They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. I wanted to try a different Kbbq spot so ended up here only to be disappointed. First off, there is zero communication between the servers and customers. The stove is turned on HIGH so all the meat burns and the restaurant quickly becomes an oven filled with smoke because there is no ventilation. Servers would slap the meat on high and just toss it around and walk away. This is such a turn off in so many ways. Like... how am I suppose to consume any of this? I went in on a Sunday night at 9pm with a party of 3 to celebrate a special occasion. The hostess gathered menus and was preparing to seat us, then we were told by another hostess that they were "closed early today" although online it says they were open until 11pm. This was also what their sign had said outside. I don't want to assume, but I believe we were denied entry because one of the members of the party was African American. To further confirm our suspicions: 1.) she peeped outside of the door at us shortly after & 2.) we waited for another party to arrive, and they were given immediate entry (this shouldn't have to be stated, but they were of Asian descent). Ultimately, I am very disappointed by this occurrence, and I will not be giving this establishment any recommendations or any of my money. SMH. read more

We felt very disappointed! We got the beef combo for two and the food was not worth the price! They had four kinds of meat included in the combo but none of them were impressive and delicious. The side dishes were ok and the soup was salty. They had a cold spicy noodle for us at the end and it tasted OK. I think the only one good thing is the sauce that with sesame oil and salt. This was my first taste of Korean. I was somewhat familiar with the food, but quite lost upon arrival. I was most impressed with the friendly waitstaff who were very helpful in explaining everything to a newbie and making me feel at home. I chose the beef bulgogi and the staff allowed my wife and I to split the meal. What I didn't realize until later is that although we received all the fixings for two people, I was only charged for one meal. It's an absolute bargain for the price. I can't compare this food to anything I've had before, but it is very unique and offers a variety of tastes for one meal. You're bound to find something you'll like. For putting a time limit on AYCE, this place should have better and faster service than the crappy treatment my group received. They were nice and prompt when we first started out, coming back often to check on us and even cooking our meat, but this deteriorated after around 3 rounds of meat, about 30 minutes into our course. I would ask the server to bring out 2-3 plates of brisket at a time because each plate was so small for our group of 5, and we kept having to wait for someone to come by to get new plates, but they would continuously only bring out one plate at a time, 15-20 minutes in between each, stating they're busy and they've already put in our orders. The last one hour of our meal was just a waiting game and being ignored by our servers, and witnessing a large group next to us being frustrated at the same issue. One guy at the next table had to have a private talk with the server, and that's what prompted them to actually bring out more than one plate of meat at a time, for a table of 12. It was ridiculous. We felt like beggars asking for food, and after not getting 5-6 orders we requested, and literally no meat on the grill, the server came by to let us know it's our last call to order because we're running out of time. At this point, I said don't even bother, we're leaving and no need to put in these so-called orders that either takes forever to come out, or don't come out at all, apparently. We paid and left feeling like we just got ripped of our money. I've never felt so angry leaving a dinner before, as I had a friend from out of state visit, and told her we're going to the best kbbq in town. The level of embarrassment I felt, not only toward my friend, but also from being treated like beggars in this place is incomparable. I will never come back, and I hope you guys read this review and think twice before going. read more

got seated right away around 9:30pish. food tasted fine. main complaint is them cooking the food for us from time to time and having to repeat ourselves with 3-4 other servers. the music was a bit too loud. i could barely hear my husband talk to me as we also sat right next to the dish prepping area. we've been too many kbbq resturants and having them start cooking our meat was bit intimidating i grabbed the tongs to flip the meat and one of the servers stopped me and told me to keep it on the grill longer... ... ... yeah, that's a no for me immediately! they made me feel as if idk how to cook the meat. i would much rather have them ask if we would like for them assist us or not. oh, and they automatically added 20% gratuity to the check under service fee - which we didnt asked for any assistance. just leave the meat at my table, walk away, and let me do the rest. im a grown up and can ask for help when needed. read more

The food has been decent and the price was right so we tried it a few times my husband and I. They charged us automatic gratuity the first time, thought it was weird but said ok sure. Next time we went; no automatic gratuity, then the third time we had an older prejudice waitress who once again charged us gratuity. Not only K-BBQ, but overall the WORST DINING experience I've ever had in my life. Food: None of their food has any flavor or seasoning. If you are used to or looking for typical K-BBQ flavors, this is not your place. They don't give you any dipping sauces that you would normally get at other places and the fact that their meat is under seasoned is painful. Not to mention, the meat as tough and it had a weird smell that we couldn't finish galbi & few other dishes of meat we ordered. If you're used to a lot of side dishes (ban-chan) like lettuces, vegetables, Korean pancakes or spicy rice cake, etc. - this again is not your place. Service: Random servers come by your table and there is no communication between servers. They either burn your meat or undercook your meat then turn the stove off. They are not friendly and definitely don't seem to care if customers are enjoying their food. When we received our check, we saw that the gratuity was already included which made sense as to why the service was nonexistent. Price: AYCE automatically comes with 18% gratuity and you are better off going to another K-BBQ joint and pay more to actually taste something. Our total comes up to about $100 and it was the worst $100 I've ever spent in my life. Do NOT tip separately unless you so desire to. Ambience: It is cleaner than most Korean restaurants. There is no music playing and you won't see fancy k-pop music videos. The sound carries so much within the restaurant, and there are several groups of people who were way too loud that we had to shout out to talk to each other at our table. read more

Big fan of Korean BBQ(Yangnyum Kalbi) and Spicy Cold Noodle (Bibim Naengmyun). Whenever I feel like spicy food I take my families to EM Bop in Duluth. The foods are always excellent. The waitress Michelle cooked the BBQ so nice and juicy, Yummy. I recommend you to try Yangnyum Kalbi that is cooked on your table. You may see how Michelle cooks. This is a great date night spot! I love the ambience and the experience overall was so much fun! This was my first time going to an authentic K bbq restaurant and I absolutely loved my it! The service was really good, as the staff was very friendly and responsive. The food was delicious--- we mainly had beef.
