Relaxing biker bar with a view of the water. This is an extremely casual open-air, local spot with good happy hour prices. They have tasty pizza at very reasonable pricing. Service is a little slow, and at times you may feel forgotten about. Bartenders and servers are very attentive to the regulars sitting at the bar or nearby tables, but not so much if you are sitting in the outside courtyard. You can count on lots of fumes from the motorcycles coming and going, and a lot of cigarette smoke. You just have to try to find a spot far enough away from it so you can enjoy your food without the invasion of the drifting combination of fumes. I have nothing against anyone smoking, so I go with the understanding I will be the one who needs to negotiate the seating. Not only does Earl's have good bands and a great view, their pizza isn't shabby either. My sister and family came back to visit and one of their requests was that we had to get pizza from Earl's so we did - we got a plain cheese and a pepperoni and mushrooms. Both were delicious! Okay, so... Here's the thing... We got here around 3pm because the night before we saw a sign that said pizza and the person we were staying with said that Earl's HL had the best Calzones or Stromboli - I don't remember exactly but when we got there the bartender asked that we come sit at the bar because there's no table service, which we did and when we asked if they had a food menu. She said they weren't serving food until 4 and to go to taco bell to eat then come back. I thought it was funny but some of the people that I was with didn't like the sarcastic comment. Anyways, we went somewhere else to eat and for drinks. Later that night we decided to come back and the choice was between this bar or another place called Bottoms up. Thank goodness we chose this one because we heard some horror stories about the other bar. Earl's has a jukebox, full liquor bar (no crown apple), pool tables and a really nice patio area. The pool tables were open so that saved us a few bucks but because the doors were open it was really hard to shoot with the humidity because the stick keeps sticking. The patio area was really cool since there was an outdoor bar and a food shack. None of that was in operation and no one was outside. Oh, I forgot to mentioned this was on a Monday night. Our bartender that night was sarcastic as well but I got the humor. Had to explain to my party to lighten up and after a few minutes of chatting it up with the bartender - They got it. I decided to order a Stromboli and boy was it meaty and delicious, also cheap. If we are ever back in Sebastian I'd check this place out again. read more

What can I say about this perfect dive bar. I had no expectations when my friend and I arrived. The band was setting up the bar had plenty of seats outside. We were waited on by Allison who was friendly and once the bar filled up and it did quickly after we arrived she kept all on her side of the bar with a cold drink and any thing else they needed. The bartender assaulted us! Firstly we walked in with children they then immediately gave us attitude kicking us out we then left the children outside. We went back in to get pizza without the children and we walked in with drinks in our hands and instead of nicely telling us to please throw them away or drink them outside the bartender snatched them out of our hands and threw them away. Extremely disrespectful lady and you should never go. She needs to be fired immediately! Luckily there were police down the street and we then let them know about the situation. First time going to Earl's hideaway; after moving here from the West Coast of Florida a year and a 1/2 ago. I'm a big proponent of customer service as i'm sure many of you are as well. Heard they had the best pizza in all of Sebastian. They also had their annual monarch butterfly release around 3:30 today, so we thought we'd go check it out. The butterfly release was early, more like ten after three, so we missed that. But we had ordered a slice of their famous pizza at least twenty minutes before the early release. As we waited at the bar, my husband asked the bartender about the pizza and her response was "you do realize we only have one person cooking pizza" to which he responded "no I did not realize that." Ordered a beer. Then she slid it to us, didn't make any eye contact, and didn't say a word. That was not very warm or friendly, I was scraggly shocked. Lady came by with a slice. We thought she was gonna give it to us. Come to find out, the other gentleman working with the kitchen had told her to give it to us, that we were waiting. We had a conversation with the other gentlemen, and he apologized that he also thought she was bringing it to us and said we would get it soon. I then watched no less than seven slices of pizza go out to other people. Finally received our slice, The pizza was mediocre, and the service was far below that. It will not be returning to Earls, bring any family or outta town guest there, and will not suggest it to anyone in town. This is a landmark in Sebastian. Loved by the locals. A watering hole. Good food too. It is on the river and what. A view. You can't miss it. It's the place with all the Harleys sitting out front. I had a fish sandwich basket. It was so good. I was told that they had been voted best pizza in town. Service was good. People were friendly. Restrooms clean and stocked. T-Shirts, hats and a few other things were available for purchase if you wanted a souvenir. I did. They were reasonably priced. I was there for lunch. They do have live bands. We were heading back up North on A1A just out of Sebastian, FL and it was NFL playoff time; so I being the navigator was given the task to find a place to watch the Cowboys N Packers play. So I did ask my trusty mobile Yelp for help and to our surprise there was nothing on that stretch of A1A . But over on US1 there was several, with the pilot/driver Law getting antsy I just picked on with out reading any reviews. Let's just say, I AM SO HAPPY I DID. Earl's ROCKS. I would stop in anytime I was planning on bring in the HOOD. Drinks were $4 for a good pour. They have a slice of pizza(guy next to us ordered) that was HUGE. $2.50 a slice or $5.00 for a fully loaded. It looked wonderful. Outside there was a fry hut with some great looking fish and shrimp baskets coming out. They had a band playing and it was a mix of bikers/retiree transplants/local/a tourist like us.
