I cannot recommend Eddy's Movers enough. I moved from an apartment in Roswell to a house in Lilburn. The total bill was Under the estimate. And that had a lot to do with their hustle. Lester and his crew never stopped moving quickly. They quickly and completely wrapped my furniture. They were careful. There were no dings on my furniture, my house or my apartment. We hired Eddy's to move and unpack our stuff. They did a relatively good job, however, we had a missing item, which they agreed to reimburse us for. It's now been two months and we still haven't received the refund. We keep following up, but getting nowhere. I highly recommend Eddy's Movers. I have used them twice for a move from my apartment to condo and then from my condo to my new house. The first move they made two stops! I had purchased a washer and dryer for my new place and they picked that up, loaded it and then came to my apartment and got everything else. Each and every time they were amazing! Their customer service is efficient and effective. I received my quote quickly and was able to schedule both moves within days of my initial call. They called to double confirm, check in and thank me! Where customer service normally lacks they were top notch and I was greatly appreciative. I feel I got the most bang for my buck! They were right on time as scheduled both times and about 4 gentlemen came and handled all my furniture with great care. If you are planning a move definitely consider them! SCAMMERS!!! Do not use this company. I hired them to pack up and move my furniture paid them over $900, only for them to leave items, break items and not take any accountability. I sent multiple emails with videos showing with the movers did not take with them, only to receive a call from their "attorney" Light of Justice Liz Mendoza, stating that I was harassing them because I requested for a manager to call me. The 3 gentlemen that did our move were prompt, courteous and very accommodating. Not a very big company but they are big on customer service. In an idustry that is filled with substandard companies as well as many out and out low integrity movers, Eddy's was FAR above the norm. The crew that moved us was diligent and efficient. We moved our of our home of 38 years and 2300 square feet to our new home and a one hour drive away in a one day move. The crew of five worked dilegently throughout the day. On two occassions they asked if it was alright if they take a 5 minute break. My feeling is that owner Eddy should build an appropriate break understanding, as of course in a what became a 10 hour 15 minute day deserve a break and the customer should understand what the parameters and expectations for that are. The time estimate was given for both 8 and 9 hours. It ended up being more than thatl and frankly IMO the quoted time frame was never douable and the reason why I didn not provide a 5th star. The acutual move was otherwise nearly flawless. The one thing here that they might want to improve on is to keep their tightly wraped dressers and chest of draweres upright. The flippid a couple when putting the on the truck and the loose contents in a few of those repective drawers ended up at the bottom of the dressers underneath the lowest drawer that in one case was not removable. They are a company with a honorable work ethic and solid fundamental principles. read more

Eddy came out ASAP to give me a quote, worked with me when I didn't know my exact move date initially, brought me used boxes so I didn't have to use so many new ones (yay for recycling!), and the guys who packed and moved for us were wonderful! You can tell they take pride in their work and being efficient. Out of this entire buying/moving process, they were the only ones who actually provided some relief to my stress level! I thought that 6 men and 2 straight trucks would be ideal, and while they were fast; nothing else about the move was good. Total cost came in over the estimate even though time was under estimate and so were materials. We even moved several fewer really large/heavy pieces than were there for the estimate. I actually think they charged me for their lunch time because their goal seemed to be to exceed the estimate. They do not use tie-offs, but rely on packing everything tightly from front to back; therefore, you will have pressure/friction damage to wood furniture (even if wrapped ... perhaps not well). Don't ask them to use tie-offs as they will argue with you ... that adds time to the ticket, too! They pulled out without allowing a walk through ... I had to chase down one truck to get them to pick up the lawn furniture ... and so they left a couple of pickup truck loads of furniture and boxes. When the crew leader called to say they were stopping for lunch, I told him. He said they would come back but it would add time to my bill ... naturally. The crew took some of my packing quilts that we had laid out to wrap pictures, and never returned them and accused us of having one of their hand trucks (which we did not ... ours was the same color but not commercial grade as a look at the wheels would show). (Yes, we moved our own art and at least two car loads of other fragile items after we saw how they worked.) The instructions to label everything with the room it went to was a waste of time as they did not look at these and insisted the entire stack go to the same room. In fact, we were told that to look at these labels would take more time. We were frequently told that whatever we were asking would add time to the job and cost more money. Sorry that I selected them, but won't make that mistake again. read more

