I especially want to mention Gabriel P and Josh H, who took my X-rays. They were both professional, efficient, and made the whole process quick and smooth. Gabriel was amazing -- very friendly, funny, and extremely professional at the same time. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the appointment, which I really appreciated. I spoke with the pharmacist and she asked me "so you didn't go to the doctors today?" To which I responded with, "no, not today not this year" she then asked "so you didn't send a bald guy with tattoos?" And I said, "no I did not". This pharmacy was in Lakewood, I do not live in LA County nor do I go there for a pharmacy. The pharmacist gave me the name and number of the doctor and it is DR. Ronald Baumgartner. He wrote a prescription to a patient using my information and passing as myself. I called today and the receptionist said "We verified it was you". How can my information be verified without my social, ID, and birth certificate?!?! This place is a fraud and they allow people to use your information to get the medical attention they need...and who knows what else. They violate HIPAA and they believe they are in the right with using other people's information to use up the benefits for their own benefit. DO NOT GO OR TRUST THIS FRAUDULENT ESTABLISHMENT! Even though it is not usually covered by insurance, once you get older, my doctor likes to order a…read morecalcium score test every five years to access heart attack risk. Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years.
