Calling biweekly for additional service due to multiple pest being inside and outside of the home. Today will be the third time that my house has been sprayed in 2 1/2 months. I would have canceled but they provided a "discount" with signing up - it is actually a cancellation fee. I am not happy with the customer service of the receptionist, unsympathetic to the pests that are still being found in my home and outside and the time it takes to communicate with them. read more

We were not happy with the products and services of EcoGuardian so we wanted to switch. A salesman from EcoStar informed us that switching from EcoGuardian would not leave us with a cancellation fee since EcoStar would take care of it. Little did I know that the same salesman would call and pretend to be me in order to cancel while doing nothing about the cancellation fee. I made several calls to EcoStar and explained what happened. I was consistently told that the salesman does not work there anymore and they would look into it. They never tried to take responsibility and make it right. If they take advantage of disabled combat veterans this way then I would hate to see how they treat the average citizen. Ive used Ecostar for a year now and have always had a great experience. I love how if i ever see any critter i want gone i just call them up and they come out amd treat for free. They have great friendly techs who take the time to explain what certain bugs are or what the process would be to get something gone if it doesnt work the first time. It works best if you tell them what you see them they can tailor your treatment to exactly what bugs you see. My home backs up to Lake Lewisville and a good pest control company is essential. read more

I had been a customer for several years. However as of today I am no longer. I had service scheduled today, 9/25/18. My office is in the front of my house by the door and I work from home. I heard the truck pull up. I waited and watched for the person to get out of the truck. After 10 minutes the person was still sitting in the truck, I decided to go out and pull in one of my trashcans after the trash was picked up, to see what was up. The person was playing on a phone. Normally the person would spray around the garage door, and there was still morning dew in areas around the front porch, so it wasn't like it would have evaporated that fast, but it was dry on the thresholds. I never heard the brushing around the eaves all over the house either. Normally the person would ring the door bell and announce themselves, but that didn't happen either. After I went in, he stayed for a few more minutes in the truck and then left. An hour later I get an email with the bill, saying the person applied two different chemicals to the eaves and entryways, etc. I called and spoke to someone and told them it was fraud to charge me for services that weren't rendered. I thought my neighbors camera would reach down the street, but unfortunately the neighborhood has grown up and trees are in the way now. So I have no proof, it is my word against their person. But I will never do business with them again. I wouldn't trust them. Looking at the BBB site, their membership has been revoked. read more

Be very leary of this company. They are not professional, did not resolve pest issues after multiple complaints. If you attempt to cancel their service because they failed to honor their guarantee, they will keep harrassing you for payment and attempt to send you to collections without a legal judgement or justification. We have only had Ecostar for about a month, but already our house has better pest control than ever before! The office staff are always kind, welcoming, and eager to help. The service representatives are always clean, nice, courteous, and, above all, completely thorough. After our first treatment we were worried because we saw a few bugs but, after a short and courteous call, they sent out a technician who applied another treatment at no extra cost. They explained that after the first treatment is normal to see a few bugs because the treatment is working, makes sense. Honestly couldn't be happier! Haven't seen any bugs since their last treatment and we have seen a huge reduction in the amount of mosquitos which were eating us alive. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Update: 26 July 2016 I recently had Ecostar come back and retreat my home for free. It seems one of their technicians who treated my home the first time was not doing his job correctly. Since this retreat the bug problem has gotten better. The new technicians apologized for their former coworker and even left extra bug traps for us incase we needed more between now and the next treatment. I updated my star rating to three stars just because this is the first retreat. I will update my review as time progresses and change my rating accordingly. Hopefully things keep improving. 1st review: Do not let the 1star review fool you, if I could give them 0 stars I would. If this company approaches you, run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. This spring we started having a bad bug problem and this company solicited our door one day and we agreed to sign up with them since we had been looking for a company anyways. They came out twice within two weeks, and instead of the bug problem being taken care of it got worse! A lot worse, to the point our house now looks like it's ready for Halloween. Not to mention when they sprayed the inside of the house the spray they used stained my wood floors after the sales man and the application guy both reassured me that it wouldn't. So I called to cancel our service and the lady told me there would be a $100 fee to cancel since we got a discount at sign up. Even though I specifically asked the sales man if there was a termination fee and he said no. I'm still working with them on this issue and if anything changes I'll update my review. For now do everything you can to stay away from this company or you'll wish you had never heard of pest control. read more

Do NOT use this company. Extremely unprofessional and zero customer service. We contacted them to perform a service outside the normal quarterly service and could not get anyone to come out to take care of the issue.
