I've been coming here for a while and I've always had wonderful service and good food. They have also been very kind with making adjustments to the dishes, just ask! It's a good spot to grab a bite before you have to jump on the train! I enjoyed the tofu dish and added some extra veggies and they gave me rice instead of serving with noodles.

I had over an hire wait for my train set I stopped in here. I had spicy Thai fried rice, which was delicious, with plenty of seafood. The service was friendly and not suffocating. This is a nice option when you're in Union Station with a little bit of time on your hands. It's comfortable for a food court atmosphere.

Quick and easy food spot inside Union Station - great place to go to if you're killing time. Got the miso soup and side of veggies. Staff are nice as well.

We sat at the bar and we were looking for a great Asian meal which this was. On the down side is that they must not have a liquor license because they can't serve any alcohol at all. Food was hot and the portion was quite generous. Service was great and you could tell they were pleased we really enjoyed our food. Packed up the leftovers for another day. We will get two meals each out of these portions! Delicious. Would be five stars if we could have had a drink but otherwise it was great food.

We ordered the crab ragoon and Singapore chicken. I knocked them a point because they were out of the crab ragoon and we were really excited about it. We spilt the Singapore chicken, it was very good, huge portion. The gentle serving us was incredibly sweet. Loves the view from our little table people watching at Union Station.

I've been coming here for years and everything is still great. The service was very quick and the food was amazing. I wish they never got rid of the calamari though *inserts sad face* The crab wontons were amazing and the fried rice was delicious!

The food was filling, the portions were huge. The only drawback was the slow service. During the lunch rush all I saw was just one waitress. The menus were made of paper and looked as if they came off of a personal printer. I think that is for Covid , non reusable, directly placed in the trash after every customer. If they can get some help, I'll come back.

The food at this place is great but the customer service is terrible. I've been here more than once and have never had a pleasant customer service experience. I've come on different occasions to the bar area when it's both busy and not busy. They barely acknowledged me and would often seem irritated to be spoken to, just very abrupt. I usually sit in front of the cashier and wait to see how long it will take for someone to say hi and ask me if I want anything. The food is prepared fast and the price is very reasonable especially since you can have shrimp added to your meal for under $13. The meat option is included in your price. I personally wouldn't recommend this place because I can not recall a time when their customer service was positive towards me. I've seen them greet other people fairly quicker but it's generally hit or a huge miss. Although the wait time for a table or food is fast, it takes a while to process your payment. However, I notice they are quick to pic up the receipt and holder to see if you leave a tip. I think that's a little odd. All in all, I will not be returning to this establishment due to the poor customer service.

Really good asian cuisine cafe! I say asian, because they offer plates from all over Asia. Japanese, Chinese, Thai, etc. This place is very lively and located inside Union Station. The restaurant is on the second floor and has plenty of seating. The staff are amazing and very attentive. I ordered the Thai drunken noodles, which were very spicy and very delicious. Friend ordered the teriyaki chicken and another bistek. Food tasted fresh and hot! As soon as we ordered, the food came out very quick! Restaurant was clean and great for groups and people watching. Prices are very reasonable and get a good amount of food!

This is one of the better restaurants in Union Station. Their service is efficient and consistent which is helpful if you want to catch a train. I find the fried rice particularly tasty. You can also tell them how spicy to make the dishes and they are very accommodating. The basil dishes are also very good. This restaurant will satisfy cravings for Chinese food.

The food was decent--nothing super special honestly but also not bad. I had warm ice water (3 cubes of ice in warm water) lol but by the time my food came, the water became cool. I ordered the curry shrimp fried rice--no veggies or protein, just egg and it was priced decently for the portions. The portion was HUGE. Tasted exactly like what one would envision fried drenched with curry sauce. My egg could've been fried a little harder though. Nothing bad or notable to say.

Chocolate milk disguised as a Thai iced tea. Bah!

I should have known this place was going to be less than tasty when my "Thai iced tea" tasted like a semi-watered down chocolate milk. :'( Came here for an early dinner one night (around 530pm), and we were seated right away. I decided on the drunken noodles (flat rice noodles topped with ground chicken, onions, bell peppers & basil in a sweet & spicy sauce-$10.25) and a Thai iced tea. The drunken noodles were more sweet than spicy (I'd prefer them more spicy than sweet) and didn't pack much flavor in them. I've only had drunken noodles with beef before, so having it with ground chicken was a first. The ground chicken wouldn't have been so bad if it was seasoned better. To wash down all this deliciousness (sike!), I had a Thai iced tea. This definitely has to be the worst Thai iced tea I've ever tasted. It's sad when what a restaurant calls Thai iced tea is a more like a watered downed chocolate milk. What a disappointment! Maybe other items on their menu are better. But, I sure won't be back to find out if that statement holds true.

Overall it's not a bad spot, but it just didn't exceed where I hoped it would, and while the food didn't really shine, neither did the service. The space is really awesome, and the menu gives you a lot of hope. But fewer hits than expected. The Crab Wontons were out, the jeau lanh (sp?) was not bad, but not that great, the char siu pork was my favorite, but the fried rice and noodles were not cooked at a high enough temperature to taste remotely authentic. Cocktail list looked awesome, cocktails were all just fine, we had 4 of them. Best dish was the monkey bread for dessert! Probably won't be back, but not a horrible spot.

If a place delivers strong execution, quality flavors, and exceeds expectations for what it is trying to be, that earns a top rating from me. Chili Wok did exactly that. We recently visited Alexandria and had an excellent meal from start to finish. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and arrived tasting fresh and intentional. The soup dumplings were a standout. The wrappers held together nicely, the filling was savory and juicy, and each bite had that satisfying burst of broth you hope for when ordering them. The fried rice was also very well done. It had great wok flavor, proper texture, and did not feel greasy or heavy, which is where many places miss the mark. The sweet and sour ribs were another highlight. They had a great balance of sweetness and tang, with tender meat and enough texture to keep them interesting. A dish that can sometimes feel one note was handled really well here. Beyond the food, the overall experience was strong. When every dish lands and nothing disappoints, that says a lot about the consistency of the kitchen. Overall, Chili Wok delivered exactly what I hope for in this category: flavorful food, solid technique, and an enjoyable dining experience. Easy 5 stars, and I would gladly return.
