Food was a 7/10 for a to-go experience! The orange juice tasted not so organic. Service was quick. Ambience was actually really nice. I would definitely recommend for a quick airport meal.

Seeing that Greenleaf locations in Costa Mesa have closed I was stoked to see the Greenleaf at John Wayne Airport. I really wanted the Chop Chop Salad which wasn't on their menu though so that part was disappointing. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was filling and delicious though so glad I got it. Order first at the cash register and then find a seat in the dining area. Also an option to sit at the bar. I wish there were better food choices in Terminal C where I was flying out of. All the good food seems to be between A & B!

    Zorra the great Greek salad
    Michelle L.

I got the Greek Zorra the great salad to go and then when I looked it looks like they used real cheese and not the vegan one that looks more like a feta. I ended up not eating it since I was too afraid this was real cheese. I would probably order again but double check they only put vegan items. I have had this salad before and this is not what the vegan cheese looks like. I also got the garlic fries and they were pretty undercooked.

Recently tried the vegetarian burger from Greenleaf during my transit through the SNA airport. I was impressed by the inclusive dining options and the quality of the burger they offered. Burger was delicious and might just become my staple dinner when I fly out of this airport. Service was quick & friendly. They have a small bar seating area and a couple tables if you wanted to dine there.

My favorite restaurant at SNA. All their food is good and they use fresh ingredients. My go to is the paleo bowl. I also enjoy the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich.

Always my go to spot for a light breakfast or lunch before flying out of SNA. They have great quality ingredients, healthy fun yummy options and friendly staff with quick service. I ordered the kitchen sink Cobb to go. They confirmed if I wanted dressing in the side and it came out with wonderful presentation and a greta mix of ingredients.

    Chicken pesto panini - delicious!

I was happy to see a Greenleaf Kitchen in John Wayne Airport. Grabbed some food to go so I could get to my gate and enjoy it. I ordered a chicken pesto panini and their sweet potato "fries". The wait was OK, just about 10+ minutes. I took my food to my gate and sat down to enjoy it. The panini was incredibly delicious! The crisp of the edge of the bread was perfect. The flavor was great. In the short walk to my gate, the "fries" had become steamed, julienne sweet potato. They were in a clam shell and not very crisp I have to guess to begin with. Ok, not great. They might have been good if they'd been packed differently, or if I'd eaten them there. This is where the star get taken away. I went back to address this. The young man at the counter immediately became defensive, saying they are baked and not fried. Ok, still doesn't help me. He steps back and acts as though I'm personally and physically attacking him. I started to tell him to get me a manager, but saw others at the next counter and stepped over to get their help. The person at the counter simply asked what I'd like to do - please refund me. And she did. Definitely won't order the "fries" again. Might return on a future trip. Hopefully they take the suggestion of different packaging for the fries.

Nice bar & restaurant plus to go order place. Small but great choices of menu in both food and beverage plus cocktails. You can order via to go area or directly to the bartenders. The food is great, I ordered breakfast bacon & egg sandwich. It was tasty and big and well make. Also I got prosecco too. Nice service and quick turnaround. Nice, simple and modern clean cut decor with airy and spacious. They have seating area with tables, high tables, booths and bar seating. Overall nice and yummy. Yes it's airport prices so don't be surprised.

Great healthy option for a well balanced meal before a long flight. I stopped here before flying to the east coast. They have yummy oat milk iced matcha on tap and a good mix of sandwiches, bowls etc. There is one line to order for dine in or to go which moved quickly. I was fortunate to get a table but there isn't much sitting. Some ate at what appeared to be a full bar. I enjoyed the bowl with chicken, grains, and avocado.

Breakfast Burrito w/ Avocado Pesto sauce

I don't even write reviews, this burrito was so pleasantly surprising to eat. For airport food, this was perfect. The sauce pairs perfectly with the burrito and I will be getting another one next time I'm here. Took about 5-10 mins to be ready, which is pretty efficient. Don't second guess the burrito!

SNA Terminal A, Ca. For airport breakfast this was actually quite good. But then the expense at 6:00 am was quite the awakening about the tyranny of airport food and beverage choices. My granola and fruit parfait was a decent size and the server even gave me an extra cup of granola. The fruit was fresh and plenty of it. The Yougurt was an excellent slightly sweet style. It turned out to be a hearty breakfast. $12.95 The Duke is a nice combination plate of eggs, bacon, potato's and roasted tomatoes. It is a large breakfast and everything was delicious. $17.60. They are front and center as you leave the security check point, hard to miss.

My favorite spot for an airport dinner! The sandwiches & cocktails are consistently good (tough to pull off in an airport!) and the service is great. They have plenty of seating to get work done will you wait for your flight or if you want to relax and watch the sun set. They also have Togo options!

    Chicken pesto panini

Great spot for airport food. The dishes came out quick, staff was friendly and accommodating, and the portions were hefty. You order at the cashier, grab a seat, and the food runner brings out the food. Chicken pesto panini was nicely toasted, had quality chicken, and the sprinkle of arugula went well with it. The 305 bowl was also good. Most of the shredded carnitas was tender, just a few pieces were a little dry. It came with a salsa, but should come with more of a creamy sauce. Also comes with a 2 little corn tortillas, but I think 3 to 4 would be better with the portion of the entree. The bar area is nice, with a good draft beer selection and a few tvs.

    Coffee. Straightforward goodness.

The food was as good as it looked on IG We went for lunch and there was minimal wait times when they open for lunch at 11am. We made some stops and i consistently checked the wait times online. We ordered the spicy (wasn't spicy IMO but had a little kick to it) shrimp won tons, CHIFA fried rice with chicken and the Saltado with Filet Mignon (sub rice for garlic noodles for a small fee). Everything was delicious and good portion size. So many other items I would like to try. Can't wait to go back!

Why was the reservation accepted then? When I got to Verdant, there was no one in sight. The restaurant was empty and there was 1 other party, but no staff. I actually ended up making my way near the kitchen, and that's where I found Christian, who appeared really busy. He explained that they had a wedding later that day and had to close at 1pm for set up. He still sat our party and was very kind, accommodating and helpful. He gave me a great tip and said when making cafe reservations, it's best to call ahead, because they do sometimes have event buy outs. As far as the ambiance, it is a really beautiful space. But, it was SO cold. It seemed like the AC was on full blast. The food was pretty good, but the menu seemed to change since I was there last.

I also had the white crab white omelette with spinach and substituted the fruit for hash browns. The omelette was light and fluffy, and the crab added a subtle sweetness. The hash browns were crispy and satisfying. Cappuccinos were great, rich, smooth, and perfectly foamy. Just note they are nine dollars each, which feels a little steep, but they were well made. Service was pretty good overall, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, a solid four stars. Great atmosphere, quality brunch options, and a polished setting that feels perfect for a relaxed weekend catch up. I would come back for the vibes and the cappuccino.
