Hands down the best pasta in LA. The Alfredo sauce pasta with chicken is amazing, and the pasta is perfectly cooked.

Just saying...if you don't need to wait in line, make a reservation or be seen by others in order to enjoy a great meal, then this is your stop. Great pasta and sauce that's ready to devour in minutes. ENJOY!

Robbery bite-size shrimp where is the sauce?
Jean F.

It's unbelievable that a Pasta cafe specializes in pasta serves such horrible pasta really l can't believe two of the popular pasta dishes tastes the same way and prepared the same way no seasoning lack of taste & the most unfortunate point No sauce on the pasta, impossible how could that be so when what makes pasta is the sauce how do you serve pasta with no sauce? The chicken pasta dish had very few & tiny pieces of chicken and extremely dry just ridiculous. The Shrimp pasta did not have any sauce as well and it was very dry and the shrimp size were extremely small & rubbery to the taste when chewing the shrimp. It's a definite no for me, it wasn't worth it pricey for the dishes. The containers didn't absorb any sauce what a disaster for dinner.

ROMA OMELET

First time. Got the Roma omelette. Food was good and service was amazing. The chief in the back asked me what kind of cheese bc it comes with Swiss and I'm not a Swiss fan. Lady took my order. Recommended something for me to try. Place is very clean. Nice music playing. I would come back. Need to try the sandwich and pasta.

Linguine with cheese sauce and meatballs

This is a very cute pasta place where you can customize your meal. There's a nice seating area inside facing Robertson. I had linguine with 4 cheese sauce, meatballs and garlic bread totalling $27 with a Sprite. I also liked the Owner/Chef was there serving customers unlike alot of places now where you never see an owner. Service was also fast. I subtract a star because meatballs are $5 for only 2 very small ones and the garlic bread was a very small portion with not enough garlic for my liking. Recommended especially for lunch.

Cute place where you basically chose your protein, noodle and sauce. Very simple and easy and affordable for the area it's in. It's quick. I do wish they put more protein in the food but overall it was good

Farfalle (small)

Cute little hole in the wall that opened just this month. 1-2-3 keeps pasta simple, build-your-own style. For COVID safety measures, hand sanitizer is provided. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We stopped by for a bite while exploring the area near our hotel. Quite a small lot, with humble, homey Italian decor inside. Exceptionally short wait, only 5 mins for our shared dish. Staff were courteous and kind. FARFALLE (small, w/pink alfredo, shrimp, and parmesan): Pink sauce done right. Perfectly balanced, creamy and tangy, clung to each piece of al dente pasta perfectly. Shrimp was flavorful and tender. For $15~, really not a bad deal at all. Funny to see pasta advertised in Chinese takeout boxes. Not much food competition nearby as Robertson seems populated with mostly nail and hair salons-- definitely worth checking out after a beauty session.

Rigatoni with Aglio E Olio (added Parmesan).

Honestly, it worked out perfectly because they had AC and it was HOT in Beverly Hills that day lol. The inside of the restaurant was actually really beautiful too! I loved the decor and the vibe felt way nicer indoors. Looking back, we probably should've just asked to sit inside instead of outside because of the heat The food was oh so so so very good! Everyone in our group enjoyed everything we ordered, from the appetizers all the way to dessert. HIGHLIGHT of our lunch: my husband and I surprised my mother-in-law with a bouquet of pink roses, so we asked the hostess if they could keep it in their cooler room until the end of lunch. After dessert, they brought the flowers out for us and my mother-in-law was so surprised and happy It honestly made the whole celebration feel extra special. There are other locations but this I think was the first one and since it was the one I frequented it's the one I will miss. I have so many fond memories of this restaurant. I came here as a little girl with my family because it was casual enough for a well mannered child but fancy enough to please the adults. One time I decided to get into shape. Every time someone asked me out for lunch or dinner I said I wanted to go to Il Fornaio. I would order a bowl of the vegetable soup or vegetarian soup of the day and the Regina Salad. The salad did wild arugula, couscous, avocado, red onions, capers, raisins, and lemon oil dressing. It was a fabulous and filling meal that also kept me skinny. I could honestly eat it every day and never get bored. During Covid I came here and we ate outside on the sidewalk. We enjoyed watching the pedestrian scene and "staying safe" while being able to eat out again. I really missed going out and I felt comfortable here which was important during Covid time. Every Halloween Il Fornaio would have 1/2 price pizza. My family made a tradition to order it. I LOVED this tradition and I'm going to miss it this Halloween. Their pizza was delicious. One time I came here with a boyfriend because they had a cooking class in the back. They had a huge entertainment room in the back of the restaurant. I wish I had a chance to have a special event here to rent it out. We had so much fun as we watched the chef talk about how to prepare each dish and what was even better is that we got to taste it in the end. We ate seabass with golden raisins, baked pasta with eggplant, and a cannoli for dessert. They even had a party souvenir which was an Il Fornaio plate to hang on the wall. Last time I came here was on the Fourth of July last year. It was also dine-la and they had the best deal of any of the dine-la restaurants. Not all the dine-la deals are good but this one truly was one of the best in terms of value for money. It was a three course meal with the most delicious fish entree. Who doesn't love a good deal? We had a fabulous time! Lastly, in recent years they added a happy hour menu to the restaurant and it was fabulous. I did another review on that so I'll keep it short here but the food and drinks were just wonderful. I will miss the friendly waiters who have been there forever. They don't make them like that anymore. Arrivederci to a true "classic"!

