If you're looking for a quick, reasonably priced dinner then this is the place for you. I chose this place because they listed the complete nutritional for each individual ingredient of their meals which made making good decisions. Although I gave in and had a slice of the blackberry pie. The pie was actually pretty good. The crust was buttery and flaky and the blackberries fresh. The salad bar was decent with fresh vegetables and an assortment of standard other sides like coleslaw and potato salad. There was fresh cut pineapple and kiwi. I had the cod, serving was on the small side but was fresh, not frozen. Came with 2 sides, I had the baked potato and carrots. The carrots we're standard steamed baby carrots. All this for $20, so a good value. Update, went back out of sheer convenience and hunger. Had the super burger. It's their answer to the big Mac. Although I omitted the sauce, cheese and pickles. The beef patties we're juicy and tasty. No salt needed. Came with side of standard fries, nothing special. I indulged in dessert again (I'm a sucker for pie). Had the Dutch apple, just ok. Should have had the blackberry again. With iced tea, $14 so a goodnight value. I would recommend for a quick, inexpensive meal, especially with kids. Lots for them to choose from. The wait staff both days were excellent. Kept my drinks refilled (no upcharge), checked back to follow up, and we're friendly and quick. read more

On the positive side, the hostess was friendly and we were seated quickly. Our server also was professional and efficient. The place seemed clean although the silverware needed some brushing up. The food was ... mediocre ... at best. The appetizers were bland and over cooked (we sent them back and had them removed from the bill). My soup was bland and salty. My roast beef sandwich was thin and smothered in bland and obviously out of a can gravy. It was two slices of thin white bread with maybe a half cup of shredded beef. My wife had some pancakes which were soggy and tasteless. My stepson and his girlfriend had sandwiches which were not very good. The food quality has really gone to pot here. Maybe it was just this location. But I remember the pot roast sandwich being more hearty of a meal. It was more like a snack. I was not impressed. Honestly let me just say IHOP and Denny's are alright in their own right, but Eat'n Park is right up there with them, if not, tops them in terms of presentation and food quality. To say Eat'n Park is an upgraded IHOP or Denny's wouldn't do it justice as an independent establishment. If only it wasn't a Pittsburgh exclusive it'd be my go-to breakfast/lunch/post-night of intoxication eats. The main distinction with Eat'n Park is its smiley theme. The menu, their cookies, even their pancakes and waffles have a smile in some form on them. Not only that, they're actually really good (and not in the "will make you feel sick afterwards" way). My one friend who's a native summed Eat'n Park perfectly: Eat'n Park is the perfect place to just show up at 3 AM hammered or come in during lunch for a chill afternoon and it slaps every time. I've never understood the Pittsburgh attraction or obsession about Eat'n Park. It's cafeteria quality food and breakfast served all day. I'm giving it 2 stars because the restaurant appears clean, there's ample parking, and the food is solid 2 star - something in your stomach but very unmemorable taste-wise. I get the attraction of teenagers hanging out there. They can get cheap eats and loiter loudly for hours with no one bugging them. I get the attraction of people pushing walkers eating there - they no longer know any better and social security can comfortably cover the bill. I get the attraction of grandparents taking screaming, ill-behaved grandkids there. They don't have to eat fast food and the kids need training on table manners somewhere that won't offend serious diners, so why not there? What I don't get and never will get is how Eat'n Park continually ends up voted onto the best restaurant lists by Pittsburghers. Seriously? That's just embarrassing. read more

If you go to eat'n park... You know what you're going to get... good food at a great price. At this location in particular, that is especially true. Got the steak salad, a Pittsburgh classic, with fries, eggs, and of course steak. One of the best steak salads in the area. Wait staff (linda) couldn't have been any better. Heated up my brown bread... Brought daughter a smiley cookie. Wish we had eat'n park in Raleigh/ durham, nc! I rate this location as one of the best that eat'n park has to offer. read more

Ha ha, I can't believe I'm reviewing an Eat'n Park...anyway, my father's religion is that of the buffet experience. So when they put the salad bar on sale ($7.99 per person) he launched a campaign. Now, since he takes his religion seriously, we couldn't just go to the Eat'n Park near his house. Oh, no. That one is not good enough. He can rank half a dozen of them. Based on what criteria, I have no idea, but he gave me the choice of Waterworks or Cranberry. I picked Cranberry so I could go look for clearance items at Michael's. We went in the late afternoon on a weekday. For the Alaskans in our group, this was an excellent salad bar. There were multiple lettuce types, including spinach. There was a wide variety of typical salad bar toppings: cucumber, tomato, beans, croutons, cranberries, broccoli, so much I can't recall it all. Of course, there are multiple dressing choices. Everything looked fresh and well-stocked. There was potato salad, coleslaw, and a penne pasta salad. They had vegetable soup, potato soup, chicken noodle soup, and you could ask your server for chili. There was fresh melon and their signature "dish" known as pistachio whip, which, according to my mom is pistachio pudding mixed with cool whip. That sounds nasty so I kept far away from it. There were mini corn, blueberry, chocolate, and spice muffins. For the purpose of making giant salads with tons of stuff on them, it worked well and the soup was good. read more

