Realest Philly cheese steak and chicken blunts with fries
    Tracy S.

Welcome to my world let me first say the staff is very polite and nice the is food is real tasty and good my first visit was a cheeseburger to try them out and it was the bomb haven't had a home cooked burger since I left my own kitchen this time I got the 3 blunts ,lawd who came up with these names haven't smoked in 20 years but after eating these I've relapse and I also got the realest Philly cheese steak and fries it has a great taste and what takes it over the top for me it's not greasy thank you Jesus ,and the fries are good too again I will say the food is good but when I walk in that place I truly feel my age ,cause the music is to loud keep up the good work God bless You all

I ordered from Southside Steaks & Cakes in Dallas, and the food itself was outstanding--some of the best in the city. Hot Lemon Pepper Wings: Phenomenal. They nailed the crispy texture, and the hot lemon pepper seasoning had the perfect punch of heat and zest. The Fries: These were a huge highlight. You can taste the difference they use real potatoes, and the seasoning blend they toss them in is absolutely amazing. Constructive Feedback: My only issue was that I did not receive the drinks I ordered.

One word WOW , I will no longer buy wings from wing stop for my family I will be coming here . Great atmosphere , great staff and fantastic food , this is a must go to , not to mention the guy taking the orders at the front very nice guy everything he recommended was a hit .... We planned to take the food home and eat but I made the mistake of tasting ONE French fry and I was hooked , seasoned perfect I'm not sure what kind of wings I had but you can't miss on any of there wings ,my niece wings was the bomb to .People the music was a vibe happy people happy customers you could tell this place really care about the customers because the food was made to perfection .I will be bringing the family here .

The staff is always very nice and there to help you make a decision when you're conflicted. The wings are really good but I don't recommend the kitchen sink flavor. The cheesteaks are great. I'd recommend more fries with the combos. The pre-rolls (egg rolls) need some work. They didn't taste like anything. Kool aid is bomb and they have other drinks to choose from too.

Looks of for a Philly etc joint. Music was a little too loud for me but the customer service was amazing. Now to my burger and fries fries soft hot but sweet now the burger WOW hot and very good. Yum!

The fries and you can see they are not cooked evenly as some are light others are dark and burnet and they tasted dry.

I wanted to love this place and had really high hopes for it as well however this place missed the mark. We walked in and the place has a whole vibe of its own. The music is pumping loud, you got folks at tables playing games and the line went to the door. I had heard great things about this place so I decided to stand in line and wait. We waited for more than 15 minutes in line where the cashier seemed to be talking and chatting with each customer (great customer service being given I guess) but this line ain't moving. We finally get near the front and I attempted to pick up the menu on the counter and a little girl behind the counter basically slapped her hand down and stopped me. Cool, maybe I'm not suppose to move this one so I grabbed the other menu so I can know what I want before I get to the cashier. We order our food (they get your number and will text you when your order is ready) and take a seat where we proceed to play games while we wait. Now I will say that by the front door there is a sign letting you know that they are not a fast food but they prepare each order as it's ordered and recommend that you run an errand, go chill in your car or take a seat and play a game. We waited an hour for the food. Yes, a whole hour for 2 sandwiches, fries and a kids meal. So let's talk about the kids meal: it stated that it's two sliders (and I specifically asked the cashier two small sandwiches) with fries and he said yes, however I was also charged for a drink that I didn't ask for. However when we picked up the food I didn't have a drink and I had to ask the guy where do I go to get my drink and he reached into a cooler and pulled out a bottle of what looked to be red kool-aid (which we don't drink). So we get home and these sandwiches left me feeling like I just got GOT! The kids meal looks like a hamburger bun (not two sliders) with some greasy meat on it and a slice of yellow cheese slapped on it. The fries were even worse - they were so over cooked that they were dry and even burnt in places and covered in what I'm assuming is season salt. I took this as a loss and ended up tossing it. Disappointed doesn't even being to explain how I'm feeling right now.

