OMG!!! THESE ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVERS EVER!!! They robbed me of $5,000 cash! They held my stuff ransom overnight and even wanted more money, when I read all the made up charges, the owner finally agreed to just drop off my stuff but he had them drop it off real late and made up an excuse for putting my stuff in the garage which isn't even attached to my apartment unit! They charged me overtime (an insane amount) when the movers came late (we're supposed to show up around 8am but started working at 11am). They even stopped working while I had to run to the ATM machine at night to get more cash. I know, I was dumb and too trusting. Anyway, they charged me $450 for wardrobe boxes that I didn't even get half that amount of. They didn't even put wardrobe in those boxes! They put junk from the garage! At first, a nice lady answers the phone to lie to you about their good prices but omg, 5k and they didn't do much of anything! Everything was packed wrong, I can't find anything, nothing was assembled! They are really really terrible people!!! Please DO NOT utilize them! ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT SIGN CONTRACT. I was told I would be charged $100 to move my service date. Spoke with Julia (Manager) a week prior about not having a definitive date on our move (which I have on my yelp messages) and that it would be either one day or another. She still sent over their "contract" dated one of the days and urged me to get that back to them ASAP (even sending it 3 times to me via email). I was under the impression that as soon as I knew the date to confirm with them it would be fine. Only to find out from who I can only assume was the owner who answered their main phone number and he told me that I would be charged $100 for changing my date based of my "contract". I explained to him that based on our conversation with Julia the "Manager" that we were waiting to confirm our actual date to move and that in our conversation there was ZERO mention on a $100 fee to charge within 48 hours of your date of move. Julia followed up with me moments later just to tell me that there is "nothing I can do". She also said "from what I can remember"?!?! What kind of business is ran with a manager that has no customer service abilities. Not to mention I am the Marketing Director for one of the largest Senior Living companies in US. (Which means zero referrals from the 4 locations I over see in the Ventura county alone). For a first time customer there was no exception to have this $100 fee waived there was no empathy on their "customer" situation. What if it was an emergency and I couldn't move the date stated in my "contract" ? Honest waste of my time and money as I'm sure I will be charged $100 for ZERO service just because " they could've booked someone for my original date". There is so much more to say, but I've wasted enough of my time on this. They lost a 4-6 hour work day all over $100. On to the next moving company as there are tons of them! UPDATE UPDATE** (response to comment) Ok now this is just ridiculous... ok first off when this all happened you called me and told me nothing can be done to which I replied " ok then charge me but I no longer what your services. Does that sound like someone that would deny you from offering me NOT to charge me?? I messaged you via yelp regarding my move of 12th or 13th I also wrote with a request for you to call me regarding some questions. In that call is where I told you I wasn't sure on the date and to have it tentative to which you told me that would be fine. Second, you NEVER offered to not charge me $100 fee or to pay for my cancellation of the new moving company to reschedule with you. I was offered a 10-20% discount on a move with your company (THAT IS ALL). Might I add that I was also offered a ("what can I do to have you remove your review?") From what I understand this platform is for you to have a open an honest review on businesses in your community. Clearly you didn't handle the situation correctly and still continue to handle it incorrectly. So please don't post a response with 95% false Information that's what I call lip service. read more

I called EZ Moving as a result of receiving a call from another local moving company, Ironclad Moving Systems, who advised that they need to cancel my moving reservation (I note that this was on a Thursday and less than 48 hours prior to my move, which was on a Saturday). I went back to the Internet to do more research and came across EZ Moving on Yelp and a couple other websites with much positive feedback. In speaking with Ethan, I quickly realized that the company is very transparent and acts on their word. He informed that he might be able to accommodate my last-minute move and would check with his counterparts and return my call in 30 minutes. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, I received a call from Ethan and he confirmed my booking (what a relief!). To fast-forward to moving day, Ethan called me early in the morning to provide an ETA and then continued to provide me with hour-by-hour updates another couple times. I really appreciated this because it allowed me to run an errand and finishing packing without imposing any delays. Ethan and his counterpart arrived, discussed the logistics with me and then got started with loading up their truck. They carefully and thoroughly covered/wrapped (using blankets and plastic wrap) all furniture, framed pictures, mirrors and other delicates and transported from my 2nd floor to the ground floor into their truck. Needless to say, I happily confirm that after unpacking all of my boxes, I did not come across a single thing that was damaged! The transport was just shy of 100 miles and entailed many streets, freeways and different terrain (uphill, downhill, windy roads, etc.) and in all honesty, I had anticipated that something would get damaged as with any typical move, but nothing was damaged whatsoever. At the destination, everything was unloaded into my home and that concluded the move. I cannot emphasize enough how seamless the move was. I felt reassured from the get-go when speaking with Ethan initially and all the way through completion. Ethan and his counterpart are very personable and are incredibly respectful of their customer's time, property and budget (price), and most of all, their ability to follow through (as opposed to cancelling or outright declining my business) is very apparent, especially considering the nature of my last-minute reservation. I trust EZ Moving and highly recommend, no questions asked. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved to Hollywood about two weeks ago and let me tell you, E Moving made it so easy for us!!! We had two guys for 4 hours and they DID NOT WASTE TIME! I was a little nervous that they would take their sweet time to milk the clock but nope. Both were efficient and so very helpful. The price ended up being more than expected because we needed to pay for tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and furniture disposal but the price wasn't drastically surprising. The only disappointment was that an individual named Mike had quoted me 150$ for furniture disposal prior to the move date but then when I spoke to the two movers the day of the move about the disposal, they knew nothing about it and once they followed up with Mike, the quote changed to 190$.
