Lots of food stalls to choose from, I personally love Konjo Ethiopian (they also have an awesome food truck). The vegetarian combo is so flavorful and you build your own combo, so if you want three servings of miser (pronounced Miss-er) you got it! The choices available will suit everyone's palate. There is artwork, shops selling fair trade clothing, jewellery, zero waste products... This place is so overwhelmingly awesome! My friend and I are in the area from out of town and we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. We were surprised at how large the market was. We had a hard time deciding what we wanted to try, but we both really enjoyed our picks! My friend had a chicken crepe and I enjoyed a beef arepa. We are excited to go back and try more! read more

Good heavens. We have been here three times in two days, so I guess you could say we are addicted. We're in Denver from out of town, and I'm so glad we found Edgewater Public Market. We've tried Arepas House, Moontime Crepes, and Black Box Bakery: they've all been delicious and reasonably priced. I plan on coming back to try practically every restaurant. read more

I absolutely love coming here! My family and I go here every week -- there's so many selection of food to choose from! For 2 people, eating from a combination of vendors, is going to be about $35~ Check out the flea market -- it's awesome! Edgewater Public Market seems like it's still a work in progress, but they've done nice things thus far. There's a nice mix of shops and food including a brewery, a bar, a number of food places and some trendy clothing stores. We went in with the intention of visiting the soap refill store and to maybe grab a bite to eat. I think there's a lot of potential, but they're going to have to do something about the acoustics in this place. It wasn't very crowded when we visited, but the cacophony of all the people talking and kids screaming bouncing off the concrete floors was ridiculous. read more

Where is the china and glass? - Toilets in the men's room. Cheap $100 manual flush toilets fixed to the floor. Why would you make it harder on the cleaning crew? You automated the soap dispenser and the paper towel dispenser and the urinals, but not the pooper? - TVs. Obnoxious loud TVs. I will wait a year and then return. read more

Very cool new spot in town! I finally got around to coming here! Brought my pup ;) love that it is the first dog friendly food hall! It's a great space. Feels big and spacious and has lots of food options! I had some sliders and some Mac and cheese on my visit here. Mac and cheese was great, i ordered it with the spare ribs, and the spare ribs were fall off the bone tender. The Mac and cheese needed a bit of salt but otherwise was tasty. The sliders are tasty, I had the fried green tomato slider and it was fantastic. Had some coffee from amethyst coffee and it was great also. There are a few stores now open and new zealand ice cream shop which has some fantastic flavours! Loved the food hall, definitely will try an arepas next time, so many food options! read more

Quite a bit nicer than the blighted eyesore that existed on the parcel as an abandoned King Soopers for like 20 years. Thanks to all involved, seems like you did it right and it is going to work out. I believe at this time I have finally tried every food stall. My favorites are: The Ethiopian place, the Venezuelan place, and the New Zealand ice cream. Those are just the favorites, I can't say I've ever had a bad bite at any of the places. Part of me wants to subtract a star for the bartenders usually being somewhat mean and standoffish, but I would probably be mean and standoffish if I was a bartender during covid too, so they get cut some slack in this case. At some point I would like to figure out the algorithm for who gets served beer in a plastic cup and who gets served beer in glass. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. All in all, well worth a trip to Edgewater! read more

The good: The vendors are diverse and my actual dinner was delicious. I had a lobster roll and fries. The stores are not plentiful, but, what does exist Is fun and local. I found a vest I liked and our daughters had a blast decorating their own cupcakes at the My Make Studio. The okay: As far as these big food halls go, it has a nice, diverse selection of vendors. The bad: it's legitimately like waiting for rations during WW2 to get a table or parking. There is so not enough seating, and there's no one helping. So many customers just left because we are talking hours to wait, and people cutting you off to steal a table. And, the only way to get one is to hover over people eating which ruins everyone's experience: Diners and those in waiting. It was my first time out in like 4 weeks because of chemo and cancer. After a good 30 minutes of this table nonsense, my dad found a small table for us that someone almost tried to steel. Luckily, my dad got assertive. It was no way to have to start a nice evening. Either more tables or a system fur assigning them is needed. I wont do that again. . read more

This place is pretty cool. It's a food court of essentially food trucks and there are a handful of tables. They have Velcro signs they change from clean to dirty once you sit down and back to clean after they disinfect it. It's was really clean and there is a place for everyone. There is plenty of parking and although there aren't a ton of seats, it wasn't too busy when we went. There are a handful of shops too. read more

