Located on Eastdale Avenue, you will find this cute little bagel shop. As we entered on a late Saturday morning there were a few people waiting around for orders. My aunt and I ordered a few bagels. I added two cream cheeses and a crumb cake. I opted for a garlic bagel, onion bagel, everything bagel, French toast bagel, poppy bagel and a blueberry bagel. They all looked so good. I also added a small vegetable cream cheese and a pumpkin cream cheese. This evening I had the everything bagel with the vegetable cream cheese. The bagel was really good and the cream cheese had great flavoring that was not too overpowering for me. I tasted the pumpkin cream cheese and that was wonderful! The staff were great. The female employee who helped me was so patient and took the time to explain items to me. I really appreciate that since I was not from the area. The sandwiches they make looked really Good. Eastdale Ave Bagels is a good bagel shop in a cool food area that I believe is called Eastdale Village Town Center. The shop is modern and clean. Good selection of bagels and spreads. I ordered a Sesame Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese. The bagel had good texture, chew and flavor. The bagel did not hold the sesame seeds well, however. The veggie cream cheese was above average. I could actually see pieces of vegetables, which surprisingly is not always the case at bagel shops. The cream cheese had good flavor and consistency. Really enjoyed their bagels! I took the classic route with a plain bagel and plain cream cheese; sometimes you need to go back to basics. Service was great; I ordered and got my bagel in good time. I think I have previously jumped the gun on best Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich in the area. This one takes the cake by far. My gf loves their bagels (and she's picky! lol) and I have yet to have a bad breakfast sandwich or muffin from them. Great prices, unbelievably fresh ingredients and honestly very nice people. Vegetable cream cheese was so flavorful and full of veggies. The iced coffee was definitely hot coffee over ice, would not recommend, but this experience was about the bagel so I'll let it slide. Hands down the best Bacon, Egg, and Cheese I've ever had in my life and I don't say that lightly. I'm a native New Yorker who knows a thing or two about bagels, and this place is in a league of its own. The bagels are perfectly chewy with just the right crunch, and the sandwich is always hot, fresh, and made just right. On top of that, the staff is amazing. This was my first time trying Eastdale Ave Bagels while I was on a trip to visit to visit my family and wow, these bagels were amazing. This place is takeout only, barring some outdoor seating, but it is in the new beautiful Eastdale complex so this is a great place to grab a snack and hang out on a beautiful day. However, if you are looking for somewhere to sit inside, you may want to make some other arrangements. Unfortunately, it was pouring when I stopped in so we grabbed our bagels and took it home to eat. We ordered at the front with the cashiers and the sandwiches were ready in just a few minutes which was great. Super fast service compared to some other takeout places I've been to. I ordered a Sausage, Egg and Cheese with an added Hashbrown on an Everything Bagel and it was phenomenal. The best bagel I have had in a long time and the fillings were delicious. I believe the sandwich cost me somewhere in the ballpark of $7 so pretty reasonable compared to some other competitors in the area. I will definitely stop here again on my next trip to Poughkeepsie and highly recommend everyone make a stop inside! read more

Wow another event brought us over to Eastdale Village and I had heard about Eastdale bagels. Being from Brooklyn I am a bit snobby when it's comes to pizza and bagels. Eastdale can hold it's own based on my palate . Even at the end of the day they had my fav Egg Everything bagel so I got the rest of those and a regular everything bagel with cream cheese. Great breakfast sandwiches and quality bagels. Eastdale Ave Bagels is located in the heart of the new community. We enjoyed our breakfast bagel sandwiches outside at one of the sidewalk tables while the sun was shining and the weather was perfectly crisp. I had the New Yorker on a plain bagel and it was delicious. Sausage, egg, avocado, hash brown and franks hot sauce. It normally has cheese but I opted out with the avocado, but after having it, I think it could only would enhance it. Will be back, for sure! Food is okay, but this place is such a nightmare that it's rarely worth going inside. If you can dodge all of the thousand-year-old mummies in the parking lot who don't know how to drive, you have to deal with the absolute chaos inside. There are no lines, there's no organization, and people who are waiting for food are just milling around in weird clusters everywhere. You have no idea who's in front of you on line, or what the hell is even going on. It's a terrible experience to walk through those doors. Cashiers are rude as hell - just a bunch of dumb kids with not enough manners to even just treat a customer like a human. I get it - it's very busy in there, but it's not an excuse to treat your customers like subhumans. This whole Eastdale complex is a blight to Pleasant Valley. Gross customers, a gross little fake town, way too much traffic, disgustingly high rents, destroying what was once a nice little town with more mega-corporation "investments" to take humanity away from humans. The bagels here are great. That's that. The one New Jersey-esque guy who works here is not. He's just so short with everyone and insists on talking over you. Man, woman, child, literally doesn't matter. Let your customers speak; you'll get the information you need. He also berated me when I went to get napkins at the counter (because why would they give them to you with a to-go order of breakfast sandwiches and cream cheese-filled bagels?) and accused me of stealing coffee I'd already paid for. I said several times, and showed the receipt, that I'd already purchased it and just needed napkins and he got visibly angry. There is also no rhyme or reason as to who is in line or not so it's just a barrage of people asking each other who is where and who's next in line. And after reading reviews I'm not the first person to see this. Lastly, the everything bagels are so heavy on the sesame they're much more of a sesame bagel. Normally that garlic, onion etc comes through but not here. Would I eat here again? Yes but I'd send someone else to pick it up. read more

I liked their food, bagels are very good, paper they are wrapped in sticks to the bagel sandwiches. By the time you get all the pieces of paper removed, a tiny bit at a time, the egg sandwich is ice cold. When I spoke with the owner about this problem he was rude and nasty about "his expensive" paper. I guess he is more concerned about tge feeling of his "expensive paper" more than a customer's feelings or experience in his business. I will not return as I will not be treated with such disrespect. They are very busy from all their other customers so I am sure they don't even miss our business. Very poor customer service. Great option for bagels in the Hudson valley. Not comparable to NYC bagels, but still a solid option. We had the novalicious bagel and the jalapeño cream cheese bagel. The bagels themselves are delicious. Bread is soft and toasted. Jalapeño cream cheese needs some work--it has no jalapeño taste and feels like you are eating green bell peppers. Novalicious could replace the tomato with capers. The coffee looked questionable since they have "coffee bar" and appear to not serve fresh roasted coffee. The location is in an aesthetic new development. However, the shop does get a bit crowded since the order and pickup sections are in the same spot COVID Concern: Employee taking orders was not wearing a mask. read more

Was forced to stop by here for someone who has dietary issues and needed to eat something quickly. Still no place to park with all the construction workers taking up all the street parking, still no Drive Thru. Today's issue was the the lady at the counter couldn't give me a receipt because they were out of paper tape in the register and didn't have time to replace it because they were to busy, but not busy enough to take my phone number to text it to me. When we got the order out to the car and we're back on the road we found the bagels were not toasted as per request, the cream cheese was smeared on one side of the bagel so when it was cut in half unevenly most of the cream cheese was on one side and not the other so you couldn't get your mouth around one side cause it was piled so high and was dry as a bone on the other side.