I feel like I'm celebrating an anniversary since this is my 200th Yelp review. The Marshall Township ENP (aka Cranberry Township) is a relatively stable establishment. If you can think of a dish here, I've probably at least tasted it. I usually go for the breakfast buffet if I'm in at that hour. Seriously, who can turn down enormous, deadly amounts of bacon? I like the muffins they put out, and anyone can tempt me with biscuits and gravy. They also have seasonal fruit out on the bar, too. Lunch and dinner time are your standard salad items, a chicken noodle soup to die for, and assorted cole slaw, pasta salad, and the like. Order from the menu, and I'll point you to the Banana Foster French Toast at breakfast, molten lava brownie for dessert, chicken tenders or alfredo for dinner. They also have a sandwich of the day which is a good deal if you like what they're offering. The buffalo chicken wrap is great, but it has more of a punch than you'd expect from a chain diner. I wanted to give three stars for average service, but I'll give four because this is one of the few places that allow a my mother a gluten-free meal. Other places think that gluten-free means exclusively the bun, but ENP understands that that applies to potatoes, chicken, etc. They even let my mother have tomato instead of meat here. Another added perk is that they have raspberry iced tea with FREE refills. Most of the waitresses are older but not necessarily the most cordial. The food here is filling, but not memorable. I don't have a favorite waitress here because they all blend in. Not in a bad way, but not in a good way, either. I'm always cold in this particular location, whether it's 95 degrees and humid in July or -20 degrees in January. Others have had the same complaint. read more

Eat-N-Park is like Denny's, Perkins Pancakes, and IHOP got together and had a baby. There's nothing earth shatteringly good, but there's also nothing earth shatteringly bad. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Food was below sub par and our waitress was uninterested and didn't even bother to check with us when she clearly heard us talking about how awful the food was while she just stood on her phone behind our booth. Then during checkout the manager didn't bother to ask how everything was. When we brought it to her attention she just looked at us like a deer caught in the headlights and baffeld that we actually had an opinion to express. Even then she had no interest in our complaint and let us walk out without trying to resolve the issue in the slightest. read more

The hamburger was excellent. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table while many others kept being seated. The hostesses are young and have no professional demeanor whatsoever. They kept telling us our table was being cleaned for 30 minutes. They had three hostesses standing around in the front while we waited and at least two managers. I recommend having more people WORKING and less managing a process that isn't working. read more

I am a big fan of the salad bar at this location. But, not this time! And normally I would chalk it up to "oh well" but the total too bad attitude made me consider writing this review. I ordered the Salad, soup and fruit only. About half of the ingredients that are normally on the salad bar were missing. The whole center of the presentation was empty where there were normally salad add-on selections . Most notably, for me, were the absence of the blue cheese crumples (reason I come), radishes, broccoli, cottage cheese etc. The iceberg lettuce was in big chunks with the bottom of one had in one piece among the sheds. The farm vegetable soup had scant vegetables and large pieces of bow tie pasta in it. It was never refreshed during our visit. As we go quite often I was surprised to see so many young receptionist, cashiers and waitresses. I ask our new waitress if everyone had quit. She stated that she was new but that they had been hiring a lot of people. I also asked our waitress why no blue cheese and radishes on the salad bar. She went to find out and stated that they had "run out". I asked to see the manager but was told she was busy in the kitchen " cutting up things". When I checked out the cashier was a young, young guy! I complained about the salad bar and he stared at me with a confused look and said he was sorry. I hope I can update this report in the near future and hope this is not the new trend. We have a new Jason's Deli that just opened. I do not like their salad bar as well but could change my thinking if eat n park does not improve. This is not a good time for eat n park to go cheap! read more

Had a very nice breakfast here with my parents. I love Eat N Park. We don't have them in California. This place is between the airport and my parents house, so we stop here often when I'm in town. The breakfast selections have added some healthy options as well. read more

Honestly a great restaurant with a lot of good people working. Food is good and most of the workers want you to enjoy yourself. My only complaint would be the blonde waitress Linda. She runs around and is extremely rude to the workers and customers. I really can't believe she has not been fired! I also saw her scream and flip out on the general manger back in the kitchen. What restaurant manager allows their workers to talk to them like that? The whole restaurant heard her! Also the server banking is a mess. How do they expect their servers to bus their own tables, take checks, and handle their own money? Had to wait over an hour to get our check! We felt so bad for the poor waitress running around. We have been to the Cranberry location twice in the recent months. service has been on the decline. Waitress was rude..... had 7 people with us ... she didn't turn in the 2nd persons order that she took. When she saw that person didn't have a plate she asked what was ordered took so much time to replace that order the others were already done eating. She brought a cup of watery soup as a "peace offering " without asking if the person would even like it.
