Britney I love brunch!. I have been wanting to come here for a while. We had a few days to kill in SF, and I figured a weekday would be easier than a weekend here, and I was right. This place is not cheap for brunch to brace yourself a little. Hubby started with the burnt orange coffee which he said was just okay - so save yourself some money there. I went with the eggs bene with housemade canadian bacon. eggs were perfectly poached and it was a good rendition - but not the best I ever had. Hubby had the french toast. It was an absolute TREAT to dine here! We initially made a reservation but arrived a full hour+ late due to bridge traffic. The ambiance was so cute, comforting, decorated nicely. I loved all the small details of the spot. Food was a hit! I dont normally like brunch food. Pancakes were decadent without being overly sweet - I didn't feel gross after eating these as i do many times with pancakes. The cream on top wasn't sweet, which was a perfect contrast with the pancakes. the shrimp and grits was unique! It also wasn't too heavy. I liked the balance of the crunch of peppers and green onions against the silky grits. The mushrooms and bacon pieces inside were also a pleasant surprise. read more
