One ordered the chicken salad with the goddess I ordered the veggie wrap with a few subs and another worker ordered cafe ceasar salad And one more order was melrose wrap So first thing first parking was a beast i had a literal confrontation with another person over parking which was so stressful and the parking guy/security guy only intensified the situation but it was over just as fast as it started. After that i was able to get out and make the order for my food. The lady at the window was so kind and helpful she made the experience i had with parking all worth it. I waited about 15 min which wasnt too bad i only made the order there as opposed making it online because of the subs. Now the food was simply amazing. She made sure i had plenty of sauce utensils and ect. Every single solitary bite was so delicious and the food had a very fresh appealing taste. I def recommend calif chicken cafe 10/10 for those that have never been here just plan accordingly as far as parking but the food is worth it.

Shook the box to mix it all up. Food is outstanding! You can taste the freshness of these salads! Great salad, gives you a sense of eating healthy! Kudos to this place, did not dine. Can't give a 5 star rating since it was only pick up. Definitely come back if I am in the area.

I forgot the name of the person helping but she was super friendly and helpful! Shout out to her…read moresince she was so kind to let me know they dog friendly. I would recommend the spot, they have a parking lot that they share with F45 so depending on when you come, could be full but you can always park on Sepulveda. Food was fantastic, I like the garlic yogurt sauce with the Mamani and the tuna salad was delicious. They have protein shakes (they're right across from F45 so genius move on their end) with the option of whey or pea protein. Seems like a new local business so definitely go to give your support! The staff is really friendly and nice. Biggest tip: if you're walking or didn't park in the garage, the entrance to the place is a doorbell you ring on the gate next to the bus stop. I circled around twice until I finally noticed that.

Persian café with lots of free covered parking, outlets, and wifi, but okayish drinks and food…read more For my drink I got the Pistachio Cream Matcha and the matcha flavor was pretty weak. It was more so a sweet pistachio milk with a hint of matcha. Pistachio flavor was good though. A solid option if you want a matcha, but don't want a "real" matcha lol. To eat, the baba's chicken caesar wrap and that was okay as well. It tasted pretty healthy which I do like, but a lot of the components made it feel like I was eating cardboard. The creamy sauce did help though and I loved the crunchy and refreshing side salad. Interior and bathrooms are pretty clean with a good amount of seating, tables, and outlets. The baristas here were super nice and welcoming. The music can get a bit loud though especially the one coming from the fitness room it's connected to. To park, you just need to follow the signs inside the building for the free covered parking. Solid study spot with decent drinks and food. I would consider coming back.

tl;dr skip the much-hyped beef tongue; the delicious koobideh far outclasses it in flavor and value…read more To the unsuspecting eye, Attari Sandwich Shop is a hole in the wall on a busy block of Westwood. But those in the know recognize that Attari's enclosed plaza is the epicenter of Tehrangeles, the Los Angeles Persian community. Attari (referring to a traditional apothecary in Persian) opened in 1979 as a sundry shop before shifting its focus to counter-service eats. Across the broad menu, the Beef Tongue Sandwich has been Attari's best-selling item for decades, and it's routinely ranked among LA's must-try sandwiches. Attari's entrance is tucked around the corner on Wilkins. A corroded metal gate separates the street and sidewalk from the spacious, inviting patio. Colorful umbrellas spring from sturdy tables, and large potted plants are pressed against nearly all available wall space. The outdoor area is comfortably breezy and shaded, even in the summer. Additional seating is available inside the cramped, air-conditioned shop. The whitewashed walls are sparingly decorated with Iranian artwork and framed Attari accolades. Classic Persian-language tunes intermix with multilingual chatter. My partner and I visited for an early weekend dinner, and we were able to order immediately. We opted to share the signature Beef Tongue Sandwich and a Koobideh Kebob platter with Zereshik Polo (barberry specialty rice), and our food was prepared in about 10 minutes. The sandwich combined tender meat with a crispy roll and tangy pickles, but the result felt somewhat dry. Ultimately, it was a rich garlic aioli away from being heaven. Meanwhile, the koobideh (grilled ground beef) was addictively juicy and flavorful. The rice was generously loaded with dried barberries, but the uniquely sweet flavor was one-dimensional. The sangak flatbread fell flat; it served as little more than a conduit for more interesting ingredients. Our bill approached $50, and the portion size was large enough for leftovers. While the forgettable beef tongue wasn't worth the hefty price, the delectable koobideh dazzled -- it would be at the top of my hit list if I were to return.

Attari is hands down the BEST Persian sandwich shop in all of Tehrangeles. Not even close. The…read moresecond you walk in, it feels like stepping into old-school Tehran nostalgia mixed with modern LA energy. The sandwiches are unreal -- packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, messy in the best way possible, and somehow taste exactly like the sandwiches we grew up with in Iran. Everything from the sauce combinations to the pickles to the bread tastes intentional and authentic. You can tell this place was made by people who actually understand Persian food culture instead of trying to "Americanize" it. The vibe is also perfect. Loud, chaotic, warm, nostalgic, cool without trying too hard. It feels like Iran and Los Angeles had a baby. As an Iranian, this place genuinely feels like comfort and home. Every time I go, I end up smiling halfway through the sandwich because it tastes like memories. Attari isn't just good Persian food -- it's Persian culture done right.

The eggs were nice and fluffy, the beans had a good flavor to them, and the ranchera sauce was amazing. There were, however, a few downsides that make this a bit overpriced for me--personally. I would have like to have seen more ranchera sauce in ratio to the eggs. If anything, I probably gobbled the sauce in 2 bites and was left with most of the bowl ranchera-sauceless. I also think it would be nice if they gave an option to have a single tostada in place of the four tortilla if we opt in for the bowl option. It would give the dish a nice crunch component and would be perfect for people who don't want too much tortilla! MATCHA LATTE 9/10: The matcha latte was really good! I got it sweetened lightly with brown sugar and it was amazinggg. It had a subtle sweetness to it and the matcha flavor was prominent, bold, and smooth. I definitely suggest getting the matcha here!