Finally made it out to the Edgewater Public Market and it was the perfect day for it. It definitely felt like fall and not the first day of winter. I want to say this is one of my favorite food hall because of how dog friendly it is. Next time we're definitely bring our puppets! It felt less hectic compared to other food halls we've been to. Probably my favorite food hall in Denver. I love the diversity in the vendors and how yummy they are! The bar does get a little crowded and the seating options are pretty limited, but still an improvement from other food halls in Denver. Highly recommend for a fun date night and if you're into trying different cuisines! Love the openness of the space. Although it was crowded, I didn't feel overwhelmed like I do sometimes at the Denver central market. Not to mention, this area so needed a place like Edgewater public market! You might be wondering, yet another food hall in Denver?! Well, this one is pretty great and a nice addition to this side of town. Parking is plentiful (think Stanley Marketplace parking lot but a little smaller), lots of food options (burgers, tacos, lobster rolls, Ethiopian, mac and cheese, etc) and a decent sized bar. The majority of the seating is community-style tables and overall the building is well lit. The one gripe I have was the overwhelming amount of dogs found INSIDE the food hall. We witnessed no less than 10 inside when we went by last week. I'm a dog lover, but allowing them to be near all of the food stalls and climb onto the tables just seems like a hygienic disaster. I know a few reviews have already mentioned this particular detail, but, I think a better solution would be to possibly restrict access away from food stalls to the upstairs area or patio. read more

Location: just west of Sloan's lake. It is a little tucked back from Sheridan by a couple of blocks. Parking: AMPLE! Come one, come all! Ambience: one member of the group described the ambience as a little too sterile. I might suggest that it is a little industrial. Hipster chic for sure. The long rows of picnic tables made it very easy for all of us to sit together. Eco-friendliness: Props to the concept for using almost exclusively all compostable paperware and utensils! Dog-friendliness: a lot of dogs! Nothing too wild while we were there. See image of posted dog rules. All dogs that meet the rules are welcome, not just service animals. Tech savviness: a lot of the restaurants offered electronic buzzers, but not all of them. I am told that other establishments like this sometimes offer one centralized system where you are notified via text message. At other places you can also upload one credit card at the beginning, for easy payment from restaurant to restaurant. Retail options: most of the retail stores were closed by 5 or 6 p.m., before our event began. The one or two that were open could be described as Colorado tourist chachki. There was a cake decorating experience shop and liquor store as well. Drinks: there is a bar near the front entrance. If you plan on eating far away from the bar, just ask to have your drink made in a plastic cup and you can take it anywhere. Food options: many of the restaurant offerings have been going strong for many years as successful food trucks. Others are brand new endeavors. Some were closed, which include the Mac Shack, Moonlight Crepes, and the coffee shop. Members of our group tried items from restaurants that specialized in Venezuelan arepas, fried chicken, lobster rolls, sliders, gyros, Ethiopian cuisine and New Zealand style ice cream! I believe that most of the members were happy with what they ordered. I ordered a cup of the lobster bisque, which was reasonably priced at $5. It doesn't compare to the lobster bisque I recently had at Perry's Steakhouse. For my entree I chose a trio of sliders, ordering one with mushrooms and truffle seasoning, one with pimento cheese spread, and one with goat cheese and fig jam. For about $12, this was a very pleasing meal! Being able to have both sweet and savory separately was very nice! My Bob enjoyed the buffalo chicken tenders that he ordered. Steve M. enjoyed his lamb dish from the Ethiopian restaurant, but thought the lamb might have been a little fresher if their establishment had had more business. He also ordered a caprese salad from the pizza place which he thought was really good! Patrick loved his ice cream from the New Zealand place, but Steve thought the candy pieces were a little too large. The owner of this ice cream shop has worked on every continent, and sells a book about his story and was there that night! I don't believe anything was going on on the rooftop in the middle of winter, and none of us went up to check. However, from the outside view it could be pretty fun! This was the first food court-style restaurant incubator concept that I have ever tried. I know that there are multiple choices now in the Denver metro area. I am excited to try others! read more

Now that there are multiple marketplaces in Denver this one stands out in all the best ways. First, when you get there you'll see ample parking so that's not a concern. Next, when you get inside there's plenty of seating so you don't have to do the awkward circle trying to find a spot. Then finally the most important part is the food. I love the food options here. Everything sounds delicious and it was tough for me to pick out what to eat and a lot of my favorite food trucks now have restaurants here. read more

