We were looking to try a new spot for lunch on Thursday and came across Echo Sushi. We decided to check it out and so glad we did. The menu has some really great options. I settled instantly on the Dumpling Ramen which was on their Specials list for the day. We also ordered egg rolls and the spicy pork. Service was great throughout our lunch. The location is small, but didn't feel too cramped. The ramen has some amazing flavor, was spicy and the dumplings were delicious. It didn't have any huge veggies etc in it, but honestly it was perfect as is. The egg rolls were crispy and so good. The pork was ok, but portion was small. If it had not included rice, gyoza etc I think my husband would've been starving. Next time we'll have to try some sushi.

I've already eaten a good portion of my sashimi salad!

Our only go-to for sushi here in Phoenix! Their seafood is always fresh, presentation is superlative, prepared by our wonderful Japanese chef, and portions are generous, everything's worth the price you pay for! Service is always topnotch! Thank you, Juri and the team at Echo Sushi!!!

We were in the area shopping and happened to come across Echo Sushi. We stopped to order couple things. We had sashimi salad and calamari to share. The calamari was really crispy and delicious. It was already salty so didn't really need the accompanying dipping sauce. The sashimi salad had a pleasant dressing on it so we really didn't need soy sauce/wasabi for it. For the price we paid, it came with good amount of sashimi, however, not premium fish/cuts we hoped for. Overall decent place. I saw some ramen dishes coming out of the kitchen and those looked delicious. If you're in the area, give it a try.

We happened to find this little gem while we were waiting for my nephews basketball practice. So we stopped in, and let me tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff was so friendly and quick to take our order. Now the question on everyone's mind. Why is the rice... purple? Listen, I wish I knew... but what I do know is it's different, and it's delicious! It's like a long grain rice, the flavor and texture is very different than the traditional sushi rice, but somehow I felt event healthier eating it (not even sure if that's accurate but why not). The bento box was LEGIT, and SO delicious! Flavorful, well done, very happy with it and will be going again!

I had dinner last night with my family and have a slightly updated review. We ended up spending $140 for 3 people but I will say, the quality and quantity have improved. We ordered the garlic edamame, tempura appetizer, spicy seafood udon, two fancy rolls, and a Poke bowl with salmon. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. Service was very good as well.

Ventured out and visited a sushi restaurant that we haven't been to before. It didn't disappoint. My tuna poke bowl was huge and they give you a generous bowl of miso soup along with it. Both were very good, maybe my favorite poke bowl in the valley. My wife had the Alaska roll and the Volcano roll. I tried both and they were both really good. I would give this place 5 stars but it is a small restaurant and a bit cramped. Others have posted that the use of purple rice instead of white gave the sushi a different texture or flavor. I didn't find that at all. The texture was that of sticky rice and there wasn't a difference in flavor. I will definitely come back and invite friends.

The sushi is very expensive and the worst I have had. Warm, weird texture and not fresh at all. Grocery store sushi is better and fresher.

Definitely a vibe for anime lovers! Food-wise, we started with the gyoza and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and even better dipped in the ponzu sauce! We also tried the sushi flight, which was a great way to sample a few different flavors. Overall, I really enjoyed it, although the eel was probably my least favorite of the flight just personal preference. The crispy tuna rice was easily the star of the meal! Crispy, flavorful, and the textures worked so well together. I would 100% order that again. The ramen, however, was just okay for me. It wasn't bad or inedible, but the broth was lacking that rich, deep flavor I look for in a good bowl of ramen. A little more depth and seasoning would really take it to the next level. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our waiter was super friendly, cool, and attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The great service, fun atmosphere, and crispy tuna rice are enough for me to give Full Moon Izakaya another try. Next time, I'll be exploring more of the menu!

We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. The drunken noodles were pretty salty but overall good. These two entrees were enough for two people to take a little bit of leftovers home. Our waitress comes to us and takes our drinks and orders. She came back to advise us that they were out of the cucumber salad. I ask if she could add something to my order (I wanted to add an egg to my ramen, not on the side but in the ramen) to which she acknowledged. Roughly 10 mins later, a new waiter brings me out an egg in a bowl! I politely told him I asked for it to be in my ramen, not as a side. He looks at me as if I've lost my mind, then asks if I want it in a to-go box... why?? I told him a second time, that I asked for it to be on my soup, the ramen! He walked away. Another 15 mins goes by and yet another server comes and brings out our food. Everyone around us is getting service, like multiple times, but we have yet to see our waitress. We asked a 3rd waiter if we could get sauces, which he brings out. We eat our food, and guess what...? Still no waitress. We finish our food and had to ask a fourth waiter for a to go box, and finally our waitress comes out and asks if we need anything, to which I tell her, no, we've already been taken care of! She walks away with what seemed like an attitude. Brings our check. Another 10 mins goes by and we don't see her... every other table is gettin their service from their waiters/waitress and we don't. So we get up and pay for our bill, ourselves at the hostess table. Our waitress comes up to take our bill, doesn't say anything at all. No, I'm so sorry I'm waiting multiple tables, or hey sorry I'm working both inside and outside, nothing. Besides the less than par service the food was really good!! If she would have at least communicated to us, how busy she was or is or anything, this would a be a totally different story.

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.
