I have been looking forward to the burger during lunch but it was a disappointment. It was a 1/2 pound patty with the bun. The bun can make or break a burger. Patty was juicy but bun was not soft and no lettuce or tomato. I added bacon and the thick piece came on the side not sliced into the burger. You had a choice of the 3 course menu with appetizers, main course, sides and dessert for $49.95. I added bacon with the burger which was an additional $8.95. I should have ordered it as part of the appetizer at no cost and it would have came with two not one slice. The meal was quite filling. We shared the meal but looking back, I should have ordered the burger a La carte because we ordered shrimp cocktail and crab cake too. 3 out of 5 on the burger and 5 stars for everything else.

2 stars for the burger and thick-cut bacon -- very dry, medium 1/2-lb beef patty, thin bottom bun, super thick top bun, onion on bottom. No cheese because I wanted to taste the meat by itself, and it was disappointingly dry. Very thick and filling, but no flavor. I expected more from a $30 burger. In stark contrast, my $20 burger on Sunday at Gold Nugget (Saltgrass Steakhouse) was soft, moist, juicy and oh so yummy! (Reminded me of my favorite fastfood burger Habit) And the famous Peter Luger thick-cut bacon? While I appreciated the single-piece $8.95 add-on, I've had better and more tender from a Cantonese BBQ shop (crispy roasted pork) which tasted almost exactly the same. All in all, a very dry meal at the Vegas Peter Luger, at least they're generous with the tap water pour (which also tastes a bit odd... )

Another Vegas trip, this time to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. We had originally set up an earlier reservation but had to move it further due to unforseen circumstances but the staff was Bru accommodating. We were seated by the kitchen which we hadn't seen before and it was very inviting and romantic as the lights were dimmed. Our service was great just like the first time. Shared a Ribeye for 2 plus a lump crab cocktail. We started with their yummy bread then our meal was delivered. Our steak was phenomenal and cooked to order perfect medium. We topped off our meal with their signature "Holy Cow"Hot Fudge Sunday and coffee. Wow wow wow. Once again, we were well taken care and will be back.

The place is huge. Great service. Started with bottled still. Table had old fashioned and red wine. They provided an extra can of soda. Bread basket. 9/10. Piping hot. Onion bread was soooo good. They also had rosemary and plain. Shrimp cocktail. 8/10. Large. Fresh. Tasty. Great cocktail sauce. Crab cake. 9/10. Full of crab. Cooked well and tasty. Aioli was good too. Wedge salad. 8/10. Bacon was very good. Asparagus. 9/10. Huge yet so tender and flavorful. German potatoes. 7/10. It was good but heavy in the salt or the sauce that it was prepared with. Steak for three. Great flavor. Well made. Had strip and filet. Free cool chocolate coins. Recommend.

We had high expectations for Peter Luger, and while there were definitely some highlights, the overall experience didn't quite live up to the price. Kimmy and Xavier took great care of us throughout the evening. We saw Xavier most often, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. He also made our anniversary extra special by surprising us with a complimentary chocolate mousse cake topped with whipped cream and a glass of sparkling wine, which was a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. The standout of the meal was, without a doubt, the seafood tower. It was absolutely worth ordering. The generous portions of crab, lobster, and shrimp made it feel like a great value, especially since the crab was already out of the shell and the lobster was perfectly prepared and ready to enjoy. We also loved the mango and raspberry sorbets for dessert--they were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid the $50 corkage fee. I also ordered the Black Cherry Margarita, which was delicious, while my husband enjoyed a glass of the Domaine Laroche Chablis. Unfortunately, the steak was just okay. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out a bit overcooked. The wedge salad and French fries were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. We expected to spend around $500 for dinner, so the price itself wasn't the issue. We were simply hoping the quality would better match the cost. While we enjoyed parts of the meal--especially the seafood tower, desserts, and the wonderful service from Xavier and Kimmy--we left feeling that the overall dining experience didn't quite justify the price tag.

