The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. My Pepsi didn't taste flavorful though Alyssa said she checked the soda bags and they were full. I swapped for sweetened ice tea. Alyssa was a super friendly server who checked on us regularly. The people are super nice, in fact we got here and there were no tables, but unprompted a group of three people hopped up, gave us their table, and moved to the bar. Our waitress was crazy busy but after she finally got to us the service was fantastic and both the manager and the owner stopped by and checked in. Funny, but later I found out the owner was the dad and the manager and our server were his kids. They do a great job of hospitality in this family. But on the most important part... The food.... Okay the apps and whatnot are pretty standard fare, and good enough. But... I'm here to tell you that you are making a huge mistake if you leave Huntingdon without ordering the Prime Rib Sandwich! It's basically a French dip, but it's easily one of the best I've ever had. Is is "the best"? It's certainly in the conversation. I'm mad I'm full, because right now I want to order another one.
