We had a tricky flooring issue with about three and a half inches of drop in some areas and met with a few general contractors who mostly complained about how hard it would be. Robert actually took the time to understand the problem instead of trying to upsell us. He showed up about 15 minutes early, reviewed the situation, asked the right questions and set clear expectations for what realistically needed to happen. We got a clear, no pressure quote and an honest game plan. Easy to work with and someone I'd absolutely work with again. There is a reason they have 5 star review on Yelp and Google.

His work is dangerous and sloppy. See just a few photos of some very bad electrical work he PERSONALLY did on my remodel project in Del Mar. He had an incredibly difficult time getting anyone to show up on the job to work, and when they did show up, they were extremely slow and unskilled. He constantly was asking me for up-front payments ahead of our agreed upon draw schedules. When I attempted to have a professional conversation with him, he resorted to yelling, screaming and walking off the job. I was able to get him off the job inside the first week of him working, luckily avoiding major issues on the resale of my property. After offering a fair departure payment to him (which he declined) he made a feeble attempt to collect from me after the fact. He's actually worse than what someone would think of when they hear about a bad contractor.
