The turkey was under 14-16 lbs which was in their post when we ordered it for $280 plus tax. We had to buy extras because the small pumpkin pie wasn't sufficient for a party of seven nor the dinner rolls etc. The turkey wasn't precooked like Whole Foods which is normally order from for holiday feasts. The good: the service was knowledgeable, chatty, and professional. Since we were first timers, the waiter brought six different sauces for us to try. All those sauces were good, but the charred onion was a cut above. My companion loved dipping the delicious chips in the blue cheese sauce. The octopus appetizer was tender, with bright flavors of celery and mild olives. There wasn't a ton of octopus, but the beans were tasty, too. The less good: Lots of upsell. We wouldn't have upgraded to the Wagyu without the sales pitch, and we didn't find it lived up to the hype. It was a good steakhouse steak, not the game changer we were led to expect. The asparagus side was a fail. Quite a skimpy portion, and some of the spears were woody. We didn't even finish them. It seemed like the kitchen only cared about the (perfectly tasty) egg and prosciutto on top. The Pineapple Express mocktail just tasted like pineapple and soda. We'd ordered it largely for the orgeat flavor and couldn't taste it at all. Don't come for an early dinner, as we did, and expect to find many options in the butcher shop. We had hoped to try sausages and other specialties, and they didn't have anything we wanted in stock. I can't believe there are many 5 star reviews to this glorified Applebee's. Weird bar area, butcher shop seemed staged, entry cold and bare, horrible old lighting. This has been my go to steak house for at least 5 years. It's less than a mile from my home at Tivoli Village. The steaks are great, the prices reasonable, and bring your own bottle or two of wine and there is no corkage fee. They are also the only steakhouse in Vegas to offer Hanger steaks, which are delicious. I've lived in Vegas for over 35 years and eaten at most of the steakhouses in the area (T-bones, Hugo's Cellar... and yes some have amazing ambiance or views, but for a reliably good experience for food and service Echo & Rig can't be beat. First time trying Echo & Rig! Came here on a lunch date, and to partake in their Restaurant Week Menu! It's located at Tivolo Village and there is also a location in Henderson. The inside is really cute! They have a butcher counter in the lobby where you can get fresh cuts of meat. Restaurant week menu: First course was Gazpacho which was really good and was a nice cool kick off to the rest of the courses. Second course was a refreshing Palm Salad with heart of palms, shrimp, pepper, onion, and a mustard vinaigrette. The salad was perfectly tossed and the mustard vinaigrette paired great with the heart of palms. Third course was a Roasted Chicken Sandwich & Portobello Fries. I had to sub the Portobello fries for regular fries because they contained dairy. The chicken sandwich was okay, it tasted a bit burnt for my liking. The fries were great! Freshly seasoned, and perfectly crispy. Fourth course was my absolute favorite because it's been so hot out! It was seasonal fruit which consisted of watermelon, pineapple, blueberries, blackberries, and honeydew melon topped with a delicious sorbet. The fruit did not taste fresh, but the sorbet was amazing! Overall I'm glad I was able to experience Echo & Rig. I have been to this location multiple times and had great experiences but my recent experience was not horrible but less than stellar. 3.5 based on untimely service and dishes not quite meeting the mark. We dined here for my son's birthday and initially, they acknowledged him and were attentive. The server took forever returning for our drink orders, and again for our food orders. Whenever we asked for things like extra butter or lemon our food had already gone cold before they remembered. Our small plates were mostly underwhelming. The carne asada bone marrow was sadly light on the marrow and heavy on the citrus and onion. The octopus was charred though the texture was on point, and the bean salad was good. The crab cake texture was soggy and it was not warm. The mushroom soup was good but lukewarm. Our béarnaise sauce came out gelatinated because it was not where it needed to be temperature wise. The ribeyes were tasty and cooked perfectly, and the chips and standard stuffed mushroom cap were fire as usual. The mac and cheese and demiglace potatoes were delicious. My son's girlfriend enjoyed her salmon dish. They cooked it medium just how she likes it. For dessert they brought out an amazing birthday treat with the most delicious toffee. We also tried the berry panacotta. The texture was a bit gelatinesque rather than custardy. It was as if it had been sitting a while. I am fairly regular here and in Green Valley Ranch District. Today is the second time that I got a very sad excuse for a $44 creekstone "prime" NY strip. When I receipt was nowhere near your standard 0 X 1 strip loin steak. I received an odd shaped nerve and gristle filled end cut about 5 1/2 inches wide from who knows what part of the beef. Somebody should probably take the opportunity to provide some training for the cook that put that on the plate. 65% of the time I am very pleased and more than happy to recommend echo & rig, my confidence is waning. read more

