Your classic diner experience. The waitresses are incredibly friendly and quick. The food is tasty and well priced. The coffee and water refills are fast.

This is the best little diner I ever did stumble across. The staff is friendly and the food gets cooked very fast. I've tried a few different breakfast items and I've been nothing but satisfied. I've tried their eggs Benedict and also an omelette with egg whites. Whenever I don't feel like cooking breakfast this is my place!

Hunter's Burger - The burger was amazing and I couldn't eat all the fries after.

I love coming to this place! The wait staff is dependable and you can expect to see the same nice ladies every time you come. I don't experiment too much with the menu because I usually just order chili cheese fries as a meal from here for $3.99. For this visit though, with the intention of writing this, my husband and I mixed it up! I was a fan of everything we got.

Worst food I've had in this city so far. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Awful service, awful food.

We entered through the back entrance and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. We quickly found a table for two, and our server was attentive from the start, bringing water right away, answering our questions, and walking us through the wine and beer selections. My wife ordered the Beet & Salmon Salad, while I chose the Crispy Chicken Club with white cheddar and house-smoked bacon. The sandwich was absolutely incredible--hands down the best crispy chicken club I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the combination of flavors was outstanding. I also stole a few bites of my wife's salad and was pleasantly surprised by the yellow beets. I'd only ever had red beets before, and both varieties were prepared beautifully. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired wonderfully with the fresh ingredients. Between the excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service, this turned out to be one of the best impromptu dinner dates we've had in quite some time. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are already looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu. Highly Recommend!

The inside is no frills but service was excellent with our waitress handling multiple checks. My jerk chicken dish over rice was a bit dry and too mildly spiced for my liking. The servers are all well trained, and highly professional. The food is fantastic. The menu is the standout; it is very creative and has something for everyone. Let's start with their breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Too bad they're only open weekends for breakfast. Whenever we have family back in town or friends from out of town, this is our go to place. Casual relaxed, friendly with quality food. If you haven't been here for breakfast, I would highly recommend it. The only comment I have is they don't open for breakfast until a little bit later in the morning. Usually, there is a line out out front waiting for them to open. We've had most things on the menu and to be truthful, not one thing has disappointed. Dinner: we don't get here too often for dinner because in my mind, this is our go to breakfast place. Last week we tried it for dinner and again, very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the wait staff, the quality of the food, and the overall dining experience. Whoever transformed his place from a hipster beer hall to a quality dining experience did a great job. Kudos to them!

Came back today and would never return flies flying around gnats flying around $14 dollars for three wings , yes three wings! That were not all the way cooked at that! My son ordered the Betty burger that looked like they just put a handful of lettuce on top, he took off all lettuce and he stated it was ok. I also ordered the Brussels sprouts which had wayyy too much vinegar on them. I just could never return to place on any day! My son gave this place 1 star! Waiter tried! Ambiance dark!

From the moment we walked in, you could feel it. Great music, lively crowd, and just an overall fun atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing -- everything was plated beautifully and smelled even better. Even just watching dishes hit the tables around us had me planning what I'm ordering next time. What's cool is I'm actually in the area pretty often on Sundays because I go to a laundromat nearby, and it always looks like they're hosting a really solid brunch crowd. After seeing the vibe firsthand, I can definitely see that being a go-to brunch spot. They also keep things exciting throughout the week. Every Thursday at 7 PM, they host trivia with Jonathan from Quizzo -- six rounds covering different topics with chances to win prizes like gift cards. That's the kind of midweek plan that turns a regular Thursday into something to look forward to. And if that's not enough, axe throwing is part of the experience too, in partnership with Detroit Axe Ferndale. Axe throwing has seriously become one of the most fun social activities out right now, and having expert Axe Masters guide you through it makes it even better. There's nothing like that satisfying thunk when the axe hits the target. Between the food, the drinks, the games, and the overall energy, The Corner Grill is more than just a bar and grill -- it's an experience. Definitely a spot I'll be back to.

The food is not the main attraction here, but we thought it was surprisingly pretty good. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The garlic green beans were delicious, but the portion size was comical. There were seven tiny green beans on the plate. We did order a second round to get our fill of veggies. They have a "gamemaster" who helps you select from the hundreds of games they have available. You can reserve a game table online in advance for $3 per person and that reserves you two hours of game play time. The restrooms are a little nightmarish. Literally in a dark, damp basement. Other than that, really enjoyed our evening here.
