I have had great times at this Earls location, and I am a huge fan of many of the dishes. Sadly this past experience just missed the mark, we sat outside to abide to covid regulations and the seating was good. They turned on the heaters when it became a little chilly. Our drinks were not our usual, we are not sure if this is due to a different staff member on or a change of recipes. But due to our quality check with the drinks being late we decided it wasn't worth the hassle as they took a while to arrive. I had asked in advance if I would enjoy the new dish on the menu, to sadly I cannot recall the name. As there being vegan friendly option is limited I was excited to try the new dish off the recommendation. I sadly would not recommend the dish as it is not my favourite. I recommend the vegan Hunan Kung Pow instead. The quality check was at the end of the meal so there was no opportunity to change dishes. This location is within the heart of whistler, right along the stroll. It's an easy and convenient location unless you need wheelchair accessibility. Then you need to drive to this location or use a hotel elevator. read more

Earl's have set the bar high. The kitchen staff have perfected the food to the highest standard. The Cajun Calamari cooked great, it was soft to bite through and was far from rubbery. It had a tasty seasoned breading but it did not seem to stick well to the meat itself and sometimes fell apart. The Full Rack + Cajun Chicken was a very large meal and was shared between my wife and I comfortably. The Cajun Chicken was soft and held its juices which was surprising considering the well-cooked/blackened appearance. The ribs were flavourful and fell off the bone. They had a distinct smoky taste and certainly surpassed expectation. Earl's Famous Caesar was presented in an extraordinary way, garnished with a pickle and pepperette. The combination was refreshing, one of the best I've had. Amazing experience, the waiters/waitresses were prompt, kind and accommodating. I'm visiting from San Francisco and I wanted to watch the championship college football game of Michigan versus Washington. The lounge area typically does not have volume for the TV. I spoke to George, the manager, and he was nice enough to not only turn on the TV volume for everyone to hear, but he also set up a nice table for watching the game. Yazmine has been the server at my table. She made great recommendations on food and drinks and really helped make this a fun night. Had lunch here with 4 friends and our experienced was very good. The place is very busy and waiting time is 10-15 minutes. Staff are friendly and wearing face coverings and tables were setup with plexiglass and distancing. Serving time is a bit longer. Food presentation and overall tastes very good except for the coleslaw lacking of sauce/dressing. The ribs are very tender, not dry and very delicious. Potato salad with corn is absolutely great and of course their clam chowder is a winner. read more

My husband and I along with my best friend and boyfriend and daughter came here for dinner while we were in whistler. We didn't have a reservation so they put us on their wait list and quoted us 2 hours. We left and had a drink at a pub while we waited. At the 1 hour 15 minute mark in our wait they were actually able to seat us. The ambiance is fun. The employees were all very nice and helpful. Our server seemed like she may of been new but was still super kind and knowledgeable but slow. Took a while for her to come get our drink order. She wasn't familiar with their wine list but she went and got a manager that knew about their wine list so that was awesome!! We had the spinach artichoke dip, filet, the chicken tacos, and the dynamite sushi roll. All the food was amazing!! All very flavorful. The steak was cook perfect. It was so juicy and tender. Dynamite rolls were fresh and tasted amazing. The spinach dip was different then the kind we are used to. It's more of a purée sauce served with bread. It was to die for!!! We will definitely be back when we come to whistler next time! I recommend this place. Food was awesome! Employees were great! Nice pub in Whistler. We came in specifically to try the vegan Beyond Burger and it did not disappoint. comes with toasted buns, tomatoes, lettuce, type of mayo and fries. Also had the creamy chowder which came with delicious little bacon bits. Washed it all down with a couple of local brews. They have quite a few so should be no problem finding one you will like. Trying to find a reason to not give it a 5 and I found 2 things, but only one thing they can control. I think all food in Whistler is too pricy but it's a resort town so we get it. The food, drinks and service were great. The margaritas were 5 stars. We got the strawberry and coconut mint ones. My wife enjoyed the Bufallo cauliflower. It just had too much sauce but was very good. My spicy nashville chicken sandwich was great. We are talking very good food here. Enjoy it !!! read more

It was a ok place to have lunch...we sat at the tables outside. I'm quite persnickety about food...and then I don't eat meat. So that always make my choices slim...so I ordered sweet potato fries and spinach dip...and both were very good. This place brings back lots of memories. We've been going to Earls for a long time. First of all it's a great spot for a brunch in Whistler. During the high season it can be insanely crowded so getting reservations is really a must. Like most places at Whistler you need to time the crowds but it has a great location in the village. And so it's really convenient in the evenings. Just stroll around and then hit the place. The menu is pretty eclectic. They literally have everything from Mexican to sushi to steaks. So if you have picky kids there is literally something for everyone. I wouldn't say anything is particularly authentic but on the other hand there aren't any really spicy dishes either. On this summer day, we had a brunch that consisted of sushi rolls, eggs and bacon and tacos. It was a great hit with all the kids we brought and the sushi rolls weren't half bad for the grown ups. After a long day in Whistler we were very hungry and looking for a place to get late night eats. We stopped by Earls for their late night happy hour. I ordered the salmon zen bowl and my partner ordered the ribs and chicken plate. Both dishes were great but the salmon bowl really stood out. When the dish first came out I was concerned it wouldn't have much flavor. It had lots of veggies and a smaller portion of salmon than I was expecting, but once I started eating it I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what seasoning they used but the bowl wasn't lacking in flavor. I loved the textural component of all the veggies and the salmon was cooked well too. I couldn't finish the bowl and ended up leaving stuffed and happy. Days later and I'm still thinking of the salmon bowl. Food was great and definitely exceeded expectations. read more