I came for the power lunch which is a great deal!!! I made reservations online and was seated shortly. For $49.95 you get an appetizer, main dish, side dish and dessert. They offer upgrades as well which is also a good value. Service is really good as well. The server was very personable which is nice.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week is where its at. This year, Peter Luger's got a great restaurant week menu. Three course meal for $40.00. Come to think of it, they recently introduced a three course meal call the Power Lunch for $50.00. It's very similar to the Restaurant Week menu but there's more main entree options to choose from with Power Lunch. This restaurant is located right next to the famous Bacchanal Buffet. For our appetizers, we chose the Cesar Salad and their famous Luger's Sizzling Bacon. YES YES YES!!!!! If you're a fan of bacon, THIS IS A MUST ORDER. This isn't your plain ol diner bacon. Thick pieces, charred perfectly. You need to try this for yourself. Cesar salad was delicious as Cesar salad gets. Our main entree, we both got the Broiled Salmon. Comes with your choice of either creamed spinach or french fries. Both fantastic options. The creamed spinach pairs well with the salmon as there's not too much flavor/seasoning to it. Gives your tastebuds a bit more flavor. All I can say about the french fries is I've never tasted a fry I didn't like lol. Portions are big enough for leftovers. I love how they don't skim on your portions even though it's for Restaurant Week. As if you're not full yet...don't forget about dessert. The Holy Cow Sundae's portion was just right. Couldn't finish it but ice cream and chocolate lovers would be in heaven with this. Service was fantastic. Our waiter, Alex, was personable and everything was delivered to our table in a timely manner.

I always wanted to visit Peter Luger but the price was just so steep, so when I found out about the power lunch for less than $50, I had to try it for sure. Make a reservation through open table! It does get busy during lunch time. I had to order the bacon for the app, which was the best bacon I've had. Don't even get me started on the peter luger sauce they give you. It was like a mix of cocktail and bbq sauce mixed together. The burger was also amazing. You can definitely tell that it was dry aged. Loved that this came with raw onions! However, the burger wasn't seasoned that much. For a burger that thick, I wish it was seasoned a little more. It was still tasty though! For the side, I decided to get the creamed spinach while my wife got the fries. Both were solid sides! The fries were thick cut as well. For dessert, it comes with a sundae. Overall, a lot of food for a good price. It was nice and clean inside with a lot of lighting. This was located inside Caesars Palace next to the buffet. All the staff were super friendly as well! Would love to be back for the power lunch!

This is maybe the best steakhouse I move eaten on the strip and I have eaten a lot of steaks on the strip. I got their lunch that came with a Caesar salad, a steak which was $30 extra but worth it and the German potatoes as a side. The steak was served tableside and man it was the juiciest steak I've ever had. I also got an ice cream sundae as a dessert at the end and it was also delicious. This is one place mandatory I must come for every Vegas trip moving forward.

My hubby and my brother in law ordered the steak for 2 to share. The portion is huge and my opinion maybe good for 3. It is very juicy and cooked to perfection! The sides are shareable and for 4 people 2 sides are good enough. They will serve bread to start which can make you a bit full if you keep going.

Staying at Ceasars and of course I had to come here for lunch. The burger was simple yet had tons of flavor and the the vegetables were fresh. I am a big of vegetables to be honest and they did it right! The crab cake was crispy on the outside and nicely warm on the inside so every bite was amazing. I also like that they used a brioche bun which is a nice touch. Hands down my favorite drink will alway be the espresso martini! Staff are kind and attentive, don't be afraid to ask questions. They are knowledgeable and will give you recommendations.

Incredible and filling meal. We got the steak medium rare, the salmon, and the lobster roll. Everything was delicious, but the Caesar salad with bacon deserves a special mention. That combination just works. Dessert was rich and decadent, and a great way to end the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with jazz playing in the background without being too loud. We had a table overlooking the pool, which made for a really pleasant dining experience. It felt upscale without being stuffy, and it was easy to relax and enjoy the afternoon.

