Favorite local pizza place. Organized ordering and they always finish the pizza when they say they will. I like their regular crust a lot and recently for a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni, their pricing is great as well with other places charging 5 dollars more for the same thing. The crust is slightly crispy on bottom and doughy in a good way. Sauce is well seasoned and they cover the pizza pretty well with cheese and toppings. Not pictured but their calzones are very large and a great deal as well, unlike other pizza places they also offer a variety of pasta and salads and you can even get French fries here!

I was little hesitant to order from here since I've never heard of it, but from the reviews, I wanted to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. The ordering system is extremely easy and because they had such a variety of food items besides pizza, I couldn't figure out what their specialty was. Since most of the reviews were about the Middle Eastern food, I decided to get the chicken kebab and a combination pizza. The order arrived on time and I was pleased with the outcome of the food. I almost gave it a five-star, but because my chicken plate came all in disarray (probably from the movement of delivery, I knocked down one star. Four is still pretty good. I am looking forward to trying the other dishes besides the chicken in the future. Maybe I will update my review then when I get a stellar experience the next time around. Hooray for above average food and service.

This is the some of the best pizza in the bay. We only order from here now and have ordered 15+ times. So glad I found this place. If you live somewhat in the area they deliver too. The service is great too! They make sure everything is right and if it's not they fix it. The pizza here is by far what you should order. Their wings are also fantastic. Way better than BDUBS. They also have some super delicious jalapeño poppers, and their ranch is really good too! 10/10 will always order my pizza here Edit: I didn't pull the packet out of the side before opening the pizza. Lol

Tried this spot for the first time and I gotta say.... its a great place for great tasting food. I ordered the NY steak plate with house salad,my son had the Hawaiian pizza. Excellent flavors and very filling. They deliver if your within the area. It is tucked away in the industrial area but don't let that stop you from trying it. There's seating inside or get it to go. They offer plenty of sandwiches, appetizers and much more. Daily lunch specials also. I definitely will be back to try out more.

I will always be an advocate for Mom & Pop shops. They just seem to get it. Whether it's food, service, and even ambiance, they just seem to actually care about the customer as a person, rather than just another dollar in their pocket. Mrs. and her sister come here every so often and they are always treated like family. The food we ordered took some time, but nothing is waiting over heat lamps, nor is anything microwaved from what I tasted. My latest (not last) visit, we ordered the Edgewater Special which consisted of Kefta kebab, chicken kebab, and beef kebab (don't know if it was filet mignon, but was extremely tender and tasty) which included rice, pita, and house salad. The house salad was nicely light with a vinaigrette type dressing. The pita was nicely soft and hot to make little pita "sandwiches" with the proteins if I decided to. The meat from the kefta was seasoned perfectly, chicken kebab was seasoned perfectly as well and beef kebab was perfect. The food was amazing for a restaurant in a small strip mall. If you're on the 92, you can easily pass by this gem without even knowing it's there. If you're in the area and in the mood to try something really good, be it Mediterranean food or pizza (which I will try on my next visit), please be sure to give this wonderful family your business. My mouth is already drooling remisnicing about our meal. read more

This was my first time trying Mediterranean Food, & I must definitely say it's super delicious. This is a cute little hidden gem in Hayward. The restaurant is clean and the service was super efficient. All the food is made fresh to order and the taste can definitely confirm it. I can't wait to come back. Edgewater isn't just pizza, there's calzone, salads, burgers,and mediterranean food: kabobs, hummus, shawarma, etc. maybe a bit pricey but there's little competition around here. brew: coffee (m. 164) -initially harsh, but mellow later -only one unnamed blend, 4 thermos, drips: -friendly people, not sure about the food.... -so many choices, could they all be good? read more

Great pizza! Thin crust, cooked crispy and not doughy. The sauce on the pizza is very good. Got Mozzarella sticks, Combo Pizza and cheese. The kids and wife all approved so that's saying a lot when I get a thumbs up from my crowd. Delivery time was before expectation and just out the oven! There are other pizzas in the area that are cheaper but not nearly as good. Not gourmet, but very good quality. Great Value, great service read more

