While the workers did a good job, the management does not seem very organized. Two stars because the company did a good job in the end, but it took way too long to complete and there were too many times they had to come back out to do things left undone or things that got messed up and and had to be redone. Let me start with the pros: The quote was a fair quote compared to other bids I got. Hugo was very professional and had no problems making multiple trips out while I decided which company to award my business to. Initially, Diana was handling everything and handling it like a true professional and rock star. I expect problems to arise on a full pool and deck resurface job. But anytime there was an issue, Diana was prompt, courteous, professional, and made things happen with the crews. Now the cons: Someone else took over the office and most of my dealings were directly with Arnold, who is not prompt, is courteous when he is trying to get paid, is disorganized, and I'm not really sure he is aware of everything that is going on in his company. He operates more at a mid-level manager level than at an owner level. Every phase of the job was not completed on schedule and I had to call to ask where workers were a couple of times. Again, I understand things happen, but a simple courtesy call goes a long way with customers. The pebble tech guys left my new deck badly scratched, and it had to be repainted. Arnold acted almost like he was doing me a favor by sending his deck crew back out. A cover on the deck was broken, as were the joints. Arnold never acted like he intended to replace either the old joints or the cover. Hugo said that would all be done when he initially came out. I don't know who orders a deck resurface and is okay with old joints and covers, but I'm not. It took E and E Pools over a month to finally come out and replace the broken cover. It took them another couple of weeks to finally resolve their final payment (we tried to pay and they said we didn't owe anything). After a self-audit of their books, they discovered the missing money and contacted us. We paid, but I'm looking for a more professional and organized pool company for future work. In my close, I want to recommend to Arnold that if he can't get Diana back that he find someone just like her because she was handling his business with competence and professionalism, and if it wasn't for her, he and I would have had some serious problems about the work being done based on how he does business. Diana really proved she cared about his customers more than Arnold does. I hope she's doing well wherever she is now and that her current employer values her superior performance. read more

E and E Renovated my in ground pool, replaced Kool decking with pavers, reworked the grass area adding a matching paver boarder, installed sprinklers, 10 tons of decorative rock and updated the Kool decking on the patio. I'm very pleased with the results below is my review. I'll attached photos later. I realize it's likely you've read many reviews which begin with, "honest review" or "real customer" review etc. I'll try something different though this review is both of those. Also I'll be posting these comments to several places like yelp and Google. Being a datacenter / building manager I work with contractors and subs for all forms of construction, installations and renovations. I know how good contractors and subs should work and act, and I know a good team and product when I see one. I also know what general contractors and their employees have to contend with in their customers. E and E Pools is a wonderful local business and Arnold is a great guy. I could stop there but that doesn't provide the right type of review this company deserves. I would trust E and E Pools with any pool renovation and if I had to do mine again, I would ask them to do it. Partnership is really what a project like this is all about. Working together, to get the right product delivered. Arnold and his solid crew did that for me. More on the crew later. So many others companies were uninterested in my renovation project. It took a lot for me to find E and E Pools and I'm glad that I did. Arnold came in, made the initial assessment and got started. This was a massive undertaking and as is inevitable, unforeseen concerns cropped up. Some were pretty big, at least to me. But those were no problem because he worked with me to have them addressed. Having the right contractor with the right crew makes all the difference. Speaking of the crew. Obviously the heart of any business is it's employees. Erik, Luis and Junior are the three that had the most impact on my project. Clearly they work well for Arnold and provide E and E Pools with the great product that makes E and E a successful business. I am thankful I was able to get this work completed. I'm happy to have worked with E and E Pool and I'm lucky to have had Arnold, Erik, Luis and Junior on my project. Thank you guys! read more

