This is now WaveImaging (one of two anaheim locations, the other is on anaheim blvd). Website: WaveImaging is a nightmare to try and make a reservation for x-rays. All over their website it says that you can make an appointment online or over the phone, but they absolutely will not make an appointment over the phone even if you have issues with the website like that it will not provide a button to proceed to the next step (tried on two phones and desktop). So the website absolutely sucks and their phone customer service absolutely sucks as well, complete apathy. WaveImaging shows complete disregard for people's time both as far as wasting it trying to make a reservation that is impossible, and then as far as expecting their patients to have all the free time in the world to sit around as a walk-in if they are busy. I can only imagine how much more frustrating and difficult it would be for someone who struggles with technology (like an older person) to try and use their system or deal with them on the phone. However, there is a web page to check current wait times that is super helpful (if it's accurate). I needed xrays and called to book an appt, and they said they only take walk ins for xrays and that they open at 8:30am. I arrived at 8:20am today (Wed), door was open, and there were already 2 people waiting ahead of me. Front desk lady was friendly and smiled. 8:45 rolls around and I get my xrays taken. Quick and easy. I also used the restroom on my way out and it was very clean. To the other bad reviews about the wait time....for an xray clinic (or for any walk in clinic, for that matter) it is rather inevitable. My advice would be to come first thing in the morning like I did (or even earlier, perhaps try 8:00am). Or, call ahead of time and try asking what would be a slower time of the day. I walked out at 9am and there were already more than a handful of people in the waiting room. Tip #1: Arrive early. They open at 8:30am, but try arriving at 8am. I don't even know where to start! The staff here is ALWAYS so kind and accommodating! The location is clean, covid friendly with plenty of waiting chairs. The process to get an appointment was seamless. There are no words to describe Patty, she cares so much... it's evident though her mannerisms in everything she does. The smiling staff shows that it's a place very well managed. Coming from a medical background, I had very high expectations and they exceeded it all. I would highly recommend Dynamic Imaging for all imaging needs, such as an MRI and or ultrasound. I have already referred some many friends and family here. All the staff in there was very nice. I did have a problem with my ultrasound tech not wearing a mask during my ultrasound though I didn't say anything it made me extremely nervous. With the coronavirus going on right now I thought it was very unprofessional of her not to be wearing a mask during my ultrasound. Wow, Simply Wow . I went there last Friday to get an MRI . Everyone that helped me with the MRI , the doctor , the nurse , the technician were great . Didn't take too long to where I would be bothered . Gave the information for my doctor and requested a CD copy . They said they will fax the info to my doctors that day. It is now a week later and I am at my follow up and my doctor never received the images . We have all (yes , doctor, nurses and myself ) been on hold since 4:45 trying to get trough someone without any luck. This mind you with their website and yelp stating they close at 5:30. Honestly I have no word to describe how unprofessional this is . I know have to wait another 3 days to find out what their report says. I only went to this place because of its location but I guess patients are not important here . Next time I will know better . read more

Lady at the front desk who helped check in my grandmother and tech who took x-rays were great. Tech (did not get her name she had black glasses , brown hair up in a pony tail )that called my grandmother back to assist her for her mammogram was very harsh . She asked my grandmother to get undressed , my grandmother only speaks Spanish so she asked the tech if she spoke spanish the tech then raised her voice and repeated what she had just said in English . They have nasty attitudes they seem like they HATE their job. You are able to hear staffs conversations, lady with strong accent is so harsh when speaking to patients over the phone . Customer service is the worst . I am a manager for a couple of different offices and let me tell you they treat patients is not acceptable. read more

Came here for an ultrasound. Got called in within 15 minutes of getting there which is great. Now for the ultrasound part, I'm extremly dissatisfied. The whole time she had me lag on my back and the screen facing here and I couldn't see the screen, when I tried to sit up to look she said it's better I lay back and she will show me later. I asked for the gender at 16 weeks and she said she can't tell for sure and doesn't want to confirm but she didn't seem like she tried hard enough and wasn't interested in trying. Then at the end she turned the screen slightly toward me and showed me a couple of shots of the baby quick and called it a day. She gave me a couple of pics and they were very low quality. She really didn't put much effort in this and didn't care. I'm not coming back here and not going to their other locations either. read more

I scheduled an MRI due to some tingling. I called around and all the other radiology imaging centers were so unresponsive and not very accommodating. I have a tight schedule and the appointment was quick and easy. I didn't have to miss too much work. I didn't wait very long before the mri and most of the insurance info was handled over the phone. The receptionist was nice and very accommodating. This is how a medical practice should be run. They gave me a copy of the image and a report by the radiologist and sent all the info over to my doctor. Everything was smooth and seamless. Going to doctors have been so frustrating due inefficiency and long waits but this place is exemplary in all factors. Don't go anywhere else for imaging needs. This place is run well. The technician was professional and courteous as well. read more

