    Strawberry mango lemonade!
    Gabby J.

Have you ever stumbled into place and told yourself wow, can't wait to go back and try their food. Well, that was me for this place. I had been walking and desperately needed a cold drink to cool down since it's was such a beautiful Easter Sunday. The server greeted me with a welcoming smile amd warm hello. I asked if they had anything cold other than water or coffee. The server offered to make me a lemonade but I couldn't find it on the menu. That's because it's not! The server then proceeded to make me one from scratch! The server whose name is Vee (hope I spelled it correctly) ended up making me a strawberry and melon lemonade. It was delicious and I will bring my friends and family back to try the food. I was eyeing the food as they were serving it to other customers and it looks good. It's just nice to be welcomed with a warm smile and not be seen as $$$ This experience was so refreshing and I thank Vee who served me. Thank you

This cozy little neighborhood cafe is a staple in Long Beach's East Village arts district! My dog and I frequently pass by on our walks and they have one of the best rotating seasonal menus. I often get the Best Damn Bagel - everything you would want on a bagel in my opinion - with a matcha latte. All food is fresh and made to order, so it's worth the wait! The cafe is obviously very dog-friendly and they've even let us sit inside on cooler days. Don't miss the little jar of small Milk Bone treats for your pup when you visit :)

Love this place! Very queer-friendly. Food and overall vibes were great. Stayed here for a couple hours to get work done. Absolutely LOVED the banana chai smoothie!!

I used to live in the LBC and came here from time to time. I recently came back for a visit for a conference and walked past EVC and was thankful it was open. A lot of places closed post 2020, glad this place survived. Tasty food, familiar and welcoming vibes. Support Local

Came around 9am expecting the store to be super busy. To my surprise, there was plenty of seating available and we were able to order right away. I did the byob with an everything bagel + cream cheese. The bagel to spread ratio was perfect and I enjoyed the toastiness of the bagel. My boyfriend got the best damn bagel and he says it's the best damn bagel he's ever had! The egg was fluffy and the overall sandwich was not dry. Good amount of toppings. We also tried the matcha latte. It was good but it was a little strong. If you're a hard core matcha lover I definitely recommend you give this drink a try. Everything was SO affordable and delicious.

First time here! I found it after my 6 mile run with a friend. I had the Granola Grind smoothie and it was extremely delicious. Highly recommend. Service was also super helpful in trying to decide what to try first.

One of the best espressos I have had in a very long time. My wife had the turkey pesto on sourdough and I had the vegan wrap. Both delicious. We will be coming back here again.

On my radar for a bit and decided my fiirst time here would be during ube fest as it was conveniently located on the street of the fetival. I ordered off the ube menu, specially for the event. Ube banana matcha, sounded incredible...3 things I really like. It was actually matcha with banana syrup and a ube whipped topping. The drink was way more bitter than I'd like or even expected. Although I would have preferred a real banana over syrup (especially since I ordered it blended instead of over ice), with the syrup, it should have balanced out the match flavor. My husband agreed it was quite bitter. I was a bit disappointed. Service was good. Prices are fair. Inside was decorated nicely.

Outstanding service, the gentleman at the counter was very polite, efficient, and listened. It was my seconded time back, with in the week, 1st time I ordered a mango peach smoothie. This is time I went ahead and ordered a classic strawberry and banana smoothie with bagel containing egg, sausage, spinach, tomato. I can truly say the bagel was so good plus the smoothie, just made the whole experience worth coming in and enjoying my Sunday afternoon lunch. Great place to check out. Chill music / energetic upbeat way to start Sunday Funday . Thank you for the experience guys! Keep up the great work.

I ordered the turkey pesto bagel and I thought it was good, just a little salty for my liking. I also got a drip coffee to complete my breakfast and that I enjoyed. They did offer an array of sandwiches on their menu which sounded good and I think this is a good spot for a slower morning. With the seating and views would be nice to drink a coffee here. The store was nice inside with a lot of natural light. Sadly, the service was very slow and they forgot the drinks in our order that we had to remind them about. We had ordered an hour ahead and they didn't start our order until we had arrived. My friends didn't enjoy their sandwiches, so for the service and their food it got deducted some stars.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.

I never expected to find stellar cocktails and wings inside of a hotel, but you truly never know…read more Let's start with the cocktails; they are KILLING it. The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.
