People call her mom cause she's literally just the nicest and sweetest woman you can have serve you. We've gone many times and always ask if Mom is available and if she is we want to sit in her section. With one of the few ENP locations in Ohio left, We drive from Cleveland to enjoy the reasonably great food and Connie just makes it that much better. Eat'n Park, a Pittsburgh staple. I have been to one other Eat'n park back in 2019 when we first moved to Pittsburgh and to be honest didn't really feel the need to go back. My husbands grandparents are from here and they eat here nearly once a week. We decided to go with them recently to spend time with them. I got a burger that was super greasy and a little gristly as well. Nothing about it was remarkable. I enjoyed the fries! I went home with some pretty good heartburn. My kids of course got the smiley waffles and for them this was an A+ experience. They are 5 and 3. They ate well and were happy and still talk about going to dinner here and wanting to go back. They enjoyed their smiley cookies as well, but not anything special to me. The restaurant was clean, the service was fairly fast, and we enjoyed the company. To me, you don't go to Eat'n Park for good food. You go to spend time with your grandparents (who think the food is aaaaamazing. The elderly seem to love it), because you're new to Pittsburgh, or because your kids convince you to go. You go because it's inexpensive to feed a family. There's nothing inherently bad about Eat'n Park, which is why I gave it 4 stars, I just don't have a strong desire to come back. read more

We're from Michigan and stopped in for a late lunch. There were five of us, but we were crammed around a small table. The restaurant was reasonably clean, but the salad bar plates were another story -- most were dirty, and it took a while to dig up a clean one. The salad itself was limp and uninspired. The food that followed wasn't much better -- overcooked and lacking flavor. On the bright side, there was a balloon artist entertaining the kids, which was the highlight of the visit. read more

Went today at 10am on a Tuesday, only a few people in the restaurant but we were put on a wait because of a kitchen shortage of help. I get it, however 10min become 20 minutes with no communication and a server acting as a hostess told the couple in front of us to sit down because they were blocking her view in case someone else came in..the tone she had with them was rude needless to say they left and we followed....Do Better!!! read more

This is my first official experience at this famous chain even though I've lived in Pittsburgh part time off and on for YEARS. Prior to yesterday I've only been in with friends and only had coffee and pie other than a sample bite here or there from their plates. This was my first time ordering a meal, trying the salad bar, and trying their famous cookies. I'm pleasantly surprised! I think I'm officially an honorary Yinza now! We planned a breakfast at Kelly O's to satisfy our annual eggs Benedict craving. Apparently many others had the same craving, since Kelly O's was overwhelmed with customers. Unwilling to wait an hour for a table we were forced to go to Eat N Park. They also had eggs Benedict on the menu, but they were a major disappointment, with a thin, tasteless sauce covered with paprika. The breakfast potatoes, small cubes with a mysterious seasoning, were also off-puting. In Ireland they call this 'bare food'. On the positive side, the restaurant is bright and clean and the service was prompt. Prices are low. When we return it will be for a simple eggs and bacon meal. read more

The food and service are always decent at this location. They're so nice to my niece and nephews. I really like the way it was redesigned since we'd last been there. Typical Eat'n Park, and always a no brained when everything else around is fast food. We were seated right next to the salad bar when there were plenty of seating other places, so that was a minor annoyance. Our server was fantastic. It's harder to find a piece of chicken in a bowl of soup, then to find a four leaf clover in a whole field of them because I had three bowls and found two pieces of chicken. Haha we ate at another one yesterday too down the road closer to Pittsburg. We r headed out of town north. Notice that we had soup n salad yesterday and I forgot to ask for my senior price! Could have saved us a few bucks each.... guess we don't look old haha! Today is breakfast. Me: Eggs Bene we shall see. It's one of my fav's. Boy: Chopped steak n eggs. Well our food came out and it looked great! Ok here is the verdict: Eggs Bene was fabulous. Just asked for grilled onions on the taters. Boy I'm full too whew! Bf said the chopped steak was good tasting too. We just had to salt everything as usual. We also had to have another piece of that apple cran pie warmed up! We shared that.... brrrp! It's Eat n Park. You know what you're getting. It's one of my favorite Pittsburgh restaurants.

