Honestly everything we tried was amazing. This vibes and atmosphere of this place is amazing. It is more of an upscale / business casual setting. Everyone dining was dressed really nice and we felt a little undressed coming straight from a work event. But the food was amazing and we were starving. And our server was super helpful and friendly. I'm going to write a 2 part review for this place. First, as a hotel guest and also as someone who hosted a private event. 3 star as a hotel guest for breakfast. I basically paid $28 for a simple breakfast (2 eggs, 4 sausage and 2 hash brown coins) - it was just ok. Eggs were cooked perfectly, I wasn't a fan of the hash browns and the sausage flavor was odd. Service was good, food was not the quickest to come out even though the restaurant was empty. I really love breakfast food and I left unsatisfied. 1 star for the private event at Edge restaurant (bar buyout) which was ridiculously expensive and service wasn't all that great. Food was a hit or miss. Crab cake is one of the best I've had. Their Italian food station with carbonara and gnocchi - I can make it better! In comparison to the last big event I hosted down in LA who provided 5 star experience, this place was easily 1 star. Out of the 4 private events we hosted this week in Denver, this ranked last for me. I'm in the tech field and the attendees are on the younger side who are happy with free food and drinks, I didn't hear the same compliments from them that we got for our other events. If I hosted an event here for my last company (investment banking firm) - I would've never heard the end of it. My biggest issue - I know we're at the Four Seasons which tend to cater to high end clientele's - it's a pet peeve of mine when employees act arrogant towards their clients. The events team here didn't impress me at all, many balls were dropped causing us unnecessary stress. Actually, probably one of the worst, unapologetic team I've dealt with in years. I do not recommend this place for private events - you definitely won't get your moneys worth. Our founder said something very interesting about this hotel in general...not impressive for a Four Seasons. Found this classy, upscale restaurant to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing, to say the least. The service was good, a few different staff members continuously checked in on us, all no with our gentleman server. The food was chefs kiss. I eat downtown several times per month, usually if I am going to a play, musical, ballet or opera. It's been over a year since I was last here at the high end restaurant inside the Four Season hotel. As expected, the decor, service and food was impeccable. I started with a flute of Moet & Chandon Brut champagne. I told my server, Joe/Joseph I was going to a musical at 7:30pm. He said it would be no problem, but offered their Prix Fixe Menu for $89 as an option. It was a good match. I got their Edge Wedge salad, a 6oz filet mignon with asparagus, creamy potatoes and a side of beer battered onion rings. I asked Joseph which red wine would pair well. He suggested the Duckhorn Merlot. It was perfect. For dessert, I got a beautiful box of chocolate truffles as part of my Prix Fixe menu. read more

I did the three course lunch and chose the tomato bisque w crisp, steak, and choc chip cookie. Perfect portions for lunch and they got all of the little things right. The only subpar thing was the chimichurri sauce, as it was a bit watery and lacked the punch typically associated with a chimichurri sauce. She offered great suggestions (great food and Non Alcoholic options) and her timing and attention was spectacular. So, a couple of things. If you go here, be prepared to drop $200 to $300 for a basic dinner for two or three people. It's cheaper than Ruth's Chris and it is much, much better than Ruth's Chris. It's inside the four seasons hotel, and it is very posh. The weight staff is very attentive, probably the most attentive of any place I've ever been. The ambience is great. It's a great place for a romantic dinner, dinner on the town, dinner before show, date night. But be prepared to drop some serious cash. The food is absolutely delicious. There just isn't much of it. You will not be full leaving this restaurant. The bill for three of us was over $200 and we did not buy any alcohol. And the additional funny thing is that I also had my car valeted at the hotel and on my way to the table the waitress asked if I wanted my valet ticket validated and of course I said yes, thinking that parking would be free. Oh no, the validation just brings the cost of the parking down to $20. So, I still had to pay $20. So, a tip for the hotel and the restaurant, just charge $20 for parking. Don't say you're going to validate it and then still charge people. Validation means that you don't pay for parking. It doesn't mean you just get a discount in parking. That's not how it works. No place ever does that. So, don't validate unless you're going to actually validate and get free parking. Especially if somebody's dropping over 200 bucks for dinner, you can afford to let them park for a few hours for free. read more

Ugh what a disappointing buffet for Mother's day--$500 for 3 people and not a single chafing dish kept food warm, cheeses were leftover from years ago and don't get my started on the black avocado toast. Carving station was an overdone lamb (gross) and a cold-wobbly pork belly that was totally vile. The egg station somehow managed to goof up fried eggs on two tries (nearly raw and swimming in oil). Drinks were meager pours (and mimosa was tired and no bubbles). The waffles were the only edible thing--if only I could have made good on $500 worth of waffles, it would have been worth it. Note that we have dined as hotel guests and been similarly disappointed (e.g., inedible "sliders") and have dined here for Mother's Day brunch before (was edible then). Noticed a lot less crowded this time--likely people are getting the message that there are a million better brunches for all the $$$. Severs are sweet but seem to not know how to hustle or refill drinks/waters/bus tables--this place is coasting on its Ritz Carlton laurels and what a shame. read more

