We have stayed at the Marriott hotel twice since February and have yet to have any luck with E.D.B. Our most recent visit was when the hotel's grill was closed and patron's were directed to visit E.D.B. so we did. We sat down and there were already two menus so we looked and it was only bar food even though the grill said that the grill menu and their staff were at E.D.B We waited to be approached and watched as other tables around us were served. We even had a server make eye contact with me but nothing was said. Maybe we weren't his table. After a while my husband decided to walk up to the bar to order us drinks so we could have our drinks while we waited to order food. The only beer he ordered was completely out. They have a very limited selection of beer. We just figured it was a sign and maybe we should look for somewhere else to eat...and drink! So we left! read more

Nice place if you are staying at the Marriott. Great service, drink tasted great, dumplings good. I wouldn't say this is a destination place but a good choice if you are already here. Being a hotel place, it is a little pricey. Plenty of parking and EDB is outside, which was very pleasant in the early evening. read more

I went to have a quick lunch at E.D.B (Eat.Drink.Be) on my way home from Burbank Airport and had a Caesar Salad with Salmon. The caesar salad came out with a whole romaine lettuce wedge just cut in half so it was a bit hard to eat and the salmon was a bit bland. I went when it just opened so it was pretty empty. It was very nice sitting outside at the bar and I almost wanted to get a cocktail, but it was too early in the day lol! read more

Seated at 645pm, ordered shortly after, food didn't come till 50 min after we were seated. 4/10 for efficiency The main reason I settle for a 4/5 overall score was because the flatbreads we got, the white truffle mushroom and the Brie, prosciutto and fig flatbreads were PHENOMENAL! Unfair comparison and because I'm a truffle fiend, I'd pick the white truffle again. But it's such a close tie with the Brie one. Hopefully next time service will be more efficient read more

What a difference a couple of years can make! I'm back at this place for the dance festival after leaving a negative review in the past, and I'm happy to say things have completely turned around. So I was a bit disappointed. I've been to other restaurants in the Marriott hotels and found them much better at other locations. We ordered the dumplings which ended up very overcooked and so mushy there was water (not broth) still sitting in them, I also found them to not contain much flavor at all. My friend tried as well and said same thing. She ordered truffle fries, which also didn't have much flavor but very saturated in oil-to the point we could pick up a fry and it was dripping off yet they also didn't contain any real flavor at all. We also both got the white sangria. It was okay. I found them terribly over priced for the quality but since they're near the airport, I suppose they can get away with charging so much for so little. I will say this, we asked the server if we'd have enough time to order as we were on a time crunch and only had 30mins. The place wasn't busy and she was super kind to accommodate us. She took our orders right away and we were definitely on time so that was a redeeming quality as was the nice outdoor setting. There was great service! I supposed if you're staying in the hotel you don't have many choices of where else to go so it's fine in you're in a pinch but wouldn't recommend if I had a choice unless you're just going for a drink. read more

Been coming to the hotel for years for the Annual Monster Palooza Convention, and the EDB is our fav place to relax, eat, and of course drink! Love the vibe of this place and the bartenders and staff are super nice and fun to chat with. We were served by Sean K and Charlie J. This bar and restaurant is very conveniently located, right at the Marriott. We ate dinner there our first night staying in Burbank. Something to note-- they are NOT open for breakfast. The first thing to know is there is no indoor seating at all. The entire facility is outside. The weather was cool when we went and there were outdoor heaters at all the tables, and that was enough to keep us warm. The outdoor ambiance was nice for the time of year we went (mid-March), but I can imagine that it might be uncomfortable to sit out there during the hot summer afternoons. I noticed there was live music playing on Saturday night. The service was good. The waitress was attentive and friendly. She appeared to be the only waitress on staff, but she seemed to be able keep up with the guests demands (it was 7 pm on a Friday, and the restaurant was moderately full). I ordered a captain Morgan and coke from the bar. It was not strong enough to make be want to order a second drink. The food was only ok. We started with the Caprese flatbread, then ordered the Wagyu beef sliders and the Asian noodles in pho broth. They were only ok. Edible, but not spectacular. The star of the evening was the dessert. We ordered the s'more brownie sundae. It was delicious. I had tried to order it to go, and the waitress said, "it's really much better if you eat it here." I'm so glad I listened to her. Best part of the night. Overall, this would be a nice place to meet your party for drinks if you were in town for business, but I would not want to eat here more than once. read more

We met our niece here for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed . The reason for the 4 stars, it's hotel food and the patio view was meh. The food however didn't disappoint . We started with the deviled eggs which are unique, in that they are deep fried and then piped topped with bacon Yumm! Sort of a scotch egg feel to it . I had the chicken sandwich , sesame ginger chicken salad , paella and wagu sliders . The food was delicious and large portions . My chicken sandwich was served with parmesan truffle fries and while a little truffle is good, i found that i'm really over truffle flavor. The cocktail I had was amazing , It was the jalapeño cocktail on the menu and i asked for extra spice the second round . service was fine, we met at noon and fortunately got the last umbrella available the server was great about moving it around for us . read more

We attempted to eat at the Daily Grill (the other restaurant located in the hotel), but had horrible service. We ended up leaving and coming here. Very convenient if you are staying at the hotel and don't want to drive elsewhere for food. Amazing service, delicious food and perfectly made drinks. I love EDB, the food is surprisingly great. I enjoy the poke nachos and bowls. The staff is solid and super kind. I visit EDB several times a year for business meetings and we all enjoy the munchies and cocktails. Saul will go out of his way to find my favorite bottle of Rose wine. U is always smiling and checking in. Gregory is a great server and very friendly. I wish I knew a couple more names because they have all worked there for years and are all lovely (Odon & Sean?) . It's the only hotel bar that I look forward to visiting. They added a musician to play really beautiful guitar in the patio. It's a very nice touch. See you guys next time! :) read more

What a great find! This outdoor casual dining spot, part of the Marriott Hotel in Burbank is a keeper! Convenient location across the street from Burbank airport. I'll be going here before and after my flights. Nice, relaxing ambiance with a full bar, tables & chairs (with umbrellas), and a fire pit. The food is excellent! I had the chick and shrimp paella. It was a bit spicy, but the blonde beer cooled it down. The portion size is quite large. I had enough for lunch the next day. Great taste and they didn't skimp on the chicken, sausage or shrimp. My friend had the BBQ chicken flatbread. It came on a wood plank and was garnished with crispy onion straws. I've never seen that combination before. My friend loved it and took a few pieces home as well. Friendly staff that was attentive and stopped by to check on us a few times. We'll definitely go back and enjoy this hidden gem! read more

Last weekend while at the Marriott I had dinner with my son and his friends and we had the best waiter ever his name is Parker. Parker was so polite and attentive. We wanted to dine outdoors given the current covid surge without being locked down to a set menu due to the holidays, so we ended up at EDB. We have been here many times before and while the drinks are good, the food portion has always been on the small side for the price they charged. However, when we went recently, it has totally changed...it's as if they are offering twice the portion of what they used to. We wanted deviled eggs but unfortunately they were out.
