Andrew is great to work with, friendly and helpful. But more importantly he is clearly very experienced in the field, and has a huge wealth of knowledge on everything home related. He spent at least a couple hours in every nook and cranny of our home, and at the end gave us a very thorough presentation on all his findings, complete with photos on his PC. Cabinets, drawers, and closets were left wide open, the heating and cooling system was turned off without permission, and items were moved and left out of place. It looked like a tornado had swept through. After a three-hour inspection, he left the property in disarray with zero regard for cleanliness or respect. On top of that, he was rude, dismissive, and carried himself with a complete lack of professionalism. His report was full of vague, unverified claims and speculation. In several places, he stated that certain elements were "not up to code"--but failed to cite any specific code or regulation. This kind of language is not only misleading, it's irresponsible and unhelpful. If you're going to make a claim that something violates building code, it's basic professionalism to include the actual reference. If you're looking for a home inspector who is respectful, thorough, and fact-based, do not use this one. This was a disruptive, disappointing experience from start to finish.
