They have various party trays which include combinations of rolls, sushi, and sashimi. Party trays also come with miso soup. They have an excellent variety of rolls to choose from. If your party tray comes with regular rolls or special rolls, you can choose the ones that you want. They also have lunch specials until 4 PM every day. My favorite roll here is their spicy salmon which I think they make the best out of any sushi restaurant. Many people also order their oysters, either raw or baked, as an appetizer. Both are delicious. Service: Service is wonderful here. The place is run by a husband and wife who are friendly and very attentive. Ambiance: The restaurant does many takeout orders, but they do have a very small dining space with about three tables. When I was younger I used to frequent this place and I remember it always being so fresh and delicious. I don't live in the neighborhood anymore and it's also complicated because they've always been cash only so when I saw them pop up on uber eats I got very excited. I ordered the sumumono, dinosaur roll and dragon roll. The sumumono was fresh and tasted good but the portion was tiny - had 2 pieces of surf clam, one piece of Kani, 1 shrimp, and a few pieces of octopus. I'm used to sunumono being a mix of raw fish-salmon, tuna, white fish, etc so it was a bit disappointing to see such a lack of ingredients. The dinosaur roll was bizarre...the salmon skin on top was mixed with Kani and something else and was EXTREMELY salty and I had to take most of it off. The dragon roll was nothing special either. When made correctly, dragon is my favorite roll but no one seems to use good eel anymore and this has been going on for years. I was hoping this place would have the eel I remembered it having but it was the same fatty eel that was a bit dried up, tiny pieces in the roll with too much rice and just not too enjoyable. This is my go to sushi spot when I want special rolls. Unfortunately, they are not open on Tuesdays. I normally order a platter when I'm with a group of people. They have a maki party (10 regular rolls) for $40 which is great to share amongst a few friends. It seems more like a take out place but I've seen people dining in before. We ordered a platter, mixed and matched the rolls, and the chef chooses the sashimi assortment. They did ask for the entire payment when I placed the order and gave me a receipt for pick up. Prior to placing the order, I hadn't eaten here before but our family friends had recommended them. They were also the only sushi place near me that was going to be open on Thanksgiving Day. My mom and I ended up getting a couple of rolls to try later that day - spicy tuna and ginza roll. There was about 14-16 seat capacity and pictures of the food were all over the walls. The staff just shouted in Chinese and pointed for us to sit at a table. It took awhile for them to drop us off some menus after that. The menu was intensive with pictures and numbers. (It's easier if you order by number.) After ordering, clams and oysters came rather quickly. The clams and oysters were topped with some tobiko, scallion, and a spicy cocktail sauce. The clams were very good but I'd much rather them without all these unauthentic toppings. I would never order their low quality oysters. They were totally missing that fresh briny flavor. I need my raw food to be on point. And for the baked oysters, don't even think about them. Sushi finally came after an hour of ordering. For a small place, they could not keep up with orders. I was starving on a whole different level by the time my sushi platter came. I was even more disappointed with the sushi itself. First most important thing, there was sesame seeds sprinkled on top of my uni. Who does that? The sushi was too warm. The sushi pieces were very bland and rubbery tasting. I had to remove on star based off of two factors that could discourage you if you were not knowledgeable prior: 1) BYOB & 2) Strictly CASH ONLY! So, don't do what we did - not eat this amazing sushi without a Sapporo. This place really is nothing to look at, and is the bare minimum take-out place to get your sushi fix. There's only 4 tables! The staff is really friendly, and the walls are covered with really delicious looking special rolls and party trays. We started with a standard Kani salad ($5), which was more cucumber than kani, which is not what I was expecting; pretty underwhelming, but fresh. For entree, I ordered the Happy Roll, the Dancing Shrimp Roll, and an eel avocado roll ($4.25; kinda more than what I usually pay for). My specialty rolls ranged from $8.00 - $9.50 each. The special rolls around really the way to go! They were super fresh, tasty, unique, and presented really nicely! They were served quick, and were totally filling. Heads up is its a very small store with limited seating so not suitable for big groups. The staff is all Chinese so not authentic but i can deal with it. The menu is very visual so no need for all the guessing. Bit far from my home but definitely worth the travel. Party platters are a great choice to go with if you come with more than 4 people. You can mix & match any rolls you like within the price range of special and regular rolls. They don't really have much rice dishes so don't expect to have Japanese entrees. Stopped by for a late lunch with my sister yesterday around 3:30pm. Thankfully, they serve lunch until 4pm, so we were able to order some items for a decent price. We're both sashimi hogs, so we went with the Sashimi Combo C, which came with 4 pieces each of salmon, white tuna, tuna and yellowtail. I've had better sashimi but it was good enough for a small business like this one. We also tried the Naruto Mountain and Alaska Naruto makis, both wrapped with cucumber rather than the usual sushi rice. The rolls were pretty good with generous filling. The fact that it's much healthier and less caloric than rice maki really draws me to them. The reason why I removed one star was due to the slow service. The restaurant only has a handful of tables and we were the only customers there, but our dishes still took a while to prepare. I think the sushi chef was putting some party platter together for a take-out order, but regardless, our small order shouldn't have required such a long wait. All in all, a decent sushi joint.
