It's unbelievable that a Pasta cafe specializes in pasta serves such horrible pasta really l can't believe two of the popular pasta dishes tastes the same way and prepared the same way no seasoning lack of taste & the most unfortunate point No sauce on the pasta, impossible how could that be so when what makes pasta is the sauce how do you serve pasta with no sauce? The chicken pasta dish had very few & tiny pieces of chicken and extremely dry just ridiculous. The Shrimp pasta did not have any sauce as well and it was very dry and the shrimp size were extremely small & rubbery to the taste when chewing the shrimp. It's a definite no for me, it wasn't worth it pricey for the dishes. The containers didn't absorb any sauce what a disaster for dinner. read more

Both the crepes and the pasta were very good. I usually hate cheese on my pasta but for someone reason the pesto sauce with cheese was so good and it was genuinely a new experience for me. As far as I can tell the one guy that is running it gives great service and is really nice. If you choose to eat inside you'll also notice the many decorative pieces around that all have to do with pasta. this really makes this an enjoyable experience to have those colorful art pieces in the ambiance. read more

Ok somebody needs to keep it real up in here. I stopped by because I needed to be in the area for a few hours and needed to eat a meal. I got a simple linguine with bolognese. The pasta is al dente, that's the only pro I will give. The pasta is definitely not fresh pasta, and the sauce is decidedly mediocre. You could easily make a better pasta with jar sauce from the grocery store. Don't waste your time here. It was also completely empty at 7pm on a Friday. I was somewhat optimistic because the carry-out containers and concept reminded me of the very cheap and delicious fresh pastas frequently sold on the side of the street in Venice, Italy, for less than $10...but this was a far cry from that. read more

This is a very cute pasta place where you can customize your meal. There's a nice seating area inside facing Robertson. I had linguine with 4 cheese sauce, meatballs and garlic bread totalling $27 with a Sprite. I also liked the Owner/Chef was there serving customers unlike alot of places now where you never see an owner. Service was also fast. I subtract a star because meatballs are $5 for only 2 very small ones and the garlic bread was a very small portion with not enough garlic for my liking. Recommended especially for lunch. read more

We stopped by for a bite while exploring the area near our hotel. Quite a small lot, with humble, homey Italian decor inside. Exceptionally short wait, only 5 mins for our shared dish. Staff were courteous and kind. FARFALLE (small, w/pink alfredo, shrimp, and parmesan): Pink sauce done right. Perfectly balanced, creamy and tangy, clung to each piece of al dente pasta perfectly. Shrimp was flavorful and tender. For $15~, really not a bad deal at all. Funny to see pasta advertised in Chinese takeout boxes. Not much food competition nearby as Robertson seems populated with mostly nail and hair salons-- definitely worth checking out after a beauty session. read more

The interior was cute, the flower bouquet that made with pasta on the dining table was adorable. These are what we ordered Penne Alfredo with Chicken - The pasta was andante which was my preferred style. The alfredo sauce was light. It was creamy with a hint garlic, parmesan, and seasoning. The sauce consistency was perfect. Full flavor from the sauce in every bite. The chicken had a nice charred, going well with the whole dish. Linguine Pesto with Chicken - The sauce was bright and herby, very creamy and aromatic. It was simple but really good. I personally don't like my pasta saucy and this was perfect amount of sauce. We ordered both dishes in small size. I didn't notice that the small was the kid size but it actually was perfect portion for us. We were content with the amount of food. I got the penne vodka pasta with chicken and it came out to be around $25. The food was... fine, but waaay overpriced for what it is. It's the quality of a pizza/pasta stand you might enjoy at the mall as a tween, but the dishes quickly rack up to $25+ a piece. A medium pasta, plain with a small amount of sauce, packed in a little Chinese food box, is 17 bucks already. Add a tiny handful of spinach, mush, or zucc for $3 each. Add 'meatballs' for $5 means TWO, very small, bland, somehow tough and chewy balls (how can you even make ground beef tough??). And the pasta was chewy, too. Not al dente, but like... gummy. You know that saying, When someone shows you who they are, believe them... The unimaginative name of the place, the dried (fake I hope) dishes of pasta w/ sauce used as decor, the little Italian flags spread ALL OVER the place, should have definitely raised some flags of my own (sorry). We were starving after spending a couple hours at the urgent care next door, so we were down for whatever, not looking for brilliance. But wow, this was zero class, super inauthentic 'Italian' food. For the rich BH crowd, I could see this being a quick and easy way to feed the kids. Maybe that would justify the child's menu food at adult menu prices. I gave an extra star for the friendly service, but I'd never go back. When I think of all the BOMB ass plates of food you can get in LA for 15 bucks, let alone 25... yea no thanks. read more

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while in the area. I wasn't in the mood for anything really so when I saw how you can customize your pasta, I knew I had to come! It is in a cute area with quaint space. The decor and ambiance is very comforting as you feel like you're walking into someone's kitchen with the wonderful aroma of spices. It was very straight forward ordering and I ended up getting the linguine vodka pasta. It was so good with the perfect amount of sauce. The noodle texture is perfect as well... not too hard not too soft. My food was ready in about 7 min after ordering (no one was In when I ordered.) but 2 people did come in after me and their food was ready just as fast. Their customer service is great as well. They are very attentive and hospitable when you dine in. Great place over all and decent prices too. Parking may be a bit difficult as it's on the street but that's everywhere in LA lol.
