Chicken club combo and cherry lemonade.
Diana L.

Service is outstanding! I ate the "In The Club" combo. The chicken was large, juicy and crispy. Seasoning of the chicken outstanding! We chose baked beans and corn salad for our sides. The beans are excellent. I personally don't care for the taste of dill in food. To me it overpowers the other taste. That was true for the Corn salad for me. My husband loved it. It is obviously good, must not for me. My husband had the Cajun Catfish combo and it was excellent in his words. Great seasoning, great crispy texture. We chose the cherry lemonade for a drink. It is tart, but that leaves room, if you desire sweeter to add your own sugar. The really good thing is that you don't have to get overpoweringly sweet lemonade. It is very good. The reason for my lower rating is the iced tea. Tea containers must be thoroughly cleaned every day or they develop this taste. Because so many places have that "taste" I've learned to test teas. Usually, sweet tea won't have it, but often regular tea does in these fast food serve yourself type places. Their tea here was awful. Everything else I would highly recommend. The biscuits are outstanding! You will pay extra to add jelly and butter to a biscuit. The atmosphere is fast food quick seating. There is eat in space, and it works well for all ages.

Overview: a great new edition to the Mammoth area, solid food and large portions ---- Biscuit Sandwich Combo $15 - includes two 4oz sides and a 32oz drink - I ordered the Smothered Bird with the B&B gravy (bechamel and house sage sausage) - the Smothered Bird by itself is $9.25 - For sides I chose the collared greens and the mac and cheese - the biscuits are large, I finished the tender but only finished half of the biscuit - my biscuit bun wasn't heated up (maybe to keep the integrity of the buns so it doesn't fall apart?) but the gravy and tender was all warmed up, sides were also warm - the biscuit was moist and not dry, around 4ish inches in diameter and thick - the chicken tender was crispy, but I'd recommend to eat it right away bc the gravy sogs the breading if you wait too long Sides $3 for 4oz: - collared greens had bits of bacon and flavor was on the sharper side (skewed towards more vinegary flavor profile) - mac and cheese was like a typical mac, I wished it had more of the breadcrumbs to provide a greater contrast in textures Hot Pepper Jam $1.75 for 1.5oz - wasn't as hot as I'd like it but it provides some balance of sweetness to the rest of the savory flavors of the sandwich - for the price per portion I think I'd skip on getting it next time though ---- Notes: - took 10 minutes to get my food from ordering - service was friendly, one of the chefs checked on me to see if everything was good - ambiance has a southern charm, playing country music and decor with the exposed wood and metal slats - the tvs were playing skateboarding videos the whole time - plenty of seating, 9 tables some being 2 seaters and some with 4 seaters - there's a bathroom - they sell merch - offer variety of drinks, including soft drinks, coffee, and alcohol - parking is in a shared plaza but lots of spots ---- Overall: if you're craving some solid southern food, this is a great place to grab breakfast, portions are filling and they have a wide variety of options

We ordered the Nashville sandwich and chicken tender meal. Wow, the biscuit with honey butter isn't like anything I've ever had. So good. The chicken tenders are big and the batter is light. The Mac n cheese side was also good but I thought the wedges were way over seasoned. I also think when ordering chicken tenders you should get at least one sauce included. Had to pay extra for ranch and bbq sauce. Overall a good experience with tasty food.

Finally a new restaurant in Mammoth that's actually good! I've been coming to Mammoth for 20 years and most of the restaurants are a miss. Not this place. The chicken is cooked to perfection. Perfect mix of flavor with all the right textures. Everything is reasonably priced and very worth it. Staff is also extremely friendly and the ambiance inside fits the vibe. Highly recommend checking this Bird out!

I just had the best biscuit of my life at Bird and Biscuit. I ordered the "In the Club" with chicken tenders, bacon, and ranch, and it was such a solid breakfast choice (my husband and I shared it). The chicken was crispy, the bacon added the perfect savory touch, and the ranch tied everything together--but honestly, the real star was the biscuit. It was fluffy, buttery, and had just a hint of sweetness--absolutely perfect. Compared to the more traditional biscuits I've had in the South (which can sometimes be dense and a bit dry), this one was light, moist, and incredibly satisfying. I was so impressed that I bought an extra biscuit to go. Staff was very friendly and service was prompt, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Mammoth--you won't regret it.