There are a lot of pretentious cocktail bars these days with "technique" and interesting ingredients, but falls short in flavor and execution. Dante is not one of those bars. It's the opposite. Seemingly simple and fresh drinks ended up being cocktails that were all mind blowing. 10/10 would recommend to impress friends who like cocktails

After being seated, we waited nearly 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. Not even exaggerating on the wait time. When I ordered a Twist cocktail and asked if it could be made with tequila instead, our server said he would check with the bartender. He later returned and tol us it wasn't possible, so my friend ordered a different drink instead. What was frustrating is that he never mentioned happy hour had ended while we were waiting for him to come back. We were then charged $10 for the original drink we never received, and the replacement drink was charged at full price because happy hour had expired. That didn't feel fair since the delay was entirely on the server's end. To make matters worse, a 20% service charge was already added to the bill, yet the service was some of the worst we've experienced. Between the long wait, poor communication, and incorrect charges, the experience didn't match the reputation or prices of this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it based on the service alone. FYI during happy hour selected drinks are $10

Less is more. But let's talk art (culinary, that is). The dishes certainly deserve main features. To start "the best Caesar salad in LA" and I quote which was certainly true. Grilled octopus charred on the inside and juicy at the center. Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

Of the things we ordered, I really loved the farro salad ($22?) best. Refreshing pomegranate seeds are mixed with the farro and give the salad an added crunch. Fancy restaurant and great quality pictures....they give me Europe vibes. Conrad, the host was so professional and very inviting. We got set right away. It was limited options, but I do like they have an amuse bouche tasting course and then in all the cart side. I started with the truffle fries, which are absolutely delicious and then I got the 36 ounce steak. These are big juicy pieces and they cut it for you table side. I love the wine sauce it comes with. I also got the cannoli caviar and something about me is that I love caviar. This place is definitely expensive taste I think we spent almost $1000 here. We each got two cocktails and then a tequila chilled shot. I got the Hanuto and he got Pinot. The valet was also nice gentlemen as only $20 I believe. Ambiance wise it's very high end, low-lit and romantic. The bartender here walked me through the menu and made a recommendation for the best wine to pair with my meal, which I appreciated. This night's menu featured zucchini blossoms, which I couldn't pass up. They were delicious, don't get me wrong - lightly fried on the outside and stuffed to the brim with cheese. But once my pasta came out, I wish I'd ordered two pastas instead. I went with the signature pappardelle ragu which I still have not thinking about. Fresh, chewy noodles made to perfection, drowning in a rich ragu packed with meat and flavor. Evan Funke is truly gifted and has really created something singular here. I know, crazy, right? But we did it! You'd think just having the Porterhouse would be enough -- apparently it wasn't because we started with bread. At our server's recommendation we chose the bruschetta. Wow, what a fantastic start! The crunchy charred bread topped with the creamy Burrata and house made apricot jam was beyond delicious! Then he asked for his favorite pasta from our last visit -- SPAGHETTI ALL'ARRABBIATA. We can never get tired of this one. The house made pasta coated in that spicy sauce is so satisfying. Then came the steak. Although our server warned us that it was huge, we were still surprised when it arrived. But then came the included sides of fried fingerling potatoes and Ruchetta salad -- to say 'generous portions' is an understatement. I literally laughed at the mountain of salad when it arrived. It was all just incredible. The Prime Porterhouse was at the correct temperature, seasoned well and melt in your mouth amazing. The fried potatoes were hot, crisp and tasty. The salad was so good that the husband ate it -- I couldn't believe it! I tapped out early and in order to leave room for dessert, I had to force the husband to stop. We chose the CROSTATA DI MARMELLATA because of the apricots. We were so happy to have dined while they're in season and incorporated into Mother Wolf's menu.
