I've had multiple issues trying to get a new Dyson. It started when I went to the Dyson service center to take in my older vacuum to see if it could be repaired, or if it needed to be replaced. I waited close to an hour before the issue was finally addressed. I was told by the service rep. there that the vacuum couldn't be repaired but that I could turn it in for a 20% trade-in discount off of a new one. The new model that I wanted wasn't available that day at the service center so they ordered it from the warehouse and said it would take only two weeks. About 4+ weeks passed and I never received anything so I called back and was told I would get an update within 10 business days (so, now about 6 weeks after I ordered). Instead of getting an update, I got an automated message that my order had been cancelled. When I called customer service explaining that I wanted to order another one and be able to use my trade-in discount the rep was super rude and told me that that only applied to people in Canada and if I wanted help I needed to call the international service number (???). So, bottom line - I never received a new machine, I turned in my old machine and got NOTHING for it, and received terrible, inaccurate customer service and follow-up. What is the service center going to do about this issue that they started? Be careful what you order there!! read more

This Dyson repair shop will restore your faith in great customer service and quality goods. They are friendly and quick and honor warranties with *zero* hassle. I have had to go here a few times over the past few years because of various mishaps with our Dyson stick vacuum. Every time, they fixed the problem quickly and gave me tips for maintaining my Dyson and avoiding future problems. And it hasn't cost me anything yet. On 3/1/23 I took my animal ball upright to this center. On 3/3 got a call said its fixed. Made second trip to retrieve and found that it wasn't fixed, it falls over when using the hose. Representative agreed and said he would fix. 10 days later, got an email from Dyson saying it was fixed, and call from service center saying it was ready. Made trip 3 to pick it up; not fixed, still falls over. Representative agreed. He said to leave it, and he would order a replacement. Two weeks later, no notice, no replacement, no response to my phone messages. Called Dyson support, they said they would respond within 24-48 hours. No response. Called Dyson again, they said they would escalate but the only person who could deal with this was away on an emergency (that would be the only person in the United States of America - I asked). Waited through yesterday, when they said they would get back to me. Ha Ha. Six weeks later, no replacement, not a single call from service center OR Dyson. AVOID THIS PLACE, AND AVOID DYSON. Next stop, Consumer Reports, then small claims court. read more

I called this place about getting the brush end of my hand held dyson washed. My kid puked up and I used it to clean up. Ever since I used it, it smells, and now all the rooms I vacuum also smell. I enquired about this, and the cost was extortionate $150, apparently not covered by a warranty, this is crazy, I only brought this vacuum just under a year ago, could buy another vacuum for that cost. read more

My Dyson stick v6 animal started pulsating out of nowhere. I reached out to Dyson Service Center via Yelp text and was asked to come on the following day. The location was easy to find, with ample amount of parking. When I walked it, the facility was brightly lit and surprisingly clean (for a vacuum service shop). I handed over my Dyson to Pierre and said "It's pulsating, help me!" Pierre walked away, came back 5mins later, and vola, my Dyson's working again. Apparently it needed a new filter. How did he know so quickly...I don't know but he is surely the professions! It took me longer to drive there and park. Excellent service! Pierre was professional, kind, and funny. Loved this guy! My vacuum wouldn't stay on and he seemed to know what was wrong with it immediately. He pulled off the bottom and pulled out...a mechanical pencil!! Then he handed it back to me and said no charge. Works perfectly now! If you have a Dyson, take it here. They know their stuff and are so sweet. Do not put eBay batteries in Dyson cordless vacuumed they burn out the chip that controls charging. Dyson service replaced chip and battery free of charge out of warranty and the vacuum now works great. read more

I have a Dyson stick v8 animal and my vacuum is still under warranty. One day it was not running and the brush head was not working either (even with a charged battery). I called customer service and they suggested that I go to the Dyson Service Center in Fairfax. I did just that, and the team member took the vacuum to the back, did some diagnostics, and replaced the motor and brush head because he said both were not working. I was in and out in about 15-20 mins, with a working vacuum again the same day! Very pleased with the customer service! read more

Top job! The technicians are top notch professionals, extremely knowledgeable & very courteous. They immediately diagnosed the problem, knew right away what is & isn't covered by the warrantee [even before I said anything about the warrantee] & fixed my two vacuums in less than ten minutes with minimum cost. Before going to the center I had told myself, "If this is going to cost a fortune, I'll just buy a cheaper brand & forget about Dyson altogether. I cannot pay $1500 for two machines, then spend hundreds fixing them." They patiently listened to my complaints even though they had fixed the vacuums [I tend to complain a lot] & explained how each part of the vacuum worked, how certain parts can break & what to do to avoid that. That was very comforting & calmed my anxieties about Dyson. I was really frustrated with the machines before going in the center. Before going in, someone had told me "Dyson's belts always break". The technician with one glance, before he opened the vacuum, told me that my 2 machines are the new models that don't have belts anymore. The technician also carried both vacuums to my car & secured them safely in the trunk. This is one of the best repair experiences I've ever had. Also, the owner, Brad V., was extremely helpful, responsive, & patient with me. He responded to all my inquiries & e-mails in less than 10 minutes, even though I was writing to him on the weekend. I cannot thank you all enough. I went in with a lot of trepidation, barking & complaining, & came out completely calm, happy, comfortable & my confidence in Dyson was restored. I brought in my vacuum for repair with my 4 month old in tow. They had two people working repairs for customers so I only had to wait a couple of minutes to be helped. They repaired a broken part and unclogged it as well in probably 15-20 minutes. When the repair was done I was helped out to my car because carrying both my baby and vacuum was a handful coming in. Excellent customer service from a friendly and happy employee. I will happily buy more Dyson products knowing that this quality of service is available to me if/when I need it! read more

