We called Easy Flow for a second estimate to line our sewer lateral with epoxy. Their quote was less than half of the first one we received, and they did a great job all around. Afterwards we had another backup caused by a sewer line under the street. Bill provided an estimate promptly which was inline with others for our project (lining 30 feet of rotten cast iron under a slab with a bathroom tie-in, bursting 70 feet of rotten cast iron to the street), but he seemed to have the best understanding of various approaches to trenchless sewer replacement (others made many conflicting statements about lining and bursting). When it came time to do the work, the were on time and tidy with minimal interruption to our lives (we were able to use the toilets most of the time they were around) and even finished a day early. Easy Flow did a great job clearing my pool deck drain. I got a rooter rental from Home Depot stuck in a secondary drain line. Easy Flow hydro-jetted the main line clear of all roots and debris, then found where the snake was stuck using a video camera. The snake was stuck so badly they had to dig down and cut into the line to free it from a huge ball of roots. I wish I would have called the professionals at Easy Flow first rather than trying to do it myself - I would have saved a lot of time and effort! read more

These poor guys have had a tough job in San Carlos. They did my sewer thing the City is having them do earlier this year. They worked with me when I needed to leave out of my driveway. They've had their trucks parked on sides of homes, doing their best not to block fronts of homes. I know the had complaints, but I found talking to them and not bring a jerk made them want to quickly do my part of their job. I've seen neighbors out taking pics, complaining. We recently had issues with our 1929 cast iron sewer line, and needed to have it replaced. Because of where our sewer line is, under house and bricks in front yard, I got smart on the different technologies that could be used on our system. I met with three different plumbing contractors and realized that while they are all reputable, most only have two techniques that they are used to using. Trenching and something else. That is what sets Easy Flow apart from all of the contractors I met with. They have MANY different technologies available to them. They specialize in sewer lines, whilst still very capable and fantastic plumbers. Bill came to my house and was able to explain what exactly they could do to fix our system. Bill mentioned that the job would require 3 days to do, but on the first day they brought a cavalry! By they way, they started the very next day I met with Bill and gave him the go ahead. They were able to fix our system and replace all the cast iron pipes under our house in a little over one day! I was never out of service and the yard looks like they were never here. I reached out again after their yelp response. The service response we received from Garth was night and day from our previous interaction. He apologized for the confusion and explained why they were unable to find ot additional paperwork. He also set up a time to come out and take a look promising to correct any issues they found and confirming that we did have the 100 year warranty. After a thorough inspection he concluded that the blockage was gone and was probably a soft blockage at the 90 degree junction with the city line. Our line was clear but even so he took the video back to the shop to have his techs review. Their findings were the same so we are thrilled that no additional work needs to be done. He also told us to reach out if we have any further issues and they would correct them. Excellent service recovery and so appreciate them taking the time to address our negative interaction and correct the situation. Miscommunications happen but they more than made up for it and we are happy to work with them again in the future. read more

I had been having a problem with my main sewer line for 5 years. Just keep snaking it out. It started backing up again and this time a bunch of tree roots were found. The initial plumber wanted to tear up my bathroom and hallway floor (all marble) to fix the pipes. $10k plus then I'd have to pay for the floor to be redone....Not happening. I did some research and found Easy Flow. Mark came over right away, checked it out and said he could get it done for about the same price without ripping up my house. They ran into rare problem, but Mark called right away, put me up in a hotel for the night and had it all resolved by the time I got home. We were in dire need of help to get 3 apartment units back in service. I almost never write reviews, but this company is AWESOME and I want everyone to know what a great job they do and what great employees they have. I had the worst catastrophe in 30 years of property management. All of a sudden I had a building of 3 units that couldn't use their water, flush toilets, shower etc. because the sewer mainline started to back flow into the downstairs apartment. Turned out the neighboring property had made a repair that closed off our main line sewer pipe access to the city sewer. They completely sealed it shut! The first two plumbing companies to come out were unsuccessful in pin pointing the problem and/or being able to make the repair. Ultimately when Easy Flow discovered the source of the problem, the city street needed to be dug up which required a Class A license. Tom and his team did a fantastic job. Tom provided an ingenious workaround that restored plumbing service to the units while working to obtain an emergency city permit to allow him to make the repair. The work-a-round restoration of service was a huge stress relief as residents were growing very agitated with the inability of each prior company to solve the problem. Easy Flow employees worked their A$$es off to complete the repair in record time. I was so impressed, I had the confidence to have them pipe burst a new 100 foot replacement main line which a second team did the next day. Employees were extremely hard workers, competent at their jobs, knew how to work independently and together to operate machinery and to perform work in a safe manner. My project was irrigation drain blockages from yard to street. Easy flow sent 2 guys every day for 4 visits. Problem was we never saw the same people twice so I had to be home and explain to the "New" team each visit what the project was and what needed to be done. Some of the visits were spent going back over what the previous workers had done (repeating exact same work). Some visits were unproductive because they didn't have the right equipment on the truck. One appointment a No Show. End result was me being home each day to supervise. They replaced only 1 four foot section of pvc drain and the rest was "camera work". $1700. read more

