they said yes. So I called a head wasn't ready should be ready in 20min. This was at 12 so figured swing by after work get there 5:15 will need 20 min we pinched the tube tf yall done for the last 4 hrs ? needless to say didn't get my tire until following Tuesday because I wasn't wait to see how many tubes it take. Avoid RideNow Jacksonville at All Costs - My $100K Yamaha Boat Is Unsafe and Practically Useless I normally don't post stuff like this, but after everything my family and I have gone through, I feel obligated to warn others. If you're thinking about buying a boat or any powersports equipment from RideNow Jacksonville, do not. Here's what happened to us: Timeline of the Disaster: July 20, 2025 - I purchased a brand new Yamaha boat from RideNow Jacksonville. First time on the water in St. Augustine, it wouldn't go over 3mph. It was dead in the water on day one. I had to get towed in. No offer from RideNow for safe return, help, or even an apology--just "bring it back to the dealer." They kept the boat for 7 months. I barely got any updates. They just ghosted me. When I finally got the boat back, they forgot to return my trailer. I asked several times and they denied having it. Turns out--it was in their yard the whole time. Not even an apology. We planned a family trip to the Keys, thinking surely it was good to go now. On the drive down, the wakeboard tower literally fell off the boat on the highway. The dealer never installed two critical bolts. Just totally negligent. I called RideNow--they never called back. One time I was on hold for 23 minutes, and then someone just hung up on me. I'm not exaggerating. Took it to a Yamaha dealer in the Keys--they said multiple bolts were missing and couldn't fix it because they're dealer-specific parts. I had to buy random bolts from Home Depot just to stabilize the tower (which was still unusable). We tried dropping the boat in again. The steering didn't work at all--I couldn't even turn the wheel. Another tow. Dealer down there said the steering cables were never lubed and are now basically shot. After all that, we finally got it moving. We took it out 15 miles offshore with our four kids to snorkel... and the port motor died. We were stranded at sea and had to get towed back again. Now I have a $100,000 boat that has less than 5 hours on it and is completely unreliable and unsafe. The dealership refuses to take responsibility. The manager won't take my calls, the employees are rude and accusatory, and I've been offered zero resolution. TL;DR: Bought a new boat Broke on first use Held by dealer for 7 months Tower fell off due to missing bolts Steering cables never serviced Stranded offshore with kids Treated like garbage by RideNow staff I've filed complaints and may take legal action, but in the meantime--buyer beware. Worst motorsports business i've ever been to, I have shopped here twice now with the experience. BUY BEWARE, BUYER BEWARE!!! The price you see on the internet/their website IS NOT what they will honor in person. They find clever ways to skirt the boarder line of false advertising. My particular situation was, they advertised a new (1 year old ATV) at a very good price. I interacted with their team for several days on price, interest rates and condition of the bike. All communications ended with them pushing appointments on me to come to the shop. Finally, My wife and left work early to meet at the shop to look at the ATV, with extensions of purchasing it. Only to find out the ATV had several upgraded dealer options added to it, and is actually priced $3,000 higher than quoted on the internet. Anther ATV, new base model was also priced significantly higher than quoted on the website. The employees response to my questions were, "No! what you see on the website, (the Dealers MSRP) is correct , we just need to add the Plus, Plus, Plus and Plus amounts. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Also , DO NOT ENCOURAGE THIS UN-HONEST FORM OF DOING BUSINESS. Only put one star because the website would not let me put NONE! Oh, Charlie. YES THIS IS YOUR STORE!!! Worst vehicle buying experience ever for me. I drove 90 minutes for a $3k Yamaha TW200 advertised on their website. I confirmed the price ahead of time with their sales person. When I get there they give me an out the door price of over $8,500. They added on $5,500 in fees on to a $3,000 motorcycle! I've purchased two motorcycles in the past and never saw anywhere near this much in junk fees added to the cost of a bike. I stood up to walk out and they said they could work with me. They then came back with their best price of over $6,400. This is still more junk fees than I've ever seen. I mean the first offer had almost 200% more junk fees than the cost of the bike and the second offer had over 100% more junk fees than the cost of the bike. The conversation with my son during the ride was very pleasant and is why I kept one star on this review. read more

So much so I gave the sales department an opportunity to sell me a yamaha boat, they got me the exact deal I was looking for, as any business they want to try and be profitable and as any normal customer I asked for MSRP plus tax and license. I just left this dealership after calling this morning and making an appointment to test ride a Can-Am Spyder. Initially, the salesperson (George) took my name and number and told me he'd call back to let me know if they had the model I was looking for in stock. I called back after 1/2 an hour, and he apologized for not calling me back, saying he "got caught up in some stuff" but he would have the model I wanted ready for a test ride at 1215. I confirmed with him that I had my motorcycle license, and I would bring my helmet and other safety gear. We arrived a little early, hoping to look around a bit. We were quickly greeted by a salesperson and he went to get George for us. Another salesperson came out to tell us that they were short-handed and couldn't do a test ride, and then went on to say that their insurance wouldn't let them do test rides. He dd say that the dealership had a "10 minutes or 10 miles" policy that allowed me to return the bike after a short ride AFTER I purchased it if I didn't like it, and then expected me to follow him to complete the sale. Totally "bait and switch". Will NEVER purchase anything here, and will send an email to Can-Am, as well. read more