While I was doing a tour in whistler they recommend me this place!!! Let me tell you my experience! I did waited liek 15 mins but it was work it!! The staff was really nice! And helpful! Even the hostess who had a broken arm was very sweet!!! They took ya to our table and our waitress came! She was so sweet and polite and made great recommendations in drinks!!!! We knew what we wanted it!!! Salmon and clam chowder soup!!!! There were two types of almond we got the Cajun salmon!!! And omg let me tell you!!! This was the BEST salmon I ever had in my entire life!!! It was so so juicy juicy juicy. ! I was in love with it! I literally ate it all!! Almost leaked the plate Hahahaha! And the clam chowder omg what can I say? It was delicious! I never tried such a great soup liek the one!!!! My mom had a new drink that was fresh and delicious!!! We were so so satisfied!!! Wow, so many good things to say. Our group of 7 came in for a Friday evening dinner and had no need to leave. The atmosphere is upscale and offers modern vibes with upbeat music. The food was DELICIOUS. Such a wide variety of dishes. The ribeye, spinach & cheese dip, sushi, truffle fries, truffle tortellini, chicken sandwiches, and burgers--incredible. Not many places can offer such diversity and nail each one. The service was top tier. The staff look sophisticated in their black attire and personal touch of style. I had one of the best Moscow Mule's ever had, but at the same time the old fashion was sub par (even though they used high quality whisky.... weird). This was the same with the food. The tofu tacos and the baby back ribs were fantastic, but the chicken wontons were a bit weird. More like popcorn chicken. I actually really really liked my shrimp taco appetizer. The shrimp was fresh and the flour tortilla was chewy and slightly toasted. The Earl's bread was also warm and fresh as promised. It came with my caesar's salad, which was nothing special, but at least pretty fresh. I would skip the chocolate brownie cake, it was nothing special. Come in for the drink specials, and make sure you double up the shots because they're not very strong! read more

Probably the best meal and experience we had while in Whistler. We happen to come by on Margarita Monday unknowingly and couldn't have been happier. I started with some random beer and then immediately went over the margarita world. The charred jalapeno sounded interesting and after consulting our bartender, she made the way she likes it (minimal sugary stuff). I could have drank them all night long.... they were amazing; and a steal at $6 if I remember right? The food was also very good. We had a bunch of appetizers and everything ended with a clean plate. A few of us decided to head up to Earls for their happy hour during one of our nights in Whistler. It was quite busy and they weren't doing reservations so we had to time it and queue ourselves on their waitlist. We managed to get in an hour before their happy hour and decided to grab some bites. I got the salmon zen bowl and really enjoyed it. The salmon had a really tasty sauce and the fish was not dry at all. I also loved the avocado, sliced radish and red cabbage that came along with it. The rice was flavourful but a bit mushy for my liking but my friend loved the rice so she finished my rice LOL! After happy hour kicked in we decided to order some appys and drinks. My bf and my friend got their frozen margaritas and it tasted AMAZING. We got the guava and requested them to make a strawberry one (which isn't on the menu) and WOW the strawberry one is so so good, kind of tastes like an alcoholic pink lemonade! We got appys such as garlic fries, spinach dip, etc but we all already know those are Earls staples! Visited Earls on the July 4th weekend and me and my party of three enjoyed a dinner here. I ordered the spicy tofu bowl and my guests ordered the peppercorn steak. Ive decided that My expectations for Vegan options is too high, because I really didn't enjoy the Tofu i found it to be bland, it had a Mayo sauce on it that tasted like straight Mayonnaise. I just picked the avocado and nibbled at the flavourless deep fried Tofu, but the presentation was beautiful. I was more interested in the mashed potatoes beside me. The steaks looked amazing and had no complaints from the rest of my party. I found myself taste testing peppercorn gravy and mash. I couldn't help but notice the sizzling burgers being whisked by me and wished I had just ordered some comfort food which is what's Earls does best. Instead I had an energizing drink called a Callamansi Caipairinha something which was very tart and refreshing gave me some life. I opted for health drinks since they have a few good options. My second option was the Tumeric drink, yum! The service was fantastic and attentive, which was greatly appreciated. The Manager, Bryn was delightful and checked on us periodically making sure everything was on point. We came for a late night meal, there was only a few options on the menu at the time. We had ordered pretty much 1-2 of each. The service from the staff, was very slow. Also, a problem with our bill our server tried to charge $12.75 for 1 jager shot, that means $3.00 each person for a "red bull" however we were only given a shot if not less each person. It seems like the low ratings for Earl's Whistler is due to long waits and subpar service during peak hours and weekends. Thankfully, we were able to avoid all of that by coming on a Thursday night (11/28) for their Late Night Happy Hour and we were extremely impressed with our experience! Firstly, I must give kudos to our server, who was the absolute definition of above and beyond service in the restaurant industry-- she was even better than servers I've had at fine dining establishments! Even though the night got busier as they got close to last-call, she did her very best and had a great attitude. She continuously checked in on us to see if we wanted any more drinks and food. We felt very welcomed!! We tried an assortment of happy hour drinks but my favorite was definitely the Strawberry Lemon Moscow Mule. Super fruity and refreshing!! We also got garlic fries and the buffalo cauliflower. The fries were served in a very generous portion and the buffalo cauliflower was SO GOOD. It was very lightly breaded and it had just enough sauce drizzled over it to be flavorful but not drowning in sauce. The celery was also super fresh! It wasn't tough or stringy at all to chew. All in all, we had a great experience and would look forward to return for late nigh happy hour if we find our way back to Whistler again! read more