If I could give 6 stars I would! Fast diagnostics and wonderful service. I drove an hour (one way) to get here and it was well worth worth the trip to repair our machine. It had almost no suction when I walked in; by the time I walked out it sounded like a jet engine. Was delighted to find Fairfax, VA, has a Dyson Service Center. My 6+ year old DC33 was having issues, and after taking it apart myself (by watching some YouTube videos), I still couldn't get it to work properly. I took it in this morning, explaining my problem with it. Within 10-15 minutes (I shopped next door at Olio2go.com during that time), it was ready! The roller brush was the issue, and was re-seated in the proper slots (I had put it in incorrectly. Go figure!). There was no charge for the time spent on fixing my error. I was more than willing to pay too! I very much appreciate the warm, friendly nature of this service center. Without a doubt I will be back for any tune-ups/repairs needed. read more

I recommend this place to anyone who needs their Dyson products serviced. I have a Dyson stick vacuum that crapped out a few months after purchase. I was in and out of this service center in about 15 minutes. Carlos assisted me by not only fixing the problem (it was a faulty battery), but also helping me unload the vacuums from my vehicle. (FYI: I brought vacuums in to ensure that all is fine.) There was no charge for the service since my stick vacuum is under warranty. I'm happy to know that this service center exists. Their showroom is clean and includes just about all the products Dyson makes. They also have an incentive program where you can trade in your old Dyson and receive credit toward the purchase of a new one. I'm more confident about purchasing Dyson products in the future. I had a great experience last week. I brought my v11 in for cleaning because if the long term bad smell from years of vacuuming after my dog. They said the turbine of this model really can't be cleaned which overwhelmed me... then he said it was only around $30. Visited Dyson service center because our vacuum had stopped working. Love that Dyson has a lifetime warranty so we decided to bring it into the shop to see what was wrong with it. As we entered we were greeted and welcomed. We explained our situation and they got to work right away. They diagnosed the problem and took our vacuum to the back to get to work on it. We were in and out. No longer than 30 min of a wait and was taken care of right away! Felt weird to walk right out without having to pay for anything but that's the beauty of buying a Dyson and having a lifetime warranty. There were Dyson products available to buy (and we almost walked out with a new one for the car but my husband talked me out of it lol) they had great prices and markdowns available on certain products. I would highly suggest going in and checking out their products and prices if you are looking for a machine before going anywhere else. read more

TL;DR - Fast service, very fair and economical rates. My Dyson upright vacuum started malfunctioning and the dust chamber was coming loose. I dropped it off here with the expectation that they would give me a call with the diagnosis and a quote on the fees (like an auto repair shop). Four hours later, I received a call saying it was ready for pickup instead. I was nervous that they would charge me an exorbitant amount for a small issue but they charged me a very fair, low price for two parts that needed replacement. My total bill was ~$12. This would be a five-star rating had they communicated things to me in advance. The repairman and I confirmed that he would call with an estimate beforehand so I'm not sure why they didn't. Overall, I am pleased with the results and my vacuum runs smoothly now, dust chamber fully locked in. read more

I dropped off my two dysons yesterday to get them checked and find out what was going on. While I was waiting for the diagnostics another customer stopped by and the manager helped him. The manager told this customer that his vacuum was clogged and that it will be free of charge if he gives them good reviews on Yelp. (This is the main reason why I am putting my review here, btw!) My vacuums were clogged and needed parts. One for $80 and one for $280. I authorized the $80 one, but needed more time to think about the second one since I can purchase a brand new one for a little more than the $280. Therefore, I asked my tech to hold on to the second vacuum in case I decide to trade it in for a 20% discount on a new one from this shop. I just needed to shop around and see if I was getting a good deal. Getting ready to leave after my tech went back to get started on my repair he comes back out to let me know that his manager just informed him that it will be $25 charge for each extra week that I leave the vacuum that is not getting repaired. AND that's what really annoyed me! I just heard the manager giving a diagnostic ($25) plus a repair for the clog ($?) for free in exchange for a good review on Yelp, which in my opinion is not a fair review all together. At the same time, he had to send out his tech again to inform me of the extra unnecessary charge ($25) since I decided to hold on purchasing a new vacuum from them. It turns out other stores are already offering it at a 20% discount and accepting their store coupon that is ranging between 20%-25% read more

Just took my Multifloor machine into the Dyson repair shop. Thought I might have a problem with the motor or something else expensive. Brad diagnosed the problem as simply a blockage issue, which he took care of at no cost, and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes!
