    Tri-Tip Sandwich

I enjoyed my lunch today at Eagle's Landing. I ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich with a side salad. The beef was tender and peppers & mushrooms well-seasoned and on a soft warm roll. The side salad was was larger than what I'd expect from a garden salad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is not a bad view from anywhere in the dining room, cozy and relaxing with the creek flowing along the footpath outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lorena the manager is lovely, engaging, bilingual, and accommodating - especially when I mistakenly arrived for lunch 30 minutes before service. I saw some staff interactions and obvious that her team is loyal and respects her. She had some great recommendations on what to do in area, along with nearby travel destinations.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Eagles Landing is by far the best food, service and atmosphere in June Lake (and maybe even Mammoth).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sage was our server and she was very welcoming and provided great service. We had 9 people and we all enjoyed great food and amazing drinks by Mark, the bartender. We will definitely be going here every time we visit June Lake.

Very cold beer. The server was very friendly and had helpful tips on what do try. Wow the food was incredible!! Took a few extra minutes but you can tell it was made with LOTSSSS of love. Will be back!!

Indoor Dining: Full Rack BBQ 4.86786 stars! Corn 2.2352 stars!

This was such a cool place to dine in during COVID in October. Guests were seated two to three booths apart. It was so quiet and peaceful. Only three tables were occupied, and a few people were outside on the deck. The Blue Cheese Salad was a great starter with lettuce, bacon, and blue cheese crumbles. Yum! I love blue cheese!! The three of us shared a Full Rack BBQ which included potato and corn. I asked for one more corn on a cob, but he gave us three extra. It's too bad the corn was bland and not very exciting even when I slathered a thick piece of butter. The potato was alright once I covered it with sour cream and butter. The BBQ was the star of the night! The sauce was finger-lickin' good, and the meat was perfectly cooked - juicy and fall of the bone kind of tender. We also enjoyed sharing the Chocolate Lava Cake. The warm melted gooey chocolate in the center was delicious with vanilla ice cream. This was an awesome way to end our day!

We are so lucky to find 'gold' at the end of the rainbow - I'm talking about edible 'gold'. Sierra Seafood is a wholesale and retail fish market. Oh, yes, you can smell the seafood when you enter the market. With over 30-years of experience, they are staffed with friendly and helpful men (I haven't run into a woman staff there). Their seafood include salmon, halibut, swordfish, tuna, crab, shrimp and much more. We got 2 beautiful lobster legs to ring in the new year. The lobster legs were fresh and beautiful. Eating home looked like luxury when you create lovely dishes from fresh quality products. Audited and approved as a seafood supplier, they cater to the finest eateries around the area. I guess we're just tired after our hikes and cycling that we didn't want to drive back down to Convict Lake. We finally made reservations for Thursday night at 5:30 PM and headed down. It's really only a 15 minute drive from Mammoth to enjoy dinner in a very lovely setting. We had reviewed the menu online before we came and already decided what we wanted. Unfortunately, they were out of both of those items. I server was Daniel and he was friendly and helpful in choosing other entrees. We split a Caesar salad, which was refreshing. For Andres, we ordered the venison and duck. My husband was worried about the venison, but Daniel assured him that he would find it very tender. Both of the nails were very good, but I think we ended up preferring the venison. The plates were beautifully prepared and served. Our food came out within about 15 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service we received. We will definitely be back again and hopefully the lamb will be available.

Great lunch option after doing Zephyr white water rafting!…read more I ate here with my husband for lunch on a Friday around 12:30 PM. Parking was easy to find, but may be challenging if you're not staying at the connected Yosemite Bug Inn and if it's busy. We ordered at the counter and were given a metal number card. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and patient with us as we decided what to order. We enjoyed coconut water and kombucha for our drinks. We didn't wait long for our food to arrive at our table outside. This is what we ordered: * Chocolate cream pie - it was chocolatey with a thin shortbread crust. Just the right amount of sweet for us. * Chipotle chicken quesadilla - I tasted a small piece and thought it was flavorful. They put a generous amount of cheese. * Bombay sandwich - Warm vegetarian sandwich with potatoes and other veg with what tasted like a pesto or vinegar based sauce. The bread was crisp and the sandwich was split in half. I enjoyed it. After tax and tip, we paid a total of $49.93. No pics this time since we were hungry :) We both enjoyed our meal overall and felt like the portions were big and satisfying. I would come back here again on another Yosemite trip!

They definitely know how to cook their eggs! For dinner, my husband ordered the steak, which could've used a bit more seasoning, while I had the vegan noodle bowl. Both meals came in generous portions. We also shared two beers and an apple pie for dessert, which was absolutely delicious. The service was fine, nothing over the top, but consistent. We noticed it was often the same staff working multiple days. The ambiance was really nice, with a mix of travelers and foreigners since the resort also functions as a hostel. Despite that, the vibe was always calm and welcoming, we never saw a rowdy crowd. Having this café just steps away from our room was such a convenience.