I agree with many of the other reviews... This is a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood and another great delivery of a food hall concept here in Denver. I cannot, however, give a higher rating until this food hall takes better control of its allowance for dogs to simply run rampant. As a dog lover myself, I also understand that many owners seem to believe that everyone else loves their dogs just as much as they do. This is not the case. The over abundance of dogs creates for a unsanitary and somewhat annoying environment if you are not equipped or desiring to deal with this additional element. Stop in at 4 PM and look at the amount of dog hair floating in the air as the evening the sun penetrates the windows. This is unacceptable. Since I won't be changing the behavior of dog owners anytime soon, I would simply suggest and ask that the owners of the food hall create a more stringent policy or disallow this all together. read more

I'm a fan of Edgewater public market, I definitely look forward to when all the shops are fully opened. For now, the options of food are plentiful, and the variety is great. There's empanadas, burgers, Mac and cheese, lobster sandwiches etc.. there's also a full bar and even an ice cream shop. We tried out the lobster sandwiches and they were delicious, there was plenty of lobster meat on each sandwich and the bread was perfectly buttered and literally just melted in your mouth. Also, had the lobster fries, which I would probably skip out on next time. I think this will definitely be a hot spot come summer, as the rooftop would be a great spot to hangout. I can't believe I haven't visited this place. It's right next to Target but nestled away in the back, so close to Sloan's lake! It is adorable, similar to Stanley market place in Stapleton but I thought the food options were better. They have a bar in the front you can order from and bring drinks out on the patio. The food-court has some great choices: sliders and pizza , Mac-n-cheese, chicken, ice cream, a coffee-bar, an alcohol bar and more, including rooftop seating with two TV's and a nice view of Sloans Lake and downtown Denver. It's not your typical food-court, and it's dog-friendly.There are shops there, opening soon, and an operating liquor store. Other buildings are awaiting occupancy. read more

The newest food hall in Denver. The location is very nice and there is a large parking lot which is nice around Sloan's lake. Inside is very open, the perimeter is full of different food options and the middle is full of communal picnic tables. We tried the Greek spot, the fried Chicken and the lobster roll. My personal favorite was the Greek. Lots of options to choose from. It is dog friendly inside which is fun! Will definitely go back to sample more spots. Fun date night! read more

Food is good plenty of delish options. As a dog owner and dog-lover, I was annoyed by the amount of dogs present. I know Denver is dog friendly, but the "dog days" should be limited, just as Recess in the highlands had to do as a result of just too much barking and too many doggie scuffles. I also think the lounge area and/or rooftop should be roped off as adult only (at least at a certain time of day/night.) Seems weird to have drunk adults and small children in the same area....similar to how Avanti starts IDing and stamping hands for the upstairs' patrons. ...this would also help the bartenders quickly turnover drink orders. Overall, room for improvement, but happy this establishment made its way to Edgewater, and excited to see how it grows and develops. read more

Okay this food Hall is a winner!! As of the time of this review it is still partially under construction in terms of retailers, but the food options are plentiful and might I add no corners have been cut at each of the vendors. They are all performing at their best that said eat'em while they're hot! For the grand opening, the music was bumping excellent cover band choice, cocktail list meets today's standards, and vast beer list to boot. Circling back to the food in general food halls are great way to experience a tapas-style dinner but typically many of the vendors are lacking in this case public market was not all the vendors we were able to taste were fantastic we tackled more than half. This will be a regular dining option for our date nights.. read more

Edgewater Public Market has brought a lot to this neighborhood, and it is a pretty fun spot to spend a few hours! Our friend recently bought a house a few blocks from here, so we decided to grab kids and dogs (both are welcome!) and head over. The public marketplace concept has been done more than a few times around Denver, but I still always like it. It's nice to have a large gathering space because it adds a lot of atmosphere, and Edgewater was no exception. Edgewater Public Marketplace is made more in the style of Avanti or Denver Central than Stanley or The Source. A large, public space offers food stalls, where everyone can pick what they want, and a large bar. This is opposed to a large space with separate stores and restaurants, leading you to have to pick one place within the space to visit. I found the bar to be very reasonably priced and thought the bartenders were fantastic. Food was overpriced at most stalls, but delicious and with a lot of variety in offerings. There are separate stores and venues within the communal space, but as Edgewater is so new, some aren't open yet (very excited for Barquentine brewing!). The only other standalone spaces I noticed being open were an ice cream shop and a craft making space for children. I think once these start filling in, the marketplace will have a lot to offer. I did notice that there is a rooftop bar, and that it looks adorable. I think in summer we will have to have a drink or five in this Instagram-worthy space. As far as comparing Edgewater to the other Denver marketplaces, it doesn't really hold its own yet. I do think this will change as their vacant spaces fill in, though. Outside of comparison though, this venue has provided a lot to its neighborhood, and made a huge step towards revitalizing Edgewater. We will definitely be back! read more