Fried Chicken Combo with wedges and Mac n Cheese

Very friendly service and great food. Portion size was great and even had some left over. The hot honey sauces paired really really with the spicy chicken tenders.

In The Club with corn salad and potato wedges! Also tried the Mac and cheese and beans were yummy! MASSIVE piece of chicken!

It was a DREAM. As…read moresomeone who loves to cook, experiences like SKADI are what I dream about. If you love food, appreciate incredible ingredients, and enjoy truly special dining experiences, you have to visit SKADI. From the moment you walk in, the entire experience is top tier. The restaurant is intimate, beautifully decorated with Norwegian and Baltic art, and the open kitchen lets you watch Chef Ian and his sous chef masterfully execute dish after dish. It's calm, composed, and honestly just fascinating to watch. The staff is exceptionally well trained, but what impressed me most is that if they don't know an answer, Chef Ian is happy to come to your table himself. He spent time talking with us, answering questions, and making sure we were enjoying everything. He even told us he doesn't have a single wine on the list that he doesn't personally love. Every course was beautifully prepared and perfectly portioned so we could enjoy each one without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. My husband and I genuinely loved every single thing we ate. If you're anywhere near Mammoth Lakes, make a reservation. (No kids under 10, but I promise it's worth getting a sitter.) This is one of those meals you'll be talking about long after it's over.

We visited as a family of four and made reservations ahead of time after hearing so many great things--and we felt incredibly fortunate to secure a Sunday booking, especially since they're closed Monday through Wednesday. It ended up being the perfect way to begin our time in Mammoth. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every dish reflected the expertise and care of a master chef with decades of experience in Norwegian cuisine. What truly elevated the evening was the personal touch--the chef graciously visited our table to greet us and ensure everything was to our liking. That kind of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. We ordered three appetizers, a soup, three entrées, and finished with crème brûlée for dessert--and every single item was flawless. An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Five stars--well deserved. Thank you for an unforgettable meal.

Like Taco Bell, you pay in advance. Unlike Taco Bell, you are expected to leave a tip (for service), before you realize you will receive no service. Choose your own seating, call up the QR code (which asks you to enter your phone number, but you can work around that) and then gives you a sterile list for a menu. It's a distillery, but do not talk to the bartender. Order a margarita from the (surprisingly inexpensive) Taco Tuesday menu and it comes with a hard, dried citrus something floating on top that adds nothing to the experience of the drink (but does eliminate the need for the bartender to keep a fresh supply of citrus on hand). Otherwise, the margarita tastes OK. Not great. Your beet salad will not be "dressed" because that would take effort. Instead the dressing will be drizzled across the top and not even really touch the greens. Your burger will probably be tasty, as my husband's was. Your sweet potato taco will probably have too many raw onions across the top but otherwise be tasty as mine was. You will not interact with anyone other than your table companions. Even with his tasty burger, my husband called it a "soulless experience." Because the food itself seems to be decently cooked (though with minimal effort), this may be your spot if you are good with Taco Bell.

She was very friendly and we were thankful she informed us that they were shorthanded so we lowered our expectations on the service. We've come so often that we know what is normal. There were three of us this time and my girlfriend and I want to split a meal. We simply asked if they would cut the ribs and the meatloaf in half. Erin went above and beyond and brought out two complete splits for us. It was very kind. My husband ordered the pork chops and said they were excellent. Everything was really good that night, but we sat outside, near the end where they used to have a yoga studio, but now it's a bar of some sort. The competing music was annoying. My husband and I returned again and everything was back to normal. We did sit closer to the front door, but the music seemed to be just fine. Eric was our server with assistance from Em and Brian. Everybody was so attentive and on top of things. The minute my water glass was half empty, Brian had it filled up. The owner, Matt, even came out to say hello. We told him that we have been following him since he was chef at the gas station My husband and I are older and don't eat as much as we used to. So this time we split a dinner Caesar and split the ribs. They are so kind to give us separate plates and no split charge. The food and our experience was excellent. When asked by visitors where to eat, we sent them to Toomey's.
