The food was good, but for me the biggest issue is the pricing. I ordered the $12 box, which I felt was a fair price for what you're getting. However, some of the other burger and chicken sandwich combos can get close to $20, and I personally don't think the food justifies that price. It's a good, regular burger--not a gourmet or specialty burger that I'd expect to pay close to $20 for. There are a lot of established burger spots around El Monte offering similar food, so I think more competitive pricing would actually bring in more customers. The other thing that bothered me was asking for ONE packet of BBQ sauce and being told I had to pay $1 for two packets. After purchasing a full meal, charging $1 when someone just wants a little BBQ sauce felt excessive. Overall, the food is good, but I think the value could be much better. Was out running errands today and wanted some good fries. Nothing else, just fries, but they had to be good fries. I am not a huge fan of the super skinny fries, so I always look at pictures at places to see what their fries look like. Louie's fries looked like the kind I would like, so I decided to give them a shot. I decided to go in instead of using the drive-through because I really wanted to look at the menu and take my time since it was my first time here. They had loaded fries on the menu and was told that they are basically the same as In-N-Out animal fries but they add chopped bacon on top. I decided to get a small version of those with extra cheese. The woman at the register was super nice and friendly. The inside isn't huge, but seems like enough tables for dine-in. The fries were really good. A pretty big portion for a small. Loaded was right. There was plenty of each topping and a big portion of fries. Definitely will go back to try some of the other food. Had a pretty eclectic menu from breakfast to burgers to chicken to salads, so plenty to choose from and the prices aren't bad at all. I definitely want to get an order of these fries just plain because they were super good even though they were topped. read more

Came here after seeing a line at another burger place nearby. Surprisingly delicious tenders. Moist and humongous. Their sauce is good too. Better than bigger named tender places. My husband ordered the sourdough chicken sandwich which was delicious as well. We ordered at the drive thru very nice friendly customer service. The ordering speaker is right next to busy street so make sure you speak louder so order can be heard clearly. But it's nice you can see the cashiers at the window when ordering as well. So I have to be honest in my reviews. No bull. Just the truth. In terms of burgers I reviewed in the area. Arts would be #1 Apollo Burger in Temple City #2 Eat Fantastic and Louie's would probably be tied for third. In terms of burger quality. Felt this place applied too much butter, too much grease which overpowers the flavors of the meats. The fries had a cheese dump, with the only pros being the grilled onions more savory than In-N-Outss. That being said. The Monster Fries were again too greasy, and this is part of the issue with Eat Fantastic. Lack of a balance. Bun quality here is a bit hard, would prefer Brioche, softer Buns, Hawaiian King even. Now if you factor in In-N-Out and Shake Shack, this list would look like: #1 In-N-Out it's the ratio, to patty quality, to buns, but you could definitely taste the meat quality difference. #1 Arts is up there with In-N-Out #2 Shake Shack #3 Apollo #4 Eat Fantastic & Louie's Now if you throw in Gourmet Burgers, we're talking 20.00+ Umami Burger Costa Mesa when it first opened 15 years ago (the original unwatered down Michelin version of Umami Burger not the remnants of the chain today, was one of the best burgers Ive tasted in this lifetime). Father's Office in Culver City from 15 years ago Hopdoddys in Dallas TX last tried in 2018 Would make it to my top 3 list Unfortunately, restaurant quality is very hard to maintain on a long term basis and that's where In-N-Out truly takes the crown. The portions were great, the food was fresh and flavorful, and for the price you really can't beat it! The teriyaki plate was especially good! I seriously couldn't get enough. I didn't finish them and left them there. French toast was diabetic sweet - powdered sugar, condensed milk, plus syrup. Way too sweet. I informed staff of French toast and they were nice enough to make another batch on the house but served plain and butter on the side, but there was no syrup on the side. The inside can use some wall decor and not plain white walls. Feels a bit sterile. Maybe some plants that hang long from the top where the red lips are. I've eaten here multiple times since they opened, and I've genuinely enjoyed everything I've tried. There isn't a single item I've had that I wouldn't recommend. The menu is just the right size with plenty of good options. I do kind of wish they had shakes though, I think it would pair great with their burgers and chicken. The Crispy Chicken Supreme was delicious, the chicken strips are juicy and a nice size, and the Monster Fries are loaded and tasty. My favorite so far has been the BBQ Western Burger. The staff here has been friendly every time I've visited. It's nice to see a business doing well in this location, and I really hope that Louie's sticks around. The last place I really enjoyed here was Flames, and I heard it's the same owners, which is great to see. The only downside, and it's been the case with every business that's been in this building, is the parking lot. It can be a bit of a hassle, but it's definitely not enough to keep me from coming back. I'll definitely be a regular here, and one of these mornings I really need to stop by and try their breakfast because it looks really good read more

The burger came with all the usual ingredients... the burger is a mix of In-N-Out and local burger spot. Overall, it was tasty but could use a little more seasoning.