Scheduled an appointment and they saw me quickly (the next week) for a cervical spine MRI. I was in and out in less than 1 hour, of which the MRI itself takes 20 minutes. I've been here many times for Ultrasound and CT studies. Buyers beware. I encourage you to research to make sure that you have the best machine that perform the studies. The clarity of the images/films/pictures makes a huge difference for the doctors to diagnose your symptom. In addition, some old machines use more radiation (X-ray, CT scan) which is harmful to your body. Here are a few things I suggest you ask before making an appointment. If they can't tell you or their website doesn't specify, chances are their machines are real old. If you have Mammography, CT or MRI studies, I believe that you should look for a place that provides a digital mammography, at least 16 slice CT and at least 1.5 tesla MRI. Anything less than that is considered archaic. That said, this place has an acceptable Ultrasound but their CT is only 4slice! They were vague when I inquired about the CT. I don't know if they have a digital mammography unit. All of the technologists that I encountered are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. That's a plus. The front desk is barely adequate. If my insurance or referring doctor forgets to send them the authorization form or prescription, they did not call for me. I ended up chasing these papers myself. Waiting time is a hit and miss. read more

This is one of the most unprofessional and unethical office you could ever go to. The unprofessional staff member made fun of a Muslim woman and made the other staff members laugh. The manager supported her staff in making fun of the Muslim woman and said "if you don't like our services then leave" and ridiculed the patient in front of everyone by the door. My ultrasound appointment was on 5/29/2020. Check-in process was very quick and easy. Friendly staff and very minimal wait time. Ultrasound tech was very professional and was wearing proper protective equipment and was very clear in explaining the process during the procedure. Recommend highly. read more

Wow. Everyone please stay away from here. I have never had a more unpleasant experience dealing with anyone in the medical field before. The front desk receptionist was beyond unprofessional and rude, and the way she mistreated my family harkened back to the days of blatant racism. The receptionist literally stuck her finger in my family member's face and repeatedly threatened to cancel our appointment if she didn't get an incredibly specific document by fax in less than a minute. That was insane. Basic decency calls for us to be humble and respectful, and this place is anything but. I had a hand xray done at ICA and was treated very well in comparison to other imaging centers. The front office staff was very helpful and friendly and so was the Xray tech. This place offers walk-in X-ray service! Even though the waiting room was completely full, I only waited 5 min for my turn. The test results were sent to my doctor the same day! My father also had a couple of appointments there and had very pleasant visits. He even got a "take home snack package" after having to fast for his appointment. That's a very thoughtful touch from the management. My family and I will definitely will go back to ICA in the future. read more

Had to go to Imaging Centers of Anaheim for a CT scan. From the first visit when I had to pick up the icky barium to drink, I was very impressed with how kind and helpful the front desk staff was. They even helped me figure out the best cost method for my scan, which was awesome! I returned the next day for the CT, and although I waited almost an hour (in fairness, the place was PACKED), the CT tech was incredibly nice and made me feel at ease when I had to get my IV for contrast. A few days later, I had to call to request the scans for another doctor's appt. and again, very nice and pleasant phone manner and helpful. Would definitely recommend! read more

There's a lot of parents that come here and bring all of their rambunctious children. My technician was Jennifer and she was amazing! My procedure was a lengthy one, but Jennifer made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I fell asleep throughout the entire thing. She provided me with water and so much care. They don't check health insurance coverage properly and often charge the bill or threaten Asian patients by just saying "your insurance is not covered".....In terms of productivity, two staff are working for barely less than one staff work. read more

This is not a place I would recommend anyone to get their x-rays. The front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. The imaging is not ready in the time that they say they will have it. Most times I've received my images at the time of the appointment, this is the only place that has not happened. Then when I asked why I didn't get a call about the report being ready, the girl said because they send it to the doctors. Then I told her that my doctors office didn't receive it either she tried to blame them for not calling to get it. If they're provided the service and being referred by anther office, the last thing u should do is say it's their fault... don't come here, it's small office and not that fast. Went to my primary care doctor when I had a weird pain near my side. He suggested that maybe I needed to get a ultrasound. He helped me locate an imaging center near work so it would be convenient for me. Turns out Imaging Centers of Anaheim was right down the street from my office. I called them and they were pretty booked but they did everything in their power to schedule an appointment for me because they knew I was having some discomfort. A couple days later I showed up and was amazed at the layout of the facility. The staff was very professional and courteous and helped me with all my questions regarding the ultrasound. They got me ready and I was in and out of there in no time. Not long after my father needed to have a scan done and he went to the Imaging Centers of Anaheim as well. He had an equally great and efficient experience and he is a hard guy to please. They were even flexible with sorting out some issues with insurance we had at the time and went the extra mile to make sure we were covered. read more

Upon first arriving, I was immediately impressed by the warmth and sense of calmness the center displays. At the front desk, people were helpful and kind and seemed to have solid knowledge of any questions I had. They readily answered and were not rude or nonchalant like other places I have experienced. Been to ICA a few times for x-rays and MRI's on my knees and back and had great experiences every time. The wait is always minimal, they fully explain my insurance coverages, makes sure I'm comfortable before heading into the MRI machine, and the reports always come back promptly. Wait time is ridiculous. I requested a late afternoon appointment and they said they had none. They give me 2pm therefore I had to request from my boss to allow me to leave early. I get here and the waiting room is about to explode with people. Why are appointments being booked if they have no spaces available? Looks like someone needs to be retrained on making proper appointments. I will NEVER come to this or any of their locations again, EVER!