Easy Flow is doing work on the sewer system in my area. I was very happy to learn about exactly what they were doing on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis. I was told by the workers exactly when they needed me to not use water. It was only an hour and a half! The work required a hole in the side of my driveway. They made sure they helped me back out the car and return from errands when the hole was open, only during part of one day, then again when it was filled, and finally when new cement was laid. They were so kind, did a fabulous job of cleaning up, and let me see the actual connections etc. that they were installing. We're doing a major remodel and discovered our underground plumbing to be at its' "end of life", contacted four top rated plumbing contractors for help but only received one immediate response. Mr. Bill from Easy Flow called back and then came out that morning for a complete inspection. He provided a wealth of information, explaining pipe lining, bursting, spraying, etc., gave us a written bid on the spot and said they could start work the next day. We waited a couple of days for the others to respond and received one more bid, which was about the same money, but they admitted they would be sub-contracting out the actual bursting / lining. We decided going with a contractor who could do all aspects of the job would be more efficient and called Mr. Bill who said his crew would start the next morning. And they did! Several trucks, lots of equipment and a bunch of the hardest working, most professional crews we've ever seen started on the job at 8:00 am. Mr. Bill and bossman Mark also spent a lot of time at our job to assure everything was going well, and it did. The cost was exactly what was bid, the time to do the job was exactly what was said, the quality of work and cleanup was exceptional, and we even got more than we'd expected. My house was built in 1929. Having recently begun to smell a strong sewage odor, I called EasyFlow who offered a free video sewer inspection. The truck arrived the next day and I watched the video as the camera finally arrived at a blockage where the cast iron had crumbled and left a opening at the top of the pipe. The technician was concerned enough to call two more men in to crawl under the house for an "eyeball" inspection. They took pictures of the bad pipe and also a lake of muddy sewage I asked for a bid to replace all the cast iron with new ABS pipe. The bid was so reasonable that I accepted on the spot. Because of the severity of the problem (my neighbors were complaining by now) they agreed to start the next day and finished up in only two days. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the cost and the speed of their response. read more

We called after buying a 90 year old house, and immediately discovered sewer backing up into the lower bathroom. We live on a canyon, and the line is long and goes down the canyon. It was difficult to clear, even enough to get the video in, and was completely encroached with roots. There was no way this could not have happened before, and we felt it was a non-disclosure issue in our recent purchase. This was verified by the comments from everyone I spoke with. We now don't have the problem anymore, and the company did give us a very competitive price for power clearing and relining the main sewer...several thousands since it was long. The reason for 3 stars: The initial video wasn't recorded, and repeated requests to provide a plumber's statement as to what they found were ignored, and the post work video was in a format that can't be read by any media player available. So, essentially, I have no evidence of the prior conditions, or the finished work done. I therefore have no basis on which to seek compensation for the pretty clear non-disclosure of the sellers. In sum, it was bad, it now works, the price was par....but I can't know what was done or needed. I recommend you ask for a pre-work recording of the video exam (they can do it). read more

I have been dealing with replacement of a cracked sewer line that gets clogged with roots. Some of line under the house I have had replaced by a different plumber that was very costly. I decided to give Easy Flow a try. Jim Cometa came out to my house right on time and was very professional and explained the process thoroughly. He sent a camera down the sewer line to show me what part of the line needed to get the resin plastic liner and gave me an estimate that was better than replacing the pipe and said he could have a crew come out the next day at 8:00 am to do the work. The crew showed up on time the next day and were done by 3:30 pm. They dug a hole 3 feet in diameter and 4 feet deep to access the sewer and they put liner in about 60 feet of pipe. When they were done you would have never known that anyone had been there. All the landscaping looked the same. Jim called to make sure that we were satisfied. Before discovering EASY FLOW, two other plumbing-Drain Service companies had come to my house to examine the same job: back-up in the main, root growth in the old cast-iron pipes. The first two companies suggested major repair work, including pipe-religning that was significantly more extensive than necessary; at the same time, they ignored another major problem in a small section of the drain pipe under the house. Had i gone with either of the first two estimates, i would have spent (literally) thousands of dollars more --and still have a festering problem in my drainage system. The EASY FLOW crew is simply superb. The manager, Mark Butle, came three times and double-checked the problems; supervised the work crew -- and then also stopped by a week after the work was completed to assure everything was done right. Should also point out that Easy Flow fixed/replaced an access pipe that had been incorrectly installed just four years ago (and at incredible price). Anyone having a drainage problem, aging pipes, root-problems, need to relign pipes, clean pipes with hydro-jetting (more effective than "snaking") -- give Mark a call. I used Easy Flow to replace all the cast iron drains under a 1960 house on a slab using trenchless bursting. The quote was far less than one I had just recieved from a well known company that wanted to trench up the slab the length of the house over 2 weeks. Scheduling was easy, Mark and his crew did outstanding professional work, finished the job in 2 days, and left everything clean with surprisingly very minimal intrusion to the house.
