I called EcoWater to ask what I was doing wrong when exchanging the filters and membrane, keep in mind, I'm a handy girl, I've done my own oil changes. They asked that I send a picture of my system. Apparently the origenal install wasn't their best work per the supervisor who saw the picture I sent. The supervisor asked that Charlie be sent to my house, an appt was made. Charlie called early the day of my appt to let me know he would arrive at 9am. He was on time, friendly and his work was really clean. My husband was actually home because I worked that day. Of course when I arrived I dissected all of his work. He left a very crisp clean set up. My husband said he was really happy with his customer service too. Our old water softener (~10 years old) started restricting flow into our house such that we had terrible water pressure even though the pressure from the street was good. I researched a lot of systems and decided to go with EcoWater SoCal via Costco due to the good warranty, USA made and Costco backing. We were guided by our customer support rep Kevin R. to select the smaller ESD2750 unit for our needs and it was installed in May 2023. The installer Dylan Barnett was professional, efficient and cleaned everything up nicely. He reworked the exterior pipes with new copper, replaced old gate valves with ball valves around the existing pressure regulator so it will be much easier to shut off water when needed. read more

I have had Sparklettes water delivered to my home since 2015 when I saw them at Costco giving samples. I love the spring water and it's so convenient with the cooler and hot water option I have at home. They're very dependable for their service. I have asked, being a senior female living in a 55+ community that they must only leave 5 gallon bottles that have handles. Most of the time they do but not always. However I really believe most of their bottles do have handles, so basically it's just a luck of the draw. Living in a condo where the parking is far from my unit, and adding the situation of Covid-19. I didn't want to continue getting out of my home often and carrying the heavy water bottles to my place. I called to check for a quote and Miguel Reyes was great at following up and setting me up with a really good deal in a water filtration system. He then quickly got me an appointment and Fabian came to my location. Mr. Fabian has more than 20yrs experience doing this type of installations. I was surprised at how fast it was, he did a clean job, he even went the extra mile as he noticed that the rest of the things in my home were in a chrome finish, so he went back to his car and brought the piece that would show for the filter in a chrome finish as well so that it could match. I got my Ecowater System through Costco, and Kevin was my salesperson. He was knowledgable and courteous, and introduced the different concepts and the water hardness measurements thoroughly and accurately. It was an easy choice and I picked the ERR3700 with RO bundle for a 15% discount from Costco. Even better, I got the system installed within 3 days of my first call with Kevin, as a nice Happy New Year gift for the family. It is wonderful to have a great plumber like Fabian and Justin who did a clean setup in the garage. Fabian even reorganized the RO connection under the kitchen sink so it is nice and organized now. The house water is soft as silk and the wifi option allows remote control of the softener through the easy to use EcoWater web interface. The RO water is clean and smooth with an alkaline filter. The RO efficiency is an amazing 1:1 compared to my old unit from Costco. Do not get fooled by Costco's Ecowater systems. They are very pricy and expensive maintenance when it comes to changing the water filters. We had for 5 years. Whenever there is a leak in reverse osmosis, they charge $150 for the technician to come and check. Also they say they do not warrant the filters if we change it ourselves. We changed it to more affordable water system and I glad I did. read more

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WATER TREATMENT COMPANY!!! I bought the entire filtration system for the house. I also bought an under sink system which is under warranty. The tank failed because the bladder deflated. They fixed it for a service call on $99. I insisted they replace the tank as is under warranty, they refused. I asked for something in writing assuring me that it would not fail after my warranty period since the tank is faulty. They refused. They are a COSTCO vendor where I will go next with my complaint. We're grateful for the lack of hard water stains on our shower glass, and we absolutely love our filtered water! They installed a defective unit. Do not get any water filter installed by them. They cannot be trusted with 4,500 dollars. They will quote you anti scale and carbon filter for 4,500. Which they claim is a good deal. However it breaks down every month and it does nor lower the PPM, most basic test show ecowater tanks does nothing to ppm. Only there small tank of reverse osmosis does lower ppm. You might as well skip the whole home filtration and only get the sink filter for 200 dollars with reverse osmosis. read more

EcoWater (Vista) continues to provide not only an excellent system for the whole house as well as the Reverse Osmosis system. What I appreciate is how they keep in touch to make sure that we have current filters for our Reverse Osmosis. They also take into account the normal usage for just the two of us at home to extent the general replacement cycle. After the previous the system was not working and my wife and I tried to re-seat the filters and in doing so broke the the manifold the holds the filters. We contacted EcoWater immediately and they arrived the next morning to take care of the replacement and filter install. We couldn't have asked for better service. read more

Justin was professional, competent, and as a bonus, a delight. He assessed the situation and offered a couple of options, clearly explaining the benefits of each. The choice was made, and he set to work. I hung out asking questions about my unit, how it worked, what it does and such. Yes, 2 start for a good reason their is know issues with the digital Wi-Fi 3700 units and they replaced mine 3x in 3 months for one reason or the other. We bought it from Costco (no longer trust their vendor vetting process) bc we trust Costco...smh unit about $7k and in less than 3 years of owning and less than 24 months between module fixes plus the 10yr extended warranty we find ourselves with the same issue Nonworking digital module and the unit has not recharged itself, the salt level has not dropped and they won't mail the unit instead they want $150 tech visit fee for a 4/5 minute module swap bc that's how they make their money per one of their supervisors...smh they know this digital 3700 is a constant issue but still selling lemons. Buyer Beware it should not cost an additional $1300 in a 10yr extended warranty plus 5 yr manufacture warranty to own this unit. Just not work the money! read more

We have had our water treatment system for a few years now. We just changed the filters and noticed the water wasn't coming out as fast as it had been, so we called for a tech to come out and give the system a check up. The company is great. They got us set up with an appointment; verified the date and time a few days before, and Charlie called to let us know he was on his way. Charlie was very respectful, had a mask and gloves on, and was very professional. He only touched the items in the kitchen that needed to be touched, checked everything, told us what to do after he left to maintain the system, and was friendly and courteous the entire time.