Well, after an unfortunate experience with RideNow 3 years ago, I decided to try to give them another chance and see about ordering a new 2024 bike. Their freight, build, basically every dealer fee they have is TRIPLE as expensive as 4 other dealers I received quotes from. I was told there were "only 3 units in the state of Florida" for the bike I was trying to buy. News flash, 30 minutes later I went to another dealer that had THREE units in stock on their floor. So, overpricing, lying about stock, and overcharging. They do NOT give quotes over the phone, instead they bring you in the store, see how hard you try to negotiate, and the manager is basically a runner boy for a man behind a desk that takes 15 minutes to give write counter-offers down. For RideNow, my out the door price for a $10,500 MSRP bike was $16,500. I ended up finding the bike at another dealer and bought it the same day for $12,300 out the door. Please do not let this franchise rob you, it's a shame that there's plenty of people out there paying these prices or else you wouldn't see this franchise all over Florida. read more

Bought our 2023 AR250 a few weeks ago and purposely waited to write the review, wanted to see if there would be any follow up after our purchase. WOW, these guys are awesome... beginning with sales, Floor Manager Eric Stokes. He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, great sense of humor and made the entire process a breeze. We had gotten other "deals" from other dealerships and Eric beat the other dealers by a long shot! In the end, it's really all about the savings. "Ian" in service did our sea trial, he explained everything in detail, very thorough and left no questions unanswered. He also impeccably installed our fender cleats which I highly recommend to all Yamaha boat owners, so much easier with the cleats. If you need service here don't do it. My son bought a Ryker there and its been nothing but a nightmare. There techs are idiots, service techs have no idea what's going on. Ryker been there multiple times and its been a month or more till its repaired. Have not ever heard of a m/c dealer or car dealer were there's a recall and you have to drop it off before they will order the parts. Every other dealer will take down your info order parts for recall and call you when the parts come in to minimize down time. Not this one. CRAPPY customer service. NOW they want me to pay for a battery they put in but did not charges me FOR and told me they can take the NEW battery out and put the old one back in if i bring it back for them to fix what was already supposed to be fixed. the incompetence at this place is overwhelming. I am writing to formally address the ongoing issues with my 2024 Yamaha MT-09 following the 4,000-mile service I received at your facility. Below is a detailed account of my experience: On my first visit, the service included a Throttle Valve Sync. After this visit, I noticed that my carbon fiber wrap near the gas tank was scratched. Following the service, my bike began exhibiting poor idling behavior. Specifically, the idle--which should typically remain within 1,200-1,500 RPM--was fluctuating. The bike would idle at 1,300 RPM but intermittently dip to 1,000 RPM, nearly stalling. I contacted your team and was advised to bring the bike back, which I did on Saturday, January 11th. I reside three hours away, making this a significant inconvenience. During this visit, your staff informed me that an ECU update was the cause of the idling issue. However, I confirmed with Yamaha directly that no ECU updates exist for my bike, disproving this claim. Instead of resolving the issue, the team raised the idle to 1,800 RPM, far above the recommended range. This adjustment caused the bike to coast at 2,200 RPM, resulting in speeds of approximately 15 mph without throttle input. I was told this was "normal," which is not accurate. I left with the bike but, 45 minutes into my ride, additional issues surfaced: The check engine light activated. The bike became stuck in Sport mode. The engine shut off three times during the ride. The quick shifter and auto-blipper ceased functioning. A loud ticking noise began emanating from the engine. I immediately returned the bike the same day (January 11th). I was informed that the bike would be repaired and shipped back to me. Over the following week, I contacted your team daily and was told that you were working with Yamaha to identify the problem. After approximately a week, the bike was returned to me with some of the issues addressed, but the idling problem persisted. Two weeks later, frustrated by the lack of resolution, I requested to speak with the manager. I also informed them that I would consider legal action if the matter remained unresolved. Within 10 minutes, I was told the bike was "fixed." However, upon retrieving the bike myself (as delivery was not provided), I found that the idle issue remained unresolved. Additionally, I was nearly charged for the service despite having paperwork stating that I would not be. I have