I learned the hard way. Arnold the owner lied over and over. Scheduling, don't bother, no one shows up, no calls, no texts. When you do finally get in touch, it's a "personal issue". His favorite line "he's only human". Mistakenly hired him for a pool remodel. Job was scheduled to take six weeks. Multiple problems including issues such as; plumbed pool above ground (NO JOKE), missing PVC pipe at water feature, cool deck drippings on bottom of pool and so much more. But the worst was the plumbing underneath my artificial turf. While replacing my turf, his employees hammered two huge landscape spikes into the plumbing causing an underground leak. This was not visible as it was underground. My water bill increased substantially. I contacted the City of Mesa on several occasions trying to figure out what was going on. Definitely the water, but no idea why. E and E rushed to finish the job for Memorial day weekend (over six weeks behind schedule) Over a period of months, my yard started to sink, when we pulled the turf back, we found the landscape spikes in the pvc pipe and leaking. Called Arnold immediately and advised of situation. He put me off a week, but scheduled to comce out. AGAIN, no show, no call, no texts. Waited an additional two weeks, nothing. Finally contacted ROC, immediate response from Arnold. Called mad and begging to fix it. He'll do anything, just wanted ROC complaint cancelled. I agreed upon completion of repairs and inspection. Advised Arnold of additional charges to water bill and requested reimbursement. Said NO, told me it was no big deal. It is a big deal, charges exceeded $1200.00 over ten months. The city increased my cost as well as a result of excessive use. This was not my fault, I had no way of knowing what was happening underneath my lawn until it sank over time. I guess Arnold would be fine with someone hammering a few landscape spikes into his pool plumbing causing a huge increase in his water bill. BEWARE people. read more

Arnold and the team at E&E pools were excellent. The pool was reasonably priced and done within the time proposed. We had no knowledge of the pool process, and Arnold and our project manager, Henry Flowers did an excellent job of managing our angst and expectations. Their contractors did outstanding work. Overall good experience dealing with both the owner, Arnold and Henry. They were personable, and responsive. Henry was outstanding, went above and beyond helping us pass the barrier inspection when we had a last minute issue with our gate. He even helped us pick an outstanding tile! They were good at moving things along with the City. They were up front about potential issues that would involve additional expense, and luckily we did not experience any of those. They identified a slight yard drainage issue due to the new grade of the yard, and it was resolved quickly and reasonably and expertly before it became an issue. We did experience a small yard drainage issue in a different location after Hurricane Rosa, and again, it was resolved quickly, expertly and reasonable. read more

This company was recommended by my regular maintenance pool service and they are purely top notch! I suspected a leak in one of our bowl fountains, they sent over a quote to fix it. It was quite a complicated fix ,and they quoted me $500. They asked for a $100 deposit down, which I was fine with. The appointment was easy to schedule as well. They arrived this morning and were here for about 10 minutes, they determined they did not think I had a leak and said they didn't think we needed to rip up the travertine etc. They determined they thought the water pressure was not super strong and I was getting some residual water landing on the travertine and it was flowing backwards onto the ground. I was floored of the honesty of this company! As you know most would have happily taken my $500 whether or not it needed repair. They even sent a link to me to order some copper extenders to attach to the fountains, so I would t have to worry about it any more! Also the owner called me personally after the visit. This was my first experience having to use a pool company. We purchased a home with a basic rectangular size pool but we wanted more. So I knew the only one I was gonna let work on my pool was my cousin Arnold. He came out and went over the design concept with us and made sure we were completely happy with it. His crew started a week or so later and got to work. We both tried to keep this job separated from being "family". He is a business owner and we were a paying customer. There were a couple delays in the process but he kept us informed of what was going on. He was able to find the same pool tile for our water feature addition. His team redid our fire pit area and it came out perfect! The pool remodel was awesome! Water features were perfect. I would recommend this company to anyone. as a mom with young children. My expectation for quality of service is very high. E and E Pools was extremely professional and truly took into account the safety of my kiddos. They made sure to always have the workspace free and clear of any debris therefore I did not have to worry about my kids running around barefoot in the evening when we play outside after there days work was done. every member of their crew was extremely kind and answered questions that I had. The office staff was amazing and returned phone calls and kept me updated on my project. The crews at E and E Pools did a great job resurfacing my plaster with mini-pebble, re-tiling, and re-decking! I did my research and