I called our sales rep Tom immediately, and both he and the owner came to the house that same day and agreed to the change. I cannot overemphasize how knowledgeable Tom is about flooring. He had recommended LVP from the beginning, but I was concerned about the floors being uneven. He went above and beyond to make sure we chose what was best for the house and that we were truly happy with the result. We feel so blessed to have worked with Tom and Wally's Carpet. Also, I wanted to give the front yard nice curb appeal, and add entry way steps. They had great recommendations for how we could achieve this. They recommended the brick pavers for the walkway and the brick patio area. It love how they cut the brick for that unique pattern and the coloring latches our house. They got this project done in 3 days and each day they cleaned up after themselves as well. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work. From the very beginning, Ivan was communicative, dependable, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. He showed up when he said he would, stayed on schedule, and completed the project exactly when promised. What impressed us most wasn't just his installation skills, but his ability to think creatively and help us improve our original design. Throughout the project, Ivan patiently listened to our ideas and offered thoughtful suggestions that made the kitchen significantly better than we had imagined. He never pressured us, but instead helped us see opportunities to maximize both function and beauty. One of the most challenging areas of our kitchen is a curved wall located behind the staircase. Rather than simply working around it, Ivan embraced the challenge and created solutions that gave the space a true custom-built feel. He carefully modified one of the cabinets to accommodate the curve and suggested replacing what would have been standard upper cabinets with beautiful open wood shelving, allowing the architectural details of the curved wall and ceiling beam to become design features instead of something hidden away. Looking back, this ended up being one of our favorite elements of the entire kitchen. He also suggested adding glass-front upper cabinets to display our dishes. Originally, we were planning on traditional solid white cabinet doors throughout, but his recommendation added warmth, character, and visual interest to the space. We are so glad we trusted his expertise. Ivan also helped us create practical custom touches that would have cost much more through a traditional custom cabinet shop. For example, he designed a pull-out broom and mop storage cabinet next to our refrigerator, making use of otherwise wasted space. He installed lighting inside every kitchen drawer, giving the kitchen a high-end luxury feel. Our pantry area, located beneath the large picture window, appears to have two large drawers from the outside, but inside he installed additional pull-out inner drawers that dramatically increased storage and organization. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. We had what felt like hundreds of cabinets, drawers, accessories, and IKEA components, yet Ivan handled every detail flawlessly. Anyone who has worked with IKEA products knows they can be surprisingly intricate, and having someone with Ivan's experience made all the difference. Beyond his technical expertise, Ivan was simply a pleasure to work with. He was patient, professional, fair in his pricing, and genuinely invested in helping us achieve the best possible result. He treated our kitchen as if it were his own project. The end result is a kitchen that looks and functions like a custom-designed space, but without the custom cabinet price tag. If you are considering IKEA kitchen cabinets, IKEA storage systems, or any IKEA furniture installation, do yourself a favor and call Ivan.
