The texas toast burger was good but smaller then expected (made up with salad bar) Eat'n Park was a nice experience, simple but enjoyable. It reminds me of a combination of Denny's and Friendlys back home. The pretzel bites were solid, big portion and 3 dips. The soup was okay - watery and needed salt (which you can add). The burger was fairly small but flavorful. This was okay because the all u can eat salad bar and soup was the value booster - 2 soups and chili plus a wide variety of salad including yogurt, cottage cheese, and pasta salad. Tactically, I stick with an entree and salad bar (4.49), skip the appetizer. You won't leave hungry. My server was friendly and attentive; I would go again. read more

I had lunch today at Eat'n park today. We have eaten there several times this past year. The food has always been good but today I noticed that the food was beyond good! Served quickly and was hot! I also think there was a new cook because everything was better than it ever was. This facility is extremely clean and every waitress in there is so friendly and nice! It's nice to look around and notice the cleanliness of your facility! That's huge! Keep up the good job! We definitely will be back! read more

I ordered a simple meal right off the menu. A breakfast. I ordered wheat toast, and was served some 12 grain toast with seeds in it-which I cannot eat. It took almost 10 minutes to get the server back to call it to her attention and get it replaced. It took them 12 + minutes to replace it, meanwhile, I had finished the rest of the meal (except cantalope). With my meal I received a fruit cup. The honeydew, pineapple and strawberries were fine. The cantalope was musty/moldy. Then they want the customer to give their credit card to the server and let them walk away with it. No chance! With so many of the employees in restauarants using their own personal skimmers and stealing card information, that isn't going to happen. They were not happy about it, but the server agreed to meet me at the register where I paid for a bad meal, and inadequate service. I am sad to have spent money there. read more

I put an order in at 7:13 am this morning, for a tuna melt with French fries, and VIlla milkshake.It was supposed to be delivered at 11:05 am, but was never delivered until 11.40 am. The food was ice cold when I got it. I will.never order or go their restaurant again. read more