5.5 STARS! Food was delicious and with big portions to share. Our waiter and assistant waiters were very friendly and attentive. With good judgment and good intentions, our waiter had hilariously took our menu away to avoid us from over ordering. Who does that? Of course only a caring waiter would honestly tell and look after you on your behalf. Not only did he saved us lots of valuable money, he save us from wasting food. The menu price was a little hefty but it was well worth the money and quality. The environment felt very cozy and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Ask the Community - Peter Luger Steak House

What cut of steak is on the power lunch menu and how many ounces is it?

Hello! The steak on the power lunch is a bone in new York strip and weighs about 16oz with bone. It can be added to your power lunch experience for a $30 supplement. See you soon!

If we have a 3:30pm Power Lunch reservation, is there ever a circumstance that the burger would not be availbale because it is cut off at 3:45pm? Does our PL reso guarantee us to get a burger, even if the retaurant seats you late, etc.

Hi Kathy! 3:30pm is the last seating for the Power Lunch menu and we stop serving burgers to the dining room at 4pm. As long as you are seated within this time frame we will always honor the lunch and burger request, especially if you were seated…

If you have a 3:45pm reservation can you still order the burger? I see that it says the burger is served till 3:45pm

The burger is available until 4pm. The last seating for the Power lunch is 3:30pm.

Can I redeem my Ceasars rewards credit to pay here?

    I don't believe you can.

    Do they give parking validation?

According to the property's parking policy, Caesar's Palace, NV residents can get up to 3 hours free, and Caesar's rewards statuses Platinum and above get free parking. I believe otherwise it's $25/daily flat rate.

Does the restaurant have any private spaces or private rooms?

    Yes they do

Good morning, My wife doesn't eat too much. Would they allow her to share the "steak for 2"* or…

Even the steak for 1 is enough for 2. And they don't care what you order (or don't order).

How does this compare to the one in NY?

It's pretty comparable in my opinion. Great service, tasty food and great atmosphere

Has anyone ordered the tomato and onions? I thought it would have been grilled with sauce but it was just served raw? I'm not sure if that's how it comes? $18.95 for 3 sliced onions and tomatoes raw is kind of pricey.

Yes I've ordered it it does go well with the steak as a side if you're not hungry enough to eat potatoes. Smother the tomatoes and onions with the Peter Luger sauce.

I am looking for a updated 2024 dinner menu with prices. Cesears Website doesn't show prices. Can some one send a link to a menu with pricing for 2024?

Checked and didn't see any online menus with prices available. Within the Yelp App (not website),…

Do they accept Caesar's celebration dinners as payment?

Yes, and any other Caesars Rewards food comp which I had in my offers.

Can you eat at the bar?

Hi Corey! Absolutely, the full menu is available at the bar. Hopefully we see you soon!

How much for corking fees if I bring in my own wine?

Do they accept the Peter Luger credit card at the Las Vegas location?

I believe they accept all credit cards.

I want to try the burger at lunch, but there is no listing when "lunch" is. I see hours for Mon and Tue starting at 5pm and for Wed thru Sun starting at 11am. Does that mean lunch is from 11am to 5pm during those days? Or does lunch end before 5pm?

Hi, it's only Friday, Saturday and Sunday . 11am to 4:45 pm is when they take reservations for lunch.

Do they accept credit cards at this location? I assume no, but my brain tells me they would have to.…

Yes they do! I know the original does not.

How much is the corkage fee in this location?

$50 per bottle, 2 bottle max.

    Do you take walk ins?

Yes, they take walk ins. You can always eat at the bar too as a walk in if they do not have any tables available.

Do you earn Caesars rewards points by presenting your card at the restaurant?

Yes, you can earn and redeem Reward Credits here.

We put in our order - one pork ramen, one mushroom ramen, and one kids meal + pork belly buns as a starter. One ramen and the kids ramen arrived together. The 2nd ramen arrived 15 minutes after that. They took off the item + actually packed the pork belly buns in a Togo box. The food overall is good! But for the price (I am from the bay area so I understand how much VCOL should cost).
