Ray was very punctual, professional, and efficient and explained everything to us. We really appreciated that Eclipse was willing and able to do the microwave installation after Home Depot's default installer came out twice and told us it couldn't be done, due to the trim on our cupboards blocking the way and the high backsplash tile. Ray found a solution that was very inexpensive and now we have a working microwave! Ray also noticed a problem with our dishwasher that we knew about but hadn't dealt with. He explained why it was important to get it fixed, which made a lot of sense (to protect our nice dishwasher and our health/sanitation). He fixed the dishwasher and replaced piping beneath our sink that should have been replaced long ago for a great price. The overall price was very reasonable and it was a pleasure to talk to Ray and to Stephanie who helped to schedule us. Thank you, again! We've had Eclipse install a double wall unit oven and a gas stovetop (and most recently replace an old valve under the stovetop that was leaking). We've found the staff to be responsive and very prompt with their communications, and the technicians to be courteous, thorough and professional. Let me preface this by saying that I'm a pretty handy person and could have installed my new Fotile JQG7505 30" range hood myself. Having poured over the manufacturer's install instructions prior, I had an idea of how this thing was going to replace my existing hood and even confirmed with the manufacturer. However, I was unable to DIY due to an injury, so I reached out to the folks at Eclipse given their stellar reviews and really prompt response from Sean. I asked for a range hood swap with ducting and power already present, just replacing my existing over-the-range microwave. The prices quoted were extremely reasonable to boot! On install day, the team arrived and were very no-nonsense and focused about the job. You won't get smiles or salutations, but you can tell they are good at what they do and that's all I care. But things started to go downhill. They didn't have shoe covers with them, which meant they needed to take them off before entering or track their shoes inside. I need to ding them for that as "no shoes inside" homes are pretty common nowadays and all trades I've dealt with had a stash of shoe covers with them. They hauled the new unit from my garage upstairs to the kitchen. Having read the install instructions prior, I gave them a head's up about Fotile requiring certain kitchens install the range hood approximately 6 inches lower and use a decorative panel to fill the open space between the cabinet and the hood. After a bit of back and forth, they concluded the install was too complicated for them and they felt uncomfortable installing it. They recommended to seek an install service offered by the manufacturer and left shortly after. The entire experience was frustrating to say the least and I understand them not wanting to shoulder the risk outright without doing more research. I asked the install team to just look at the installation instructions and they only spent a minute glancing at it. As the conversation went on, they started highlighting every little challenge associated with installing it, down to trivial stuff like removing the duct tape that was attached to the existing hood. Overall, they were uninterested in installing my range hood in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Instead, preferring to install based on what they were familiar with. Later that day, I spoke to the office and they said after reviewing the install documentation they would do the work for over double the originally quoted price. Double the price to install the unit 6 inches lower and to fit in a trim piece that I could have DIY despite my injury. I kindly declined this offer. I'm sure these folks are good at what they do and worthy of their great Yelp reviews. However, between not having shoe booties, the debacle with the install team, and being re-quoted double the price to do it the proper way, I can't say my experience was the same. read more

Really, don't look anywhere else, this company is The Best ! Originally tried to purchase Bosch dishwasher 500 series at Home Depot to be installed by Home Depot as well, but on the top of hefty installation fee of 200 $ plus another 40 $ to hall away the old one, they wanted to load me with installation kit of another 50 $, the parts Bosch had already included in the box, and only thing I needed to get it's water supply line. So, I purchased online from Home Depot, but choose " install myself " option. Went on Yelp and found Eclipse Installation with all those wonderful reviews about them, and from that point it was nice and easy . Wonderful Ray came in and beautifully installed the dishwasher in about 30 minutes, and even explained how to operate the machine, kind of easy set up guide, hall away old one for free. Very pleased with the tech that installed a dishwasher for us. We purchased a new dishwasher from Lowe's and the first installation co tech that came started making excuses about how the dishwasher wouldn't fit, our plumbing was a problem and that all of our lines were improperly installed, etc.... the second he got in the front door, before he even made the turn to see our kitchen. He wouldn't even try to see if anything would, maybe surprise him and, actually work. We kicked him out fast and went to Lowe's to complain... and they called Eclipse to come out instead.... the tech from Eclipse called when he was on his way, was on time, friendly from the beginning and instead of saying, hey this might be a problem, he told us he "always tries and has a few tricks up my sleeve" in case of running into any issues. I hate posting negative reviews, but this just didn't sit well with me. We were referred Eclipse to move our built-in fridge/freezer out of it's place while we repiped our home. The guys came out and did a great job, were on time, and totally professional. They told us to contact them when the repipe was over and they'd come back to get the fridge/freezer back in it's place so we can use it again. So we called 2 days later, spoke to someone who said they would get back to us later that day. They never called back. We then called them 5 consecutive days. Voicemails were full. No response. I even called the technician on his cell and never heard back from anyone. So after over a week of not being able to get everything back, we had to go elsewhere and pay more to get it done. We were lucky enough to get Ray as our over the range microwave. We are in a 1960's condo, and although we were replacing a similar microwave. Unfortunately, it appears the cabinets were installed around the microwave, and the new one would not fit at the bottom, but it did at the top. Go figure! Bunch of liars. They scheduled my installation with me and when I followed up the morning of, they claimed they never talked to me and never scheduled it, blaming me. Then I showed them their own text messages to me that had the scheduling information and they all of a sudden got apologetic. However, they're are doing nothing to fix their error and are further delaying the installation of my dishwasher that is desperately for my household of 5 with a couple of toddlers who go through dishes like no other. They refuse to try to go out of their way to make up for their error and claim they're legally not allowed to work on the weekend. All a bunch of complete BS.