video and audio evidence documenting these events, including the scratches and ongoing issues. This experience has been deeply frustrating and unacceptable, as my bike remains in an unsatisfactory condition despite multiple service attempts. I request that this matter be escalated and resolved immediately. I trust you understand the importance of proper resolution and customer satisfaction. First visited to Ridenow Powersports since it used to be Purcells. Walked in last week in JUN2021. Met up with a salesperson named Bruce Hill. This guy is legit. Totally impressed with his professionalism and overall customer service. We talked a bit then he says "c'mon, let's go outside and I'll show you the differences." We head outside and spent about 45 minutes completely going thru the different models, explaining all the details and differences of each with no sales pitch pressure. So we left after the thorough lesson on Seadoos, Jet skis and Waverunners. I was a little shocked at pricing so I started looking for a couple used ones. Most Doos were not really in the best shape or sellers were jacking up the prices. So, the last Saturday in July 2021, we take a drive up Blanding and stopped in to see what was available. Bruce was there and well...long story short, drove home with two new 2021 Seadoos TRIXX. No pitch, no pressure sales, I felt fairly confident Bruce and David tried their best to solidify the deal. Ryan S. finance guy, was a good guy -pretty straight forward. A few minor quirks, wait time was just like buying a car scenario, and I wish I could've gotten a better APR 7.99% isn't that great but I can always refinance later. I should've done a little more homework regarding a few details that perhapI could've been negotiated/worked into the deal (i.e. Safety Kit, Life preservers, Fire extinguisher) - but is what it is! Overall, I believe Bruce Hill is stand up guy with full confidence that if you went in to see him, even if you didn't buy anything, you'd walk away feeling good about the visit. Bruce will do his best to make you feel comfortable and walk away content with your purchase. Ridenow Powersports is fortunate to have Bruce Hill representing. Thanks a bunch! Seadoos are great!! I understood that they repair and maintain motorcycles as well as sales. I brought in my (new to me) 2006 Honda VTX 1300c to get an estimate on a replacement rear tire and an oil change. They wouldn't even consider a quote as they don't work on anything more than 10 years old. The bike has been immaculately maintained. It has 10,966 original miles on it. I assume the prices and interest rates they charge for their bikes and four wheelers enables them to turn down business from owners of older, yet highly functional motorcycles. I refuse to do business with companies who won't communicate thru email. They ignore you even if you choose email as a preference when requesting info. They write back and tell you to add telephone number so they can hard sell and keep pestering you. No thanks. They currently have a "F" rating on the BBB. read more

Unbelieveable.....Wanted to pick up a 19' Yamaha jet boat to bring up north. Salesman was rude and unhelpful I didn't even dicker over the price.Willing to pay retail.My only question was on the taxes.Boat is going to NH which has no sales tax and wanted to make sure that was legit and I could avoid Fla tax......he doesn't even return my calls texts and emails. UPDATE: after three months of trying to contact the "Customer Relations" that commented on this reviews to "contact to discuss further information" is just a dead phone line that has a full voicemail. GOES TO SHOW HOW SHADY THE COMPANY IS!!!!! Ski still takes on water after another $750 + added to the already spent $9000 in repairs. WHAT A JOKE of a company, no respect for the ones keep the bills paid.... ....added information from photo/videos ***Ski left outside without staff attendance to keep clients property in the same state that it was given. Was also given back the ski covered in dirt from sitting. Huge OCD red flag. You would think a company could afford some overhead shelter with the amount of money and business it sees. But it is very clear that the client is not a priority. You can clearly see where the metal severed and how clean the brake is. This was not done on the water, but yet done from a forklift, dropping the ski ------------------------------------ ORIGINAL POST One can not write a worse review. I typically NEVER write a review but after the last year and a half not being able to ride my PWC it really angers me. Took my TRIXX in to have an overheating sensor looked at. On my ride home after dropping off the ski I spoke with my home dealership and they informed me that this is typical when riding wheelies and doing jumps a lot. When I return to pick up my ski after two weeks of them telling me, one more day five different times. I was informed that I could take it straight to the water and ride it. $9000 later and my ski has still not gotten back in the water. From a simple sensor check to find my whole jet pump severed from the ionized metal plate at the rear. When I pointed this out at the dealership before pulling away, they had the manager come out and he rudely and forcefully told me that no this could not have happened here and that it happened before I brought it in..... how the fuck was I even able to ride it when the whole iet pump was severed off... Over the past year I have tried contacting the store and corporate. I have been placed on hold for multiple hours, and then my number has been blocked. This is by far the shittiest most unprofessional dealership I have ever worked with, do not bring anything here!!!! BEWARE read more