I had the chicken kabab plate. AMAZING!! Everything is made to order & worth the wait! The meat was super tender and flavorful, the rice was perfectly cooked & the salad dressing was great. Since the recent lockdown we have ordered delivery from Edgewater several times. They are fast with the food and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality, freshness, and variety of food. They have fresh salads, dinner plates with salmon and rice, caprese salad, as well as pizza. Hands down the' best delivery ever. I ordered the Salmon entree that came salad and rice. A side of chicken wings and fries. First time ordering from here. Exceeds my expectations. Ordered the Eden Special medium pizza. Ham, bacon, red and white onions, pineapple and poly sauce. This pizza was perfect. Fresh ingredients and you can smell the sweet and savory as soon as you open up the box. Delivery was quick too. Shaved off 20min from the estimated time given. I noticed there's so much more than pizza at this place. May try the salmon plate next time around. read more

5 STARS!!!!! I give 5 stars because I just recently started working here in Hayward and I have ordered from Straw Hat Pizza but not my favorite tbh.... Edgewater Pizza is the BOMB.COM I have ordered a Pepperoni Calzone, cheese sticks, and now cheese ravioli and my oh my was it DELISH ! Don't get delivery, the driver can't speak or understand English. I order a large and medium pizza, for 24.95. I got a personal pizza and a large. They can't get it right on my first order. Excuses is what you get when you order out. It took well over an hour 1/2 and I had to wait in the parking lot at my apt complex for the driver, delivery means " convince" not " unconvinced " . I didn't get what I ordered. They didn't care. read more

We order delivery once a week so we can try new restaurants in area. We ordered Pizza and wings from their website. The food arrived an hour and a half later soggy and cold. There are many pizza choices around that produce better tasting food and quicker. Will definitely not be going back. read more

Where do I start? We came in & had to wait a minute before we were greeted. I saw only one man working & as we perused the menu, after what seemed like eternity, he finally acknowledged us. Point taken away. It appeared he was very busy for grub hub orders. I ordered a personal cheese pizza, shrimp salad & lemon pepper wings. He ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich & BBQ wings. For me, the shrimp salad was delicious. The lemon pepper wings very zesty, i liked. The cheese pizza was cool. You can't really mess up a cheese pizza. He said the BBQ wings was good, tangy sauce & the cheese steak was alright. All in all, I'd try them again. Maybe today was busy. Maybe next time we'll get a "hello" when we enter the establishment. read more

I am not a Hayward resident but I hosted my child's birthday at a venue near Edgewater Pizza. When my original catering fell through, I turned to EP and messaged them via their website. Antonio was prompt to reply and said they'd be able to cater the party as long as I called in the order the day before. I ordered pizzas, 60pcs wings, and two half trays of salad (avocado mango and chicken Caesar). Antonio was SO accommodating and patient in answering my questions and special requests. Would definitely recommend them for your party but give probably a 15min window for delivery. Also, we ended up ordering too much and had too many full pizzas left. Could've done without 5 pizzas but all in all, no one said no to free pizza to take home! I think I ordered XL pizzas but could have probably done all just L. read more

This was my first time ever going to Edgewater Pizza. The company that I work for was having a party and wanted to order some calzones. I went to Edgewater Pizza's website and ordered through Grubhub. I completed my order and contacted them to see if they got my order. They said no so I did the order again and printed it out. I called and no one answered so I drove over there. Ask if they got my order and they said no again. I showed him my order and asked if he could do it. He said no the order was too big that I should have called a day before. I told him since I have my order here on paper could he still do it. And again he said no. Horrible customer service! He should have said yes he can but it would take a while. He missed out of $400.00 for his business. Never again will I or even the company that I work for orders from them. Good thing Pizza Guys was able to service us! read more

This small family owned restaurant has to be the best I've ever tried. They have a great variety of items in their menu and coming in I always receive a warm welcome. I've been coming here for the past 2-3 years and I gotta say I became a regular instantly. The food quality is top notch and always fresh and the customer service is just what you would expect from a family restaurant. During these difficult times they are still open on their regular hours and they do deliveries which is great with the what's going on right now. They have changed it up a little now since COVID, in order to follow the new regulations but nothing changes the great food and customer service that you will experience at this restaurant. read more