This is a beautiful restaurant and bar located in the Four Seasons in downtown Denver, CO. As guests at the hotel, we dined here twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner/dessert for our final night on our girl's trip. Staff were, as always at FS, gracious and kind and very accommodating. My friend has a few food allergies, notably, soy, and they asked that before even seating us and then the server came over and was aware of it and made suggestions while my friend reviewed the items on the menu she liked. Breakfast was delicious - I had a very good yogurt parfait and my friend enjoyed a delicious eggs benedict and peppermint tea that she raved about for the rest of our stay! We came for dinner later all dressed up and decided to only do coffee and dessert because we didn't see the Cobb Salad we really wanted. Instead we tried the creme brûlée and the sticky toffee pudding. Both were SO delicious and the coffee was excellent. Service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed both experiences here. Adriana was our server and she was such a joy to meet. She really made our night so special :) All of the food was complicated/dynamic but also very filling. The highlights were the salmon nigiri and the chocolate cake, but truly everything was delicious and well worth the money. Love this place's marketing through TravelZoo. Always buy their deals and frankly we're mainly a "coupon couple" when we visit The Edge, 'cause I'm no longer on an expense account and the restaurant and bar are great, but pricey. This time around we had a pay-$30-and-get-$60 credit for the bar area that includes both food and drink (just not during happy hour). Went Friday night and it was a hoot. Talk about a great people watching opportunity! Now I'm sure I look just as strange and entertaining as the folks we got to rub shoulders with, but I'm talking full body lavender leotard'd female, a caped Darth Vader light-sabered impersonator, a woman with more cut-outs from her dress than filled-in area, and a guy in a red vinyl raincoat with a top hat and no visible pants beneath the bottom of the coat. Just to name some highlights. And the food (lobster mac and cheese, Caesar salad, strip steak and bacon tacos), drinks (really good margaritas), and service, were truly excellent. if I could give this place a seven star I would! The appetizer breadboard is absolutely amazing. Hot bread with several types of butter was just divine. The wedge salad was incredible and it was the best dressing I have ever eaten! My main course was scallops, and they were made to perfection. Overuse of the sauces that overwhelmed the excellent flavors, I.e. the Brussels and the Scalloped Potatoes. The Sea Bass, while tasty, was a 4-5 small bite portion. The silky mashed potatoes were actually sticky and gummy (and needed salt) 2 people, two "lower priced" entrees and 2 glasses of wine for over $200 gives this restaurant the 3.5 stars. We were not asked if we were celebrating and were not given anything special. The bread was very good and freshly baked. We started with the burrata appetizer. The burrata and the jam were very good. I liked the crackers but my fiancé did not. The dish also had squash and arugula, which was tasty but not really seasoned and definitely did not fit with the dish. For my main I got the Korean BBQ cauliflower. Honestly it was the best cauliflower I've ever had, but it was still just one giant chunk of cauliflower. Fiancé got the swordfish. He said it was good, but it was tiny. We shared a side of mushrooms, the sauce was creamy and lemony. Pretty tasty. Cocktails were also good but nothing incredible, I don't even remember what mine was. Overall an enjoyable meal, but know it will cost a ton. I've been in the service industry for 17 years and I have never been so disappointed. I worked for a large steakhouse chain for several years and have seen far better service and quality from such places. Abhorrent service from Joe. Watched him take exceptional care of his other tables while we had to ask the server assistant to get him so we could order and then again for a box at the end of our meal. He didn't check on us one time after we received our meal, until the table was completely cleared. The food was subpar. 'Broccolini' is just broccoli, and all the vegetable sides had a strong lemon flavor, I can only assume because everything is precooked in batches and then heated to order. My ribeye was decent, but my partner's filet was sorely over cooked. When we had finished, we informed him about the overcooked steak and he took it off, but the entire situation could have been avoided had he checked back promptly, or even at all. The best parts of the experience were the sommelier and the server assistant. There was a manager on the floor, but I didn't see him do a single table touch. read more

The food at Edge is AMAZING!! It is quite expensive, but we expected that from a high end steak restaurant. The service was good, but nothing to write home about. All the servers were friendly and obliging. They were pretty attentive at clearing away dirty plates and refilling drinks. The ambiance was not quite what I was expecting. The space has very high ceilings and not a lot of noise dampening, so it gets loud. Surprisingly, there were a lot of children (who brings kids to an expensive 5 star restaurant?) who made quite a lot of noise. We were seated next to a couple who had 3 very rambunctious kids who were jumping around and making a lot noise. Luckily, they left about halfway into our meal and things quieted down a little bit. The Wagyu steak is to die for. Order it. Don't think about it, just do it. We started with the Edge Signature which is several slices of Wagyu and tuna steak that you sear yourself on 900 degree rocks that are brought to the table. It was delicious. Next, I ordered the filet mignon and my husband ordered the Wagyu filet mignon. Note: the steak options do not come with sides, all sides are ordered separately and are for the table to share. My filet mignon was really good, but did not hold up against the Wagyu filet. We also go dessert because it was our anniversary. We ordered the Chocolate Pot de Creme. It was awesome! I went to Edge for my boyfriends birthday, and honestly was expecting good things. I ordered the cod, which sounded absolutely delicious, but what I got was not what I was expecting. The cod was bland and tasteless and the "spicy" coconut curry broth was also tasteless and cold. However, the only good thing about this dish was the pickled mushroom that technically added nothing to the dish. My boyfriend ordered the 16. oz buffalo ribeye, which was delicious. The Edge 1 sauce ($4) that he added on the side was simply A1 sauce. Not worth it. The mashed potatoes were cold like they were sitting in the pass for 20 minutes. We also had the toffee pudding, which was the best dish of the night. The server that we had was also extremely passive aggressive and had an attitude when I brought my cod and mashed potatoes back.