First time here. I went for the Philly Cheese Steaks but was informed that for 28 days they would sale them only at the fair. That doesn't make a lot sense to me. What about the people that don't want to go to the fair. Guess labor cost is too expensive. So, I decided to get the wings instead. $10-20 The wings are some of the best I've had!! DELICIOUS!!! The carrots with the wings go great together!! The Jay Drink was too sweet for me. The customer service was great. Ellis has a great attitude and he tells you everything about the different seasoning and sauces!! The food was a little slow coming out . Great vibe, nice music.. total package!! Try it!! You'll love it!!! I'll have to come back for the cheese steaks someday.

Saturday 2ish. We waited 20-25 minutes Ordered: Philly cheesesteak plain x2 One large fry 2 of the daiquiris , one a true suicide with all 3 flavors mixed. She said she liked it. I had the green and blue flavored mixed. It tasted like cough syrup but baby listen. It did what it was supposed to do (disclaimer, I had a Monaco prior). The cheesesteak was basic. I just expected more. 3/5 Then damn fries though????? Yes. Yes again. I'm not a fan of hand cut fries at all, but these surpassed wingstop for me. 4/5 The drinks -- only get them if you've already been drinking and need that last push. They are $8 and not worth that. The establishment- parking was shared with several other businesses. Inside, we sat and waited at a booth. They have games (uno, dominos, connect 4, rubics cube, etc). The uno cards were mad dirty. I had to go to the restroom to wash my hands before I ate. Bathroom was a 2/5. The soap (Walmart purchased pump soap) was filled with water. I washed my hands 2-3 times to get a lather. The paper towel dispenser was empty. There was a small bit of paper towel on TOP of the dispenser. Exposed. Nah- the bathroom isn't it. I feel like they should check on that often. One person stall. Didn't give us napkins or ketchup . Luckily the fries didn't need them. If I returned, I would for the fries loaded with Philly cheesesteak. I don't need the sandwich again, I don't think. I wouldn't have to return, though.

Yelp led us here before going to see To Kill A Mockingbird in Fair Park. Restaurant is located in a strip mall that may be a little off putting to suburban dwellers. Inside of restaurant has several booths, a handful of 4 top tables, and a bar counter with row seating. Restaurant stayed consistently busy while we waited on our food. Daughter had the Northside which had a cloud of cheesy heaven over meat and banana peppers. Only negative was she would've loved more peppers on the sandwich. The Plain Jane was a classic Philly Cheese Steak with mounds of perfectly seasoned steak. Chicken, bacon ranch was juicy and tasty. Also tried the Kool Ranch and 14k wings. They were perfectly cooked and sauced. Bone in wings can be light on meat, but these were very meaty. Our family had mixed reviews on the fries. These are hand-cut fries served plentifully as side. The potato part of the fry was cooked exactly as fries should be cooked. The split decision fry reviews came from the seasoning. The fries were covered in spicy sugary dust that got all over the wings and sandwiches. The young woman working the counter was very professional AND kind. She offered suggestions to make sure we had the best version of our orders. We did end up eating in our car because the volume of the music was painfully loud in the seating area with chair jarring bass. I survived front row Metallica with less eardrum damage than I received waiting on our order.

Black owned and oh so tasty! Now, is this the healthiest place you could go.. no but you already knew that lol Let me tell you, this meal hit the spot in so many ways! It was seasoned, meaty, great amount, and so flavorful. I had the dime bag and one pre rolled blunt for my meal. When I tell you it was the best take out food I have had in a minute. Perfect size as well. The wings that came with the meals were some of the best they I have had in Dallas so far. The Steakchos was also a hit and I would get again. The Cheesesteak itself was a little dry, but just needed some type of sauce or mayo. The only downfall was the dessert. Don't get me wrong it was good! However, the size was small for the price. It was more of a half of a piece of cake. I will def be back!

Kitchen sink wings and Steak and Chicken Philly. So bomb!!

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.