We got one of these specialty drinks and that was the best thing of the night. I ordered a ribeye, medium rare and the garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was the right color but the steak itself was not hot as I'd expect. The mashed potatoes were obviously premade and kept at a cooler temp than I prefer. All around a very disappointing meal. Echo & Rig: an affordable steakhouse (& butcher) with great small plate options! First Impression -- We came in Friday night to celebrate our friends birthday. E & R is located inside Tivolli Village shopping center. We entered the restaurant on the 1st floor; the host stand is then front and center and we were kindly greeted and informed our table would be a few more minutes giving us time to explore a bit. Off to the left was a nice size bar that was quite lively. And to the right was their own butcher shop -- way cool and fun to browse while waiting! A staircase (or elevator) takes you up to the dining room on the 2nd floor once you're ready to be seated. The dining room has a modern dark/light mixed look about it, lots of wood elements and chocolate leather, with a spherical chandelier as its statement piece, open kitchen and simple table set up with soft lit candles and white paper topped the tables instead of a table cloth -- this was the one thing I found odd, looked like a bunch of 8.5 x11 standard printer paper stacked across the top of the table...at least use one fluid large piece of paper, super tacky and non aesthetic. That being said, a few of our friends had brought markers for their kids, and it worked out well for them to color on in between dinner. The Meal -- Very reasonable pricing! I was impressed with the menu. Small plates range from $9-$13, salads and sandwiches $16, steaks and seafood $31-$42. The sweet fire cauliflower and the portobello fries were truly fantastic. Kisses to the chef on all the small plates! Caesar salad was delicious! Sad to report, my entree wasn't good.. I had the short rib grilled cheese and my toast was burnt and black, ruined the flavor. But -- I had a few bites of my husbands roasted chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread, and I thought that one was quite good. Definitely need to come back for a date night without the kids and try the ribeye! Didn't do dessert this visit, we were too full -- But they did bring out the birthday man a nice sweet treat and candle. Drinks -- I am a tequila girl, so I went with the "Hot Mess" --perfect balance of spicy and sweet, it was perfection. My husband had the "New Fashioned"..I typically do not try my husbands drinks as we have very different tastes, but he convinced me to have a sip, and I must admit I really liked it. Service -- As soon as we were sat, the manager greeted us. Really personalizes the dining experience and was much appreciated. Server and assistants were swift and consistent; they do full silverware exchange between courses, love to see it. Overall, really enjoyable dinner -- highly recommend! This review is for the experience I received from this restaurant after leaving. I always keep my copy of the receipt writing down my total and tip for this very reason. Some waiters will take out a different amount than what I write down and that's exactly what happened. I wrote down one amount and what was actually taken out of my account was a higher amount. I've called the restaurant many times to get this taken care of. First, I was told that finance handles it and to email them. I never heard back via email so I had to call again. Finally a manager said they would take care of it and issue me a redund. It has been over a week and the refund is still not in my account. I called back explaining and they said "ok, let me transfer you to finance" Oh so now they have a phone number and not only an email? A voicemail picks up saying mail box full cannot accept messages. So I call back to tell them this. The hostess then tells me she's going to keep trying to reach out to the manager or finance, Idk who at this point. If that doesn't work, she said she would call the CFO. Really does it need to go up that high? Take care of your business Echo & Rig. Geez. I wanted to try this place again, but now I'm not so sure. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. From the moment I walked in with my medical service dog, the staff made it clear we were not welcome. I was harassed three separate times by employees demanding "proof" for my service dog - which I legally provided - only to then be humiliated and physically moved from my seat and shoved into a freezing cold corner of their outdoor patio. There were NO heaters, and we were left out there like second-class citizens while everyone else dined comfortably on the same patio.. best part is there was a dog is stroller and that women was not being harassed at all. The worst part? The manager - who should've known better - was condescending, rude, and clearly judged me for having a service animal. Instead of following ADA guidelines and treating me with basic human decency, they made me feel like a nuisance. It was discriminatory, ableist, and outright disgusting behavior. This restaurant doesn't just lack hospitality - it lacks humanity. I would strongly advise anyone who believes in dignity, accessibility, or equal treatment to stay far away. The main area has horrific acoustics with no money spent on any decorative art or anything to absorb sound. The chairs appear to be about $10 and were uncorfable as surprise surprise our food was beyond slow. Unusual lack of hoptiatlity especially in Las Vegas. It has been a long time since I visited Echo & Rig, but I decided to treat myself to lunch here and was not disappointed! The hostess wasn't at her stand when I arrived, so I walked upstairs. The manager (?) seated next right away and service was extremely prompt. I got the grilled cheese short rib sandwich and a side of fries and it was everything I wanted. Cheesy, buttery, crunchy but not hard. There could have been a little more meat, but that's just splitting hairs. I definitely enjoyed my meal and need to return more often! read more