THIEVES....THIEVES...THIEVES....DO NOT HIRE EDDY'S. I hired this company to move me twice. On the second go around the second mover went though my things. I had a plastic bin with 20k of Louis Vuitton bags and a very special notebook belonging to my late father that passed away in 2020. One mover was talking to me as he was packing things up on my apartment, while the criminal second mover was taking things down to the truck. That's when he had the chance to go through my things and pin point what he wanted. It was the second mover that took things off of the truck and took them up to my storage. I was in the apartment with the first mover. I saw the plastic bin at my apartment being picked up. Now, I am looking for important legal documents belonging to my late father AND my plastic bin of my Louis Vuitton bags and they are not there! THE TRICK IS AT THE END OF THE MOVE, THEY TELL YOU TO COME LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE TRUCK, WELL NATURALLY YOU'RE GOING TO SEE THEY MOVED EVEERYTHING, BUT YOU NEVER THINK TO LOOK AT THE FRONT -WHERE THEY DRIVE. THAT'S WHERE THEY PUT THEY STUFF THEY STEAL. When I reported this to Eddy's they pointed to legal documents regarding liability and wished me the best. THIS IS CLEARLY THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICE. LET THEIR MOVERS STEAL AND THEN THROW UP THEIR HANDS WHEN YOU CALL THEM. Please know that I signed no legal documents given them the right to STEAL anything. Their movers are thieves and they know it. Do they even have a corporate address? Where are they located? DO NOT HIRE THEM. The crew of four were careful with my items, including a very heavy marble table. Everything was shrink-wrapped and nothing was damaged. I would use them again. I was told not to worry that everything would be packed by movers before signing a contract. When the movers arrived they said that they don't pack. After making several calls frantic calls to the office the movers were instructed to pack. I had to run out to Home Depot and a storage facility for packing boxes and materials. I was misled. The guys did a good job moving 11 rooms of furniture. But when I went to the storage unit to retrieve clothes I had to call them back and pay again because my clothes were placed in the back of the unit behind all of the furniture. read more

We have used Eddy's movers to move to our new home. We have taken insurance if for any damages since i have very valuable stuff, including piano, nice furniture's and want the team to be very careful during moving in new home. The moving was very time consuming, finally was done by end of day and i was the main person available during the whole move. I have paid as per bill provided, taken care of movers and also given good tips. I was the only person available mostly. The second day morning itself I have found the damages. Some major issues noticed was master bedroom chest not opening properly, floor damage done but was scratched off with dark color to make it invisible, wooden and trim damage of the home, living room fabric sofa metal came out of fabric, wood damage etc. Wooden scratch and trim damage is clearly visible. Chest damage is prohibiting me to open/close the drawers freely. I send all these with pictures. I tried to reach by call as well. I got the response they they will visit after couple of weeks, which never happened. no one reached out. Why i paid insurance amount if you are not eager to help fix the issues or at least reaching out to review concerns. At this point, i wouldn't recommend Eddy's movers to anyone unless this concern is not fixed. read more

Hired them for a pack and move. I had used them before and they did a good job but this time was terrible! I spent over $1000 for the packing and they did a horrible job. They packed shoes on top of nice clothing. They packet garbage cans with clothing inside the more expensive wardrobe boxes. They mislabeled boxes which caused even more stress as we unpacked and thought items were missing. There are many many scratches and dents on my furniture and walls. My friend coordinated our move with this company for me while I closed on my home. This was a multi-location move. They said it would be 4 men moving, but it was 2 men doing all the work, an elderly man who was the driver and the forth man would move one thing and complain the rest of the time. The "transportation fee" was just a fee it did include travel time. The main thing that I have an issue with is they lied to my elderly mother and told her that they only where allowed to take 20 boxes and a bed, that it was in the contract that they could not take all of her items for the move. We did not sign any contract of that nature, and they moved more than from the other locations (there was about 50 items in total at my apartment, and a house full of things at the first stop), they just lied to her because they could - and that shows low integrity. They also stopped for a lunch break in the middle of our move and tried to charge us for it, luckily I caught that. We had a marble table they did not protect it with a blanket wrap even though they charged us a $20 "taping fee" that was supposed to be for those purposes. All in all I think they over charged us about $200, not to mentioned we have to rent another truck to move the items they refused to move. I do not recommend them or anyone who will get over on an elderly person to get out of doing labor they were hired to do. This wasn't a groupon or a hook up they were paid well for this move and the 2 men who actually worked did a good job but I wouldn't suggest this company to an enemy. read more

I highly recommend not using this service. This company damaged our new refrigerator (both doors). The owner Eddy pictured here has lied to me since our April 5th move. He so called ordered the doors and had them shipped to my home. Took him close to two weeks to show up to pretend to want to install them. At that time, we discovered one door was the wrong color. Another two weeks, nothing and minimal response to my calls and text. Said he'd re-order. Never happened. He showed up two weeks ago and pretended yet again that he was taking care of things. Insisted we take a $300 check, lied and advised that what the doors cost. I reached out today with no response to my text (several) or calls. I just checked the door that's been here over a month. It's damaged and scratched. My belief, based on the owner "Eddy's" actions is that he was playing us and never intended to repair the damage. Again - DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR.