Although the waitress was very kind and pleasant the service was VERY SLOW and sporadic. Asked for coffee 3x and finally when done with meal it was refilled. It was not busy until we were leaving. Anyone who knows me, knows that i have been very disappointed in the management of this restaurant. Every bad decision that could be made has been the rule. However, last night we decided to see if they had reorganized. We were met as we walked in. Sat promptly. Met by bubbly Alexus who was prompt for drinks. We had been out all day, so didn't want to eat heavy. We told Alexus that we were going to split a club sandwich and I wanted their ranch chips; my gorgeous wife wanted fries (2 sides go with sandwich). Thinking we would get a plate with sandwich, fries and chips, but NO. Alexus listened to us, and brought 2 plates, each with 1/2 sandwich and 1 side! OMG, she heard what we were doing and made it happen! I like having a waitperson who listens, thinks, solves, and serves! It was overpriced for the quality of food that was served. Service wasn't good and there were only maybe 10-12 people in the restaurant. Our server promptly took our order but after our food was served she only returned once to check on us. We were a party of 4 and none of us got a refill for any of our drinks. I had a drink that was 1/2 ice tea and 1/2 lemonade and it tasted watered down. No flavor at all but I couldn't get anything else because purser never returned except to bring our bill. $68.50 for 2 salad bars, 2 sandwiches, 1 coffee, 1 ice tea, 1 Pepsi, and 1 ice tea/lemonade drink seemed excessive for what we received. What stands out here is a reasonably priced menu and a good sized salad bar. The salad bar alone is over $9 but has lots of fresh vegetables and some prepared salads. I've eaten here a few times now and find the service very slow. The server seems to disappear for long periods of time in the kitchen, strange. The super burger is very tasty. It's like a Big Mac. The bun is really soft. I always get the sauce on the side as it's more like a tartar sauce and I don't want too much on the burger. Their pies are really good. Stopped in on Friday 12/17/21 to try to have lunch. There was no one in line but we were told it would be 20 minutes to be seated. Then 10 minutes later- we were told by another server that it would be another 20 minutes. She said the kitchen was backed up. I guess they're having problems attracting & retaining staff. I appreciate that they didn't just seat us and let us find out that it would take a long time for our orders to arrive... So we left. I was in the area and I usually get the "All You Can Eat" soup & salad bar. I'm averaging that and their "super burger". If I could give less than one for the burger, I would. The salad bar started at $7.99, then went to $9.99, now it's $11.99 .... as a meal. This is the top that I'll pay. If their prices go any further, it will be yet one more restaurant that I'll refuse to visit. It's just cheaper to cook at home now. The one reason that I love to go to the salad bar, is their super fresh watermelon, musk melon, and cantaloupe. Now, we get to the "super burger". There is nothing super about it. The whole burger was no bigger than my fist and the double-decker cheeseburger had one slice of cheese on it. The waitress that brought it, acted like it was the best thing in the world. When I wanted a refill on my soda, she was nowhere to be found even though the place was empty. When it came time to pay the bill, I gave her my standard tip of $5, even though the food, nor service, was worth it. This is a must visit on any vacation to Erie. Wether your eating a full meal or just stopping in to get a famous smile cookie this place doesn't disappoint. Our server was very very kind and attentive. The weekend breakfast buffet is a must! Delicious fresh fruits,yogurt, amazing crispy bacon, fried to perfection corn cakes, the best muffins I've ever had, waffles that remind me of Disney and French toast sticks! Stopped in Erie, PA for breakfast on the way to Cleveland. We were promptly seated. We do not have these chains in Canada, and it felt like a relic from the 90s. They had a breakfast buffet which I guess turns into a salad bar. I decided to try the breakfast for the smiley face waffle. It came with two eggs, choice of meat (went with bacon) and hashbrowns. I also ordered a side of toast as it doesn't come with toast. The breakfast took some time to arrive. Our server apologized but, it took about 30 minutes to arrive which isn't speedy for basic breakfast food. Once the food did arrive it was decent basic breakfast. One of my eggs was broken which is a bit disappointing because, I like to dip my toast in the yolk. The highlight was the waffle. You got to enjoy the smiley face and it was a good waffle. It was sweet, crispy and a good-sized waffle. I would give this place 2 out of 5 based upon service. but, due to the waffle being very good I will bump it to a 3. The knock on Eat n Park was the length of time for food. As a breakfast/diner family restaurant food should be speedy that's why you go to a family restaurant. read more

We finished eating and were ready to leave. Tyler was no where to be found. After 12 minutes he finally appeared from the back. Brought us our check and while wife took out her card, he walked away. He didn't return so wife took check to the front where register used to be. She had to summon manager to pay bill 20 minutes later. We finally were able to leave. read more

Driving through between Rts 79 and 90 it seemed a decent option for a quick sit down meal to break up the drive. I was seated quickly... then sat. And sat. After a while a table near me flagged their waitress and asked where their food was as they've been waiting for an hour for it. It also seemed they had the salad bar and had to ask her to clean their dishes. I heard the waitress say she checked on the kitchen but would again. And she left with the dishes sitting on the table. I tried to make eye contact to at least get my order in and get a glass of water but she bolted. Eventually the other table flagged another server down and asked for a manager, who came back and told them the waitress never put the order in for their food that they waited an hour for, apologized, etc etc and said all the right things so that was good. For them. But the manager didn't come and check on that waitress' other tables to see how things were going. I figured I'd give it another 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile I could see the salad bar offerings. I thought about eating that and leave the cash on the table since I wasn't getting the option to order from the menu. The bar was being attended to often but it seemed kinda anemic and I noticed people were only getting soup so I didn't bother to try it. Eventually another server came and crushed things. I heard him taking care of all the tables around me and trying to get us all caught up. He got my order, it came super hot so he didn't let it sit (note the food is basic and average, considering it's a few bucks over fast food what you get is expected, it isn't going to be great), and got the check to me as soon as I asked for it. I kept my eye out for the manager to see if she was walking through the restaurant and I never saw her face after she helped the other table. That was disappointing. He gets 5 stars. We got seated right away, but then waited a while without even gettting acknowledged. No one even came to take our drink orders. A couple came in a while after us and got waited on immediately. That was the final straw and decided to leave. On the way out we said to the girl at the front counter that we were leaving and she said "that's fine." I am so disappointed.