I just wanted to let you know what a great tasting extra Large double sausage mushroom and extra cheese pizza That you made for me !!! Your pizza is the best tasting pizza I've had since live in HAYWARD for over 10 years the sausage was absolutely fantastic the fresh mushrooms Added real balance and the extra cheese put the final touches on a really great taste in pizza the crust could stand to be a little crispier on the bottom if you could believe this it tasted better cold !! Thank you for Some Really Great tasting pizza !!!! The Seafood Combo plate which I also ordered was also a Really big hit with my family !!! The next time I'll have to order two or three orders because it Tasted that good & Everyone wanted their own seafood combo plate !!!! Their slices are the New York style, although the crust is a bit more dense than traditional NY style, but I liked the flavor enough to overlook that. The price is quite reasonable too. They also advertise smashburgers on their signage, so I didn't feel like it would be proper to not also get one of those as well on my third visit. I just ordered online and took it to-go, but I had the same problem with nobody really being at the window when I got there. Luckily someone must have seen me standing outside and told the person inside. The smashburger was decent, and the fries that came as a side were perfectly cooked - they are the battered homestyle fry variety, but not too greasy or oily. I think the food here is good, I just think the posted hours could use some clarity. The website says they are open at 12:00, but it's very rare to actually have them be fully open and ready to serve food at that time.

The restaurant was slow, with a grand opening sign that was weathered by the sun and other outside elements. We sat down, had a few dishes, and was provided complimentary tea which was given to all customers. We also tried their vietnamese egg coffee. The sesame shrimp toast was a crunchy bread, filled with a shrimp paste. The Lomo Saltado was a vietnamese spin on the authentic Peruvian dish, stir fried beef over fries with rice and a sunny side up egg. Overall, food was decent - on the richer side, with lots of seasoning and dressing. Vietnamese egg coffee left a lot to be desired. If you are going for Vietnamese coffee, there are other better contenders - Phin Cafe, Tram Cream Coffee, etc. I asked to speak to the coordinator, regarding the party menu. They said it was an outdated menu, and working on a new menu. When I asked about the items and related prices, they were not able to provide new pricing, and asked that I tell them what items I'd be interested in ordering before providing pricing. That part was extremely frustrating - to determine what to order without having any prices. Their prices ended up being much higher than what this menu even shared. Then on the days following, the person I talked to originally converted all communications to the other manager. Things were consistently not transparent and I had to ask many questions. I didn't feel like they wanted to even answer questions, and there was inconsistencies between what we were told initially. In response to my friend's review (which I did not even knew she wrote until stumbling upon it by accident) that they provided a drawn layout to help visualize the setup, that was NOT something they went above and beyond to do. It was confusing to hear their explanation, so I had request them to grab a piece of paper and he did a very rough drawing for me. Fast forward to the day of, 15 minutes prior to the event, they are still setting up even though we were told everything would be set 30 minutes prior. Food was set up, and presented in catering trays. Everything was fine, however, the hospitality was quite lacking. It was as if they served the food, and now expected everyone to eat and leave, and started the timer. After speaking to many attendees, many people felt like they were being stared at uncomfortably and unwelcome. The cake table which they recommended to be in a certain spot and of smaller size- someone ran into the cake, and that was terrible. They make you sign this contract, but they are still a restaurant and not a venue we are renting out, so set up with basic tables is definitely expected for people to sit. Even regarding the manager's comments on providing the party with complimentary water and tea - they serve walk in customers with this - I'm not sure why a group accommodation would be any different (to even bring this up)? Not only were we charged high overtime fees, hospitality was highly lacking any warmth and I was super disappointed when multiple guests shared how uncomfortable they felt being starred by at staff. The restaurant was clearly slow throughout the whole time, and even after we left and were still outside, only one table was there. The manager's response in saying his customers were confused and left - if that was truly the case, good hospitality would proactively talk to these customers and make them feel welcome. I would not recommend this place for anything more than a pho and takeout establishment.
