Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

All of the sides are really good too. Tip: Order online and don't call. I called 8 times trying to get an update on my online order and they didn't answer once. When I arrived they had everything ready and it was all correct though.

It was worth every penny. Will be coming back in a while I need to get rid of my big back though. Everything was seasoned perfectly. We waited nearly an hour for half of a Philly cheesesteak and some chicken wings before finally requesting a refund and leaving. While we were there, almost no food came out of the kitchen, and nearly every table was just waiting. The restaurant itself also felt dirty. The music and atmosphere were nice, but that wasn't enough to make up for the experience. I tried to offer constructive feedback while getting my refund, but it didn't seem like management was interested in improving the customer experience. I was told everything is "made to order," as if that alone justified the excessive wait. I don't buy that. Good leadership and an efficient kitchen can produce fresh food without making customers wait an hour for basic street food. Unless you have a lot of time to spare, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I genuinely hope they make some changes because the place has potential. 1 Table With Food...barely - no lies in my review. Instead of trying to discourage an honest review, improve your business and efficiency of it. Had to add pics since they're playing victim on Facebook. I don't know who they paid for the other reviews but mine is real.

They had a system and they were working it during their equipment upgrades they still were timely and efficient. The food was fantastic make sure you get the Kool Aide. Parking is a little difficult as in you have let earlier customers out but it's so worth it.

My daughter, a family friend decided to drive across town to try Wingfield's. She and I split a double cheeseburger. She thought I wanted a double when she overheard me describing one to our friend. Who , by the way, ate a whole one with fries. She and I shared a cheeseburger ( which neither of us could bite into the burger normally). We bit into the sides of the enormous cheeseburger. We also shared an order of onion rings. Another item that was hot, crisp, with the largest rings I've ever seen. The burgers are deliciously flavorful without being over powering. They are greasy and amazingly delicious. Take or wear a bib plenty of napkins. This tiny place has little to no parking. Patrons have an understanding of double parking, blinkers on, being courteous to let cars behind you out. Would I go again? Absolutely! It's a hole in the wall that isn't by any means fancy. However, once you've experienced one of their burgers, you will go back. No wonder they were highlighted on "The Texas Bucket List."