We visited this location on a recent road trip. The service was amazing. Our waitress was the best we have ever had!! The paper menus were scaled down but we were able to order what we wanted. Our waitress was so on the ball with everything. After we left I wished I would have remembered her name to give her a shout-out but we were in a hurry. I will next time -for sure. I had breakfast - eggs, sausage and hash browns and my boyfriend had the superburger. This was just a quick stop for breakfast but was a truly great visit. Thanks EatnPark. read more

Eat'n Park is one of my favorite casual restaurants. I think that it is far superior to competing businesses such as IHOP, Denny's, and Kings. I visited this Eat'n Park location in Cranberry once when I was traveling for a personal trip. I ordered my breakfast food as takeout. The waffle tasted plain, although the employees did add butter and syrup. The bacon was cooked crispy as I like. The eggs were prepared sunny-side-up as I like. The toast was toasted well and had the right amount of butter on it. Unfortunately, this restaurant was sold out of fruit. Other menu items include burgers and other sandwiches, salads, soups, seafood, chicken, beef, and desserts such as their famous smiley cookies. The employees cooked and brought out our food within a short amount of time, and they said hello and thank-you. read more

I've been coming to Pittsburgh for work for a couple months now and I've seen these diners scattered across the area. I finally stopped in for lunch. I got the soup and salad bar. Most of these places are open 24hrs serving breakfast all day. The salad bar opens at 11:30am and for about $12 you can get all you can eat soup and salad. The rest of the food is standard diner. It had the look and feel of an IHOP to be honest. Salad bar wasn't bad at all, lots of fresh options to include fruit. There were three different soups to choose from. They even make an effort to use local ingredients and mention the farms they came from. All that said, there was nothing that set them apart that would entice me to go back. read more

Let's start with, only if there was a review title. Cutting corners, going down hill We will have to say it has been a few months back at eat n park. Friend was in the mood for the turkey dinner. Thought it would have been a real turkey carved and when supplies would be out they would not serve. Tasty but disappointed it was some other kind closer to the sandwich like turkey. Spouse ordered omelette and requested x toppings. Well I recommend checking your bill as it priced as a veggie and then charged for the sausage and mushrooms. 101 class in waitressing is disclosure. He did not get the veggie toppings plus so substitutions or maybe have even recommended the senior citizen omelette. Last was me. I was so in the mood for salad and the bottomless soup. We all love the eat n park signature soup until now. Salad bar "Aces" it was all the toppings which looked fresh, just no long the mixed greens just iceberg. That day I was ok with that. Now the soup. Chicken noodle was 1st. As I was so looking forward to that spoon scooping the broth I used to know with the modifies.... That first bite. Either the 11/2 cooks GOT to go or eat n park has to admit they are cutting corners. The broth was watery, no heavy yellow broth chicken bouillon cube taste. Oh, and now that bite I mentioned was not the taste of chicken noodle, I would saw a taste of dishwashing soap. So I switched to the winter cold comfort of chili. Color and beans were all there, but there was no meat. So that day call it bean soup and no chili word permitted. To end my story and the context of eat n park bedding to make changes, is the stomach of steel I have. Well the salad bar only meal did not nightly cut it. Only hope they change their ways and fix for a 3month return never sooner until I hear reviews. read more

We were traveling to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving to visit family and staying at a nearby hotel in Cranberry. I grew up in Pittsburgh and have always loved Eat'n Park! We dined there on Saturday 11/24/18. There was no line which is unusual and we were seated immediately in a nice booth. I ordered my breakfast favorite which is Bananas Foster French Toast and their hot Chai Tea! The French Toast was covered with fresh bananas and the Bananas Foster syrup. I would recommend ordering extra syrup on the side because there definitely was not enough but it was delicious! The chai tea is the best I've ever sipped. The service was friendly and fast but I was not offered a refill on my chai tea otherwise our experience was great. I can't wait to come back! read more

Unless you have either a fantastic or terrible experience, it can be hard to write a review of a place as ubiquitus as Eat N Park. So many people have life-long memories of EnP that the restaurant is part of the family. I love my family but sometimes they are so annoying. Today was one of those times. Nothing really to complain about but why did they put cinnamon in the brown sugar? Why did they give me 1 ounce of milk and 2 ounces of raisins? Otherwise an uneventful, normal breakfast experience. And I walked away with my to-go cup of coffee, saving myself a Starbucks stop. And I will be back real soon. Maybe tomorrow! read more

I've lived in Cranberry most of my life. Eat n park has always been a great place to go to. Something happened a few years ago because the food started losing quality and prices rose. I've noticed a decline in the attitude of the servers. The server this time insisted to keep moving the high chair out of the way. Why she needed to be so close to the table I have no idea. Regardless, the typical "smile" that you should see is just a grumpy face and a fake tone. Maybe she's having a bad day - I understand, really. However transferring that to your next table will only make it worse. I wasn't super hungry so I just ordered the cheese fries. To show proof of their decline in quality, just check out the picture. What is it? No idea. Apparently their cheese is clear and slightly tinted. While I feel bad sending anything back, I decided the feedback would be important and had it removed from my bill. read more