chose the most competitive estimate of the five companies in the valley with the happiest customers: E and E Pools. The crews did their best to stick to the original work schedule I was given, even working over the weekend to catch up. In particular, Ismael, their decking expert, made sure all of my questions were answered and carefully explained different parts of the process. Arnold followed through all the way to the final details to make sure we were happy! Even after our final payment was made, he had a crew come out to check on why we had some stains on the new decking. This is the most perfect company to have your pool replastered or any work done to it! It started off a little off mark but that's understandable when your doing a lot of jobs! Then end result PERFECTO!! Arnold is the most knowledgeable and very funny person I meet in awhile! They came, fixed the tiniest issue I had with the pilot screw for the pool light! The pool crew were wonderful, went straight to the job at hand! Loving it! When and if your nervous about having someone do or fix something ( like a mechanic ) cuz you don't trust them let me tell you this company takes that nervousness away!! I recently had E and E Pools resurface my pool and at their suggestion, had some much needed upgrades added. Despite issues with unforeseen weather, the E and E team did an amazing job on my pool. I was very pleased with the attention to detail they took in prepping the pool and the pool deck. Much attention was given to protecting my patio and surrounding area during the entire process. Any issues or concerns I had during the remodel were dealt with patience to my asking questions and quickly resolved. The crew was always prompt, courteous, very hardworking and professional. They had a good selection of tiles for a redo on the outside of our spa at a reasonable price. They were helpful in pinning down the look I was going for and had helpful suggestions. Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. Had a hiccup with the start date and even though they were extremely busy, they did their best and still completed the job within the same week of the planned work time. Even came on Sunday knowing that rain was coming on Monday and didn't want their grout work to wash away. They even pulled out a dying plant for us that was too close to the spa, so they could work better along the back part of it. If I could I would give them a 4.5. We loved working with Arnold, Jasmine, and Paul. They had a great crew. We called them to repair a leak in our pool system. We ended up redoing all the pebble tech and removing the pop up system. They did a good job on that, but after a month we had a problem with some discoloration. Paul and Arnold came out and looked at it. They ended up taking all the pebble tech out and replacing it all. They made it right, in a timely manner, with no additional cost, and we love the way the looks now. We highly recommend using E&E Pools. I had a leak in the pipe that leads to the pool float so I hired E and E to come fix it. They were on time, did a great job, and stand by their work. They have multiple discipline talent. Before the leak was fixed, the "grass guy" had to come pull back my artificial turf first and dig a hole to access the leak. After they leak was fixed, they came back the next day and put the turf back. You can't even tell it was disturbed, and no more leak. I was so impressed that I have now hired them to come do a complete replaster and tile of my pool. The owner, Arnold, is quick to respond to texts and emails, as well as Jazmin in the office. We hired Arnold four years back to replanted pool and replace water lines tiles. It has been nothing but a disaster since...he has been out numerous times promising this is the fix... pool should crack...it's only surface cracks...I was going g to call Tell Joe and he said are you threatening me? No Arnold just want project co pelted with assurance these issues resolved or my money back...someone needs to sue him.. I'm sorry we didnt our pool is mess. We were new to Arizona and pools...he sings a good song when he has your money....workers did not speak English so when I questioned them they just shook there heads not sure where to go now to get problem fixed. I am reluctant to hire anything out to "professionals" because I am almost ALWAYS disappointed in the quality and professionalism of the work and individuals. I have learned that it is easier and better to do most things myself. But to my surprise, E&E is the exception. I called and got quotes from several companies and went with E&E pools largely for their outstanding reviews and reasonable pricing. One word.. AMAZING!!! First, I got bids from a few different pool companies. E and E pools was by far the best one I had received. My husband and I were a little reluctant because the price seemed too good to be true however, he was a referral from our contractor and after speaking with Arnold and hearing the knowledge and experience he had we went ahead. The communication was excellent, the job described was exactly, if not better then we anticipated. The crew was polite, cleaned up after each day and respectful of my extremely strong wish to ensure the pool gate was constantly shut no matter what.